The True Story of the Bilderberg Group: North American Union Edition

Rate this book
Delving into a world once shrouded in mystery, this investigative report provides a fascinating account of the annual meetings of the world's most powerful people, The Bilderberg Group. Since first meeting in 1954 at the Bilderberg Hotel in the Netherlands, The Bilderberg Group has been comprised of prime ministers, presidents and the wealthiest CEOs of the world, all deliberating the economic and political future of humanity. The press has never attended these meetings, which have ramifications on the citizens of the world. Using methods that resemble the spy tactics of the Cold War - and in several instances putting his own life on the line - the author managed to learn what was being said and has made it public for the first time.

Daniel Estulin is an author, public speaker and investigative journalist who specializes in researching and reporting the Bilderberg Group, an annual invitation-only conference of the elites in the fields of business, finance, media and politics.

In an interview, Estulin describes his background, which led him to his profession:

"I’m a Russian expatriate who was kicked out of the Soviet Union in 1980. My father was a dissident who fought for freedom of speech who was jailed, tortured by the KGB. Suffered two political deaths. When these people got tired of us they threw us out. We moved to Canada and 12 years ago I came to Spain. My grandfather was a colonel in the KGB and the counter-intelligence in the 1950s, so I am privileged somewhat to get a lot of the information from secret service which are our best sources of information. Not only the KGB people but the MI6 people, the CIA because most of the people who work for the secret service as you probably know are patriots and they love their country and they’re doing it for the good of the nation and they’re the first ones absolutely terrified of the plans of the Bilderbergers".

I use to think these secret societies were a bunch of crap. Then 911 happened. Then Loose Change appeared and the rabbit hole began to take shape.

As for my review, the book promises more than it delivers. Books shouldn't do that. It's not nice.

If you have never heard of Bilderberg/Trilateral Commission/Council on Foreign Relations then this book is a decent place to start.

Stunning and disturbing, but a must-required-read if you care about your family, your health, your money, and your future. Your world will be changed forever if you want to be enlightened. and proceed in your life with an informed understanding of how the world, locally and globally, has been operating for eons. This will change the direction in all your choices.

'The Bilderberg Group' bases its premise on the secret operations of the world's most powerful people, claiming to show readers how the so-called "masters of the universe" rule the world. It's interesting stuff, to be sure, but overall this book suffers from bad editing and dubious sources. I bought it in the hopes of finding some solid research for my thesis, yet the author's use of obscure, meaningless, or irrelevant sources (sometimes even quoting himself, which I find incredibly annoying) makes it difficult to see it as little more than just another title in the 'conspiracy theory' crock.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO: people who have never heard the term 'Bilderberg Group'; conspiracy theorists; P.I.s/individual kooks looking for some tips on secretly stalking large groups of people

Before you enter the voting booth, it is essential that you read The True Story of the Bilderberg Group (aka The New World Order) but, I must caution you not to become disillusioned and not vote. Being an independent student of politics, I have read many books on the subject and have learned a great deal. The True Story of the Bilderberg Group) is the first book I’ve read that actually explained how the United States and World Politics are interconnected and how that interconnection affects the 99%.

I believe the best way to review The True Story of the Bilderberg Group is to let the book speak for itself.

Quotes from Book

The Trilateral Commission doesn’t secretly run the world. The Council on Foreign Relations does that. P. 65

John F. Hylan, Mayor of New York, … “The real menace of our republic is the invisible government,… p.78

Our job is to give people not what they want, but what we decide they ought to have.—Former President of CBS News, Richard Salant. P. 89

…David Rockefeller… “We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications, whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forth years” … “It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bakers is surely preferable to the national auto determination practiced in past centuries.” P.92

…For most of PBHS’ history, funding was provided by AT&T [a CFR company]; Archer Daniels Midland, whose Chairman Dwayne Andreas was a member of the Trilateral Commission; PepsiCo [a CER Company], whose newly promoted Chief Executive Officer, Indra Krishnamurthy Nooyi, is a Bilderberger and Trilateral Commission Executive Committee member, and Smith Barney [a CER Company], one of the world’s leading financial institutions. Furthermore, Smith Barney is interlocked with Citigroup Inc., a global financial services company that is a member of the Bilderberg Group, the CFR and the Trilateral Commission. P. 153

