Are they ready to gamble on a 1Night Stand?

Mia hides behind her computer, designing popular computer games. And though she knows just what to do to keep men coming back for more on the other end of the modem, she doesn’t seem to have the same knack in person.

Gavin hides behind numbers. Since his wife left him, the only thing he cares about is his son and his job. One failed relationship was enough, but if the right curvaceous woman came into the picture he just might manipulate the numbers a bit.

Can two meddling sisters enlist Madame Eve to bring Mia and Gavin together and show them two is always better than one?

Miriam “Mia” Callrous can relate to computers, design and create game images and ‘toons’ to delight the most ardent game playing fan, but relating to the world and having a real and satisfying relationship has always alluded her. If it wasn’t for her sister she wouldn’t have contacted Madame Eve and arranged for a ‘date’ . It’s been a long time since any man has shown her any interest and she wants that special intimacy of a man’s touch. After all she’s in Las Vegas where anything goes and Madame Eve promises satisfaction and complete discretion. It’s a roll of the dice, but she could be the winner in the end.
Gavin is divorced and hasn’t been interested in sex since his wife left him for a co-worker 5 years before. He’s grown his business and raised a son during that time, but now at the urging of his sister his betting on Madame Eve to help him forget the past and move forward. He knows the woman he wants. Someone soft, round and with full lips and curves. A woman confident and comfortable in her own skin. A woman like the gamer who he helped. Two strangers. One date. Will lady luck be on their side, - if only for one night?
Strawberry Kisses is a sweet, quick, yet satisfying treat from Decadent Publishing in their One Night Stand Series. Mia and Gavin are each vulnerable in their own way. They need to break the pattern of their uneventful lives and connect with another person on a very intimate level. The surprise and happiness they feel when they discover who their ‘date’ is made me smile as I read along. Strawberry Kisses is a short, very steamy read that left me wanting to break out the strawberries and champagne myself. I can’t really say anything negative about this story, accept I wish it was a little longer.

I found this 1NightStand to be very sweet. I know when you are looking for stories that are hot, sexy, and sensual. This story is definitely all those things, but it also has an element of sweetness that I really connected with. Mia is a smart and successful woman and someone I would probably like if I met them in real life. The only thing that I did not like about this was that I would love to follow Gavin and Mia's story after their 1NightStand.

I have read quite a few stories from this series and have yet to be disappointed. I recently found out there is an actual order to them, but do not let that dissuade you from jumping in and starting with the one that calls to you. They are, in my opinion, each a complete story in and of themselves.

Strawberry Kisses is a very sweet romance story and is an excellent installment to the 1 Night Stand series. The hero and heroine were hot together and I really liked how the author gave us a bit into their lives because it’s hard to fit a lot of detail in just a few words.

1 Night Stand is a series from Decadent Publishing. Each book has to be 7-12K word, erotic short stories with a one-night stand theme. The best thing is they all have to have HEA. So, if you’re in for some hot short stories then check this book out along with countless of others in this series.
I recommend this to anyone who likes hot romance stories.

Strawberry Kisses by Dominique Eastwick

Mmm…I like strawberries a lot and I liked this sweet story just as much. It was short but all that needed to said or done was done and done well. There was just enough character description and back story to make this an easy and complete read. I’ll definitely be picking up the other 1 night stand books.

One delicious read!

“Tell me what you want?” His breath was warm against her lips.
“I want you.”
“How? Give me permission, tell me it’s okay to strip you naked, kiss you wherever the need takes me, and f**k you until you can’t see straight.”
“Yes, yes, please, all of that.”

Mia creates computer games and her sister has signed her up at Madame Eve’s 1 Night Stand service. She’s matched with Gavin who is at the same computer game convention as Mia.

This is the second 1 Night Stand story I’ve read and this one was just as entertaining as the first. I especially liked the nice set up in such a short space. The author did a good job with quickly introducing us to the characters, what they did and some of their background. They came across as fun and a perfect match for one another.

I liked the idea that Mia had a different, almost geeky career, to most heroines in other books, and that she wasn’t model perfect in looks either. Both things made her seem more real on the page. Gavin is well portrayed as a nice guy and you feel yourself urging him on to see Mia again.

The sex is hot and well placed throughout this short story. If you’re looking for more books in this series or if it’s your first time sampling it, I’d say give this one a read.

I liked several things about this novella. Mia designs video games, a profession most women wouldn’t even contemplate. And there’s also the fact that she’s not your average Barbie doll that most authors tend to design their heroines after; Mia has curves in all the right places…and maybe a few “wrong” places as well.

