I love words, almost more than anything, and this was a beautiful collection of bumptious, unsavory, fractious and vindictive words.

Also enjoyable are he quotes throughout, some morally guiding, some more Machiavellian (quite literally.)

A lushly designed yet affordable book about my personal favorite of the Seven Deadly Sins. I'm glad I bought it & definitely plan on keeping my copy, though I wish there were many more literary quotes illustrating some of my favorite words in the English language.