The magic word is monopoly,, “an all-encompassing monopoly” that not only controls the government, the monetary system and all property, but is also a “monopoly which, like the corporations it emulates, is self-perpetuating and eternal.” P. 164

To the Rockefellers, reports Gary Allen, “socialism is not a system for redistributing wealth – especially not for redistributing their wealth – but a system to control people and competitors. Socialism puts power in the hands of the government. And since the Rockefellers control the government, government control means Rockefeller control. P.166

… The one thing this self-appointed “cabal” of financial aristocrats is most afraid of is a public revolt, because they have been the masterminds behind one of the most devastating revolutions in history…. P. 188

Things to Ponder

~ Was Nixon framed for Watergate
~ Did The Bilderberg Group order the hit on the Kennedy Brothers
~ The media is owned by The Bilderberg Group who, when given the orders, print false and misleading information
~ Why has every U.S. president since “Ike” Eisenhower has belonged to the Bilderberg Group.
~ The Logan Act was intended to prohibit unauthorized United States citizens from interfering in relations between the United States and foreign governments. There appear to have been no prosecutions under the Act in its almost 200-year history.

I found The True Story of the Bilderberg Group an informative and provocative read.

Disturbing to say the least. I'm not even going to get into it because people think it is crazy. No one wants to believe it because it is scary. This is a good book on the topic if people want to actually know what goes on other than Lindsay Lohan going to jail or cats doing cute things.

This was a total waste of time. It was wacky, but not wacky enough to be entertaining. Basically, the Bilderberg Group, Tri-Lateral Commission, and Council on Foreign Relations run the world. And the Rockefellers run them. The end.

This guy also needs to do some fact checking, because I'm pretty sure the Pentavirate runs the world. That would be the Queen, the Vatican, the Gettys, the Rothschilds, *and* Colonel Sanders.

Ok, I totally need to stop reading shit like this. Conspiracy theories have a way of making you distrust everything and everyone. It's just that I don't buy the explanations our leaders give us for the stupid shit they do. At least these whacked-out theories make sense to me on some level.

I started this book and put it down a few times before I finally finished it.

Daniel Estulin is a Russian who lives in Spain. He's excellent to listen to in a radio interview, but his writing can feel a bit "all over the place" to me.

Still, the content of this book is important enough to warrant perseverance.

There are several non-governmental organizations - the "round table" groups, the Club of Rome, the G20, the European Union, The Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg, the World Bank and IMF, and The Trilateral Commission - just to name a few - who meet to discuss policy regarding issues that are of interest on an international or a transnational level. It is the stated mission of such groups to strategically create impacts on world economy, law, politics, and society. Yet, NONE of these organizations consist of members chosen by democratic or republican processes within the respective sovereign nation states from which they hail.

Instead, their membership consists primarily of a self-appointed elite, either hereditary or intellectual/financial, who - often enough - meet in secret to discuss their plans to influence the governments of nations around the world.

We like to believe our nation is sovereign - that our constitutional republic is still intact, and that groups that encourage international cooperation exist to increase freedom and rights for citizens around the world. However, the evidence for this pollyanna view of globalization just isn't there.

As the influence of international bodies and the unelected groups that influence them grows, the sovereignty of nations necessarily diminishes. We see this whenever a change in World Bank policy influences laws in the United States, or when a collapse of one nation due to debt obligations becomes a global collapse, due to the bonds of treaties like Maastricht - which we see, are stronger than the decisions best for a nation like financially-stricken Greece.

It is against United States law for serving officials of the government to participate in policy making with non-elected officials. Yet, in direct violation of this law, many government workers and elected officials attend Bilderberg, year in and year out. These discussions are never made public, and the meetings themselves are rarely reported on. Members of the press who attempt to discover what attendees are discussing are turned away by armed guards. Some are even followed and arrested.

If we wish truthful answers to questions like, "Why do we still have a Patriot Act?", "Why are there more and more former corporate heads involved in conflict-of-interest-laden policy making?", "Why aren't we taking any steps to end our involvement in foreign wars?", and "Why did we continue the Bush bailout of Wall Street?" perhaps we need to look no further than the undue influence of outsiders on our political process.

This influence is - as many cynically point out - nothing new. Still, it is reaching critical mass in our life and times. Either we will do something to reverse the course of the errosion of our sovereignty, or our grandchildren will live to regret our choice not to.