I adored Gavin because he wasn’t afraid to go after what he wants; which is curvilicious Mia. Even though she was a half an hour late – probably because she’s the klutziest protagonist I’ve read about in a long time – he instantly forgives her. He teachers to enjoy champagne and strawberries…something I think my husband needs to feed me.

Overall, this was cute and an easy read. With just 20 pages you can read it while your favorite CD or TV show plays in the background. I not only recommend Strawberry Kisses, but all the other books in the 1Night Stand series. I am hoping that I’ll get to meet Madame Eve one of these days.

I know this was a short story but it was way too short. Absolutely no chance of any background info or character development. It basically man meets woman, they go on blind date, they have amazing sex and they live happily ever after (ok I am assuming this last part).

Are they ready to gamble on a 1 Night Stand?

Mia hides behind her computer, building popular computer games. And she
knows just want to do to keep men coming back for more on the other end
of the modem, she doesn't seem to have the same knack in person.

Gavin hides behind his numbers, since his wife left him the only thing
he cares about if his Son and his Job. One fail relationship was enough
for him, but if just the right curvaceous woman came into the picture he
might just manipulate the numbers a bit.

Can two meddling sister enlist to Madame Eve bring these two together
and show them that two is always better then one?

Hooray for heroes like Gavin who love curvy women like Mia! Strawberry Kisses is one of those fabulous stories that I know I will read over and over again. I absolutely loved the main characters and their interactions. I found it so easy to relate to Mia, I have many klutzy moments myself and I love how she referenced her career in her internal dialogue, it just made her more endearing. Gavin was so very charming and realistic. His attraction to Mia’s mind and body seemed so sincere and did a lot for my own self-esteem. I genuinely felt as if I made a connection with both these characters who I found to be extremely well developed for such a short story. This is one hot and romantic keeper and I cannot wait to see what else this author has to offer.

I honestly don’t think I have ever read a bad 1 Night Stand. Nope, I’m pretty sure I haven’t. Decadent Publishing hit the nail on the head when thought up this series. Short stories are hard to write as it is. How do you tuck days, weeks, or months into a large handful of words and have a great story? It’s really hard to do. Great fix, use the small number count to write about twelve hours. Problem solved!

Yes, the concept of a one night stand may give some people the squirmies, but trust me, they are not dirty (unless the participants want it that way). With Madame Eve’s service, they’re nights of destiny not your average one night stand.

Mia and Gavin are two lonely people who agree that life has passed them by and it’s time to have at least a night of fun. They are both busy people, but trust the services of Madame Eve. Unknown to them they have met very briefly before. The meeting was fleeting, but it left them both wanting more.

Strawberry Kisses is a wonderful read; quick and hot, sweet and sexy. Ms. Eastwick did a great job and I’m so very happy for this deserving couple. They are so darn cute together. As I was reading, I was swept away by their instant attraction and passion.

Well done! Short story writing at its very best.

Madame Eve has done it again. Although short in length as all 1NS stories are, Strawberry Kisses does not disappoint. Mia was endearingly clumsy and Gavin dashing and handsome. These two characters deserved each other. An accidental meeting sets off a series of wants and desires for both characters that luckily works out in their benefit thanks to Madame Eve.

Although the concept is for the parties involved to spent 1 night together and hopefully make a connection, anyone familiar with the series knows that Madame Eve is never wrong in her matches. Mia and Gavin are likeable characters. Far from explosive at first site, their first accidental meeting and everything that led up to their date was sweet in a way that not many short romances are. Rather than rush in to the sex, Eastwick takes the time to build some intimacy between the characters and the story is so much better for it.

I am a great fan of the 1NS series and have discovered quite a few new authors due to this series. Dominique Eastwick has just become the latest addition to my list of authors to follow. This short and incredibly sweet romance is a great addition to the 1NS series and I can’t wait to read more by this author.

Really liked this book and this series, I can't wait to read more about Madame Eve and her clients. There are over 60 books so that should keep me busy. This book is short and surprisingly sweet, with some hot sauce thrown in on top. Don't expect a long story because that isn't what you are buying. Would I like to have read this story in full form, of course. Did I buy a short story? Yes. Really its a 4.5 but GRs doesn't do 1/2 ratings.

This 1Night Stand book was interesting. Mia and Gavin were sort of a cute dynamic but it was strange also. The author was partially descriptive in the start of the story then it sort of faded off. I thought it was ok. I couldn't tell if Mia was self conscious or socially awkward. Her age wasn't quit determined either I assumed late twenties. I still enjoyed it. Regardless it was a nice fast read.

A fun, sexy quick read about an older guy and and a gaming nerd. He has had the stick thin model type and it didn't work out. He likes a woman with brains and a bit of body over her bones. When his sister hooks him up with Mia via Madame Eve they both are in for more than they bargained for.
