my favourite part was when the bobcat was helped. The worst part was when her mother was killed by someone not being careful. My favourite character was Max because she noticed the baby bobcat all alone in the mountains when she was hiking. The worst characters were the people who killed Tuffy's mom. Tuffy is the name of the baby bobocat. Auryn 12 years old, 2015

I picked up the third book in this series from my local little free library, so naturally I'm reading the entire series. I would have LOVED this series when I was a kid; I was super into anything about wild animals. This first book was really lovely, includes some great facts about bobcats, and the sketch illustrations are also great. I have some questions about this wildlife sanctuary that is going to depend on volunteer child labour to remain open, but I'm willing to overlook this skepticism.