Great book about the Bilderberg conference: The masonic secret world government preparing for wars to enslave the world. Concentration of psychopaths to prepare for the New World Order. Under the secrecy of states security they have yearly gatherings in expensive hotels over the world and make decisions no ordinary citizen may be aware of. The first book about the true implications of tolerating such a clan of sick powerful entities having secret meetings under the full protection of "democratic" elected governments. A contradiction in terms. This book is a real must-read!

The True Story of The Bilderberg Group by Daniel Estulin certainly throws a lot of facts at the reader concerning the congregations of powerful people under the rubric of the Bilderberg Group. But mostly, this book consists of a lot of conjecture about what these people are up to, and almost nothing in the way of justifiable assertions of conspiratorial fact.

It is a fact that The Bilderberg Group exists, and that powerful business people, political leaders, and others get together in secretive posh conventions. Furthermore, I have no doubt that at least some in this crowd are bona fide megalomaniacs who fall under Estulin's characterization and would like to enslave the world and send it back to the feudal age. Except, rather than feudal fiefdoms the world would be united under a monolithic world government. Basically, the book makes the claim that the Bilderbergers seek to transform the nations of the world into a world company that enslaves everyone except members of the new aristocracy.

Estulin describes the objectives of the Bilderberg as “a One World Government (World Company) with a single, global marketplace, policed by one world army, and financially regulated by one “World Bank” using one global currency.” (p. 41) According to the author, the Watergate Scandal was contrived by the Bilderbergers so that Henry Kissinger and Gerald Ford would do the bidding for David Rockefeller and other alleged Bilderberg masters.

I am not going to delve any further into this nonsense. However, I would like this review to be a commentary that while rejecting the paranoiac claims of the what the Bilderberg Group, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission and other groups are up to, secretive organizations of the worlds most powerful leaders do pose potential dangers that need to be monitored and defended against. There does not need to be a worldwide conspiracy of the new aristocracy of the rich and powerful for there to be subterfuge, suppression of information and technology, and monopolistic manipulations of the marketplace that involve mutual backscratching between government, media, business, academia and, let us not forget, the military-industrial-complex.

There is little doubt there there are interrelated, mutually supportive blockages in the world economy and international political structures that thwart far greater human flourishing. The consciousness of the world's people need to become enlightened enough to rid itself of the economic, political, intellectual and spiritual malaise that currently inflicts the world. However, phantasms such as the Bilderberg conspiracy are assuredly false if for no other reason than that the great majority of the world's most powerful people do not have the collective mindset of psychotic dictators. As I mentioned, there might be a few of them in play but for the most part, while many political or financial leaders may be self-interested or even selfish, most of them are not devoid of spirituality, higher conscious and love. Lord Acton's famous quote, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely” is widely supported. However, Acton also went on to say that “Great men are almost always bad men,” and this latter sentiment—one with which I very strongly disagree and vehemently do not share—seems to be the sentiment of conspiracy theories concerning the Bilderbergers and their associates. Could the 1984ish vision of Estulin's book ever become a reality? Of course it could, as well as could other nightmarish totalitarian schemes. The True Story of The Bilderberg Group is a fictional anti-utopia, not the book of nonfiction that it purports to be. But like all anti-utopias it is not without value.

it fits the whole puzzle of the main zionists' objectives..CFR, Committee of 300, and the world "known" Bilderberg Group..destined to groom future leaders from start...summaries are simple: (extract from another unknown reader)
Bilderberg Objectives

The Group’s grand design is for “a One World Government (World Company) with a single, global marketplace, policed by one world army, and financially regulated by one ‘World (Central) Bank’ using one global currency.” Their “wish list” includes:

– “one international identify (observing) one set of universal values;”

– centralized control of world populations by “mind control;” in other words, controlling world public opinion;

– a New World Order with no middle class, only “rulers and servants (serfs),” and, of course, no democracy;

– “a zero-growth society” without prosperity or progress, only greater wealth and power for the rulers;

– manufactured crises and perpetual wars;

– absolute control of education to program the public mind and train those chosen for various roles;

– “centralized control of all foreign and domestic policies;” one size fits all globally;

– using the UN as a de facto world government imposing a UN tax on “world citizens;”

– expanding NAFTA and WTO globally;

– making NATO a world military;

– imposing a universal legal system; and

– a global “welfare state where obedient slaves will be rewarded and non-conformists targeted for extermination.”

I picked this up at the local public library to listen to in my van while I drive. I really enjoyed the author's style and it is clear he did his research very well. Conspiracy folks tend to always talk about the elites but I enjoyed that Estulin named names, a lot of them. Lacking was any mention of freemasons. I also would have liked to hear more about how these various groups working towards this 'new world order' address the question of religion. Aside from a few comments on interactions with Islamic countries, there is nothing. Anyone seeking to build a new world order based on oligarchy and internatioanalism must surely deal with institutions like the Roman Catholic Church or hundreds of millions of energetic and growing Pentecostal Christians around the world.

very poor journalism, based on personal speculations and opinions, very few facts, list endless names of well known people, very anti Rockefeller, imagine a great world conspiracy for the "New World Order" based on socialism. No credibility. It is OK for leaders to meet and exchange ideas.

This is another book that supercharged my desire to start researching the reasons for many of our societal and governmental issues today. I had never heard about the Bilderberg Group and had only cursory knowledge of either the Council on Foreign Relations or Trilateral Commission. The book and it's conclusions are pretty chilling. Again, this would be on the "conspiracy" end of topics, but I understand much better, in retrospect, why the "Occupy" movement happened.

A mixed bag and mixed thoughts, different, at least in intention, as declarative, rather than explorative, than the blurb had me expecting. Either way, I learned some interesting theories and it's always good to glean more from foreign policy and international geopolitics. The author was very detail and list-oriented. And there was some personal adventure there, investigative guy vs secret state actors. And I found a novel by chance from the eighties which mentions the Bilderbergers.

More to come, maybe?

The Bilderberg Group is a group of American, European and Canadian industrialists, politicians, financiers, academics and media people. The group was founded in 1954, meets annually and usually attendees number between 120 to 150. The meetings are very private, by invitation only with no written agendas, notes or minutes.

The purported long-term goal of the “Bilderbergers” is “a One World Government with a single, global marketplace, policed by one world army and financially regulated by one World Bank using one World Currency. The list of Bilderbergers since 1954 include a list of who’s who in international (and American) politics, business, finance and the media, including several past Presidents and numerous top advisors to the American President.

The Bilderberg Group is often mentioned along with and associated with the Council on Foreign Relations (American only) and the Trilateral Commission (International) and all three of these groups and others are thought to have a “One World Government” objective.
Is the True Story of the Bilderberg Group a conspiracy theory story? Yes. Is all or part of the book true? Certainly some, yes.

When we look at what we now call the “Deep State”, some of the pieces of the puzzle start to come together.

I thought The True Story of the Bilderberg Group was a good read and informative. This is the kind of scary story that keeps me up at night.

This is essentially about what I still refer to as "the smoking man" -- the elite business and government folks who make the decisions and pull the strings in how things are in the world today. Plenty of secrecy, plenty of conspiracy. I believe it all and it's scary stuff. And yet it's also not necessarily "fun reading" either. And there is a definite "tone" to the book that is at times a bit much - very much against the "one world government" agenda of the Bilderberg's. It IS very interesting to see who is who and who is part of what and how it all ties together in the chain of history and policy making.

This could have been a smoother more eloquent read but that does not take away from the information shared. If you want to believe that societies like the Bilderberg Group do not exist or they do and have the interest of the people in mind...just look at our current times. It's quite easy to connect the dots. It's amazing how many political conspiracy theories of the past have actually been proven correct. This book connects the present to the dots of the past and at times I thought, 'Oh that's why...' I now know and understand that Russia has been our 'frienemy' for a long long time. That our government is a business and that the talk if a new world order is not just talk.

Sinceramente, me he aburrido muchísimo.

This books spells out exactly what is happening politically in the USA and globally. I use this book as a reference and reminder for why I'm an activist. Daniel Estulin did a great job uncovering what is going on, how the groups have organized and how they function. I consider this a primer for any non-fiction book club wanting insight into the New World order and Neoliberalism.

The problem with these kind of books is that they offer no solutions. Are there really corrupt men in high places, sure. Do they get more and more corrupt and have expanding influence, no doubt. But what are YOU gonna do with YOUR life. Stop dwelling and start living.
