Fresh from the battle in the temple, Julie and the rest of Unit Seven barely have time to wash off the dryad ash before they’re deployed again.
Their assignment leads to the revelation of a prophecy that will destroy the para world if OPMA can’t prevent it from coming to pass.
All Julie wants is one date with Taylor that doesn’t end in a fight for their lives…
Too bad for them, the Dark Moon League is planning to strike at the heart of Avalon.
Julie must step up her game if she’s going to be part of the solution to the rebellion. She didn’t expect her career growth to involve a return to the classroom.
What can a covert Lunar Fae do when her life and her magic are spinning out of control?
Lean on her friends, of course! Luckily for Julie, Bianca and Morgan have her back while she’s finding her feet with both her emerging powers and the responsibility of leading her unit.
Can she learn to control her new abilities in time to prevent total disaster? Or will all OPMA’s efforts be eclipsed by the Dark Moon?

A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That's where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey's hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven't already Googled that, but it's like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.
My pets... I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She's a Labradoodle - I think. It's hard to say but it's the best I can come up with.
What I'm working on... I'm already working on the next book in the series - was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

Tactical is book seven in the Para-Military Recruiter series by Renée Jaggér & Michael Anderle. I read this through Kindle Unlimited.
Tactical picks up where Soldier ends. The authors sure know how to keep you coming back for more.
Julie gets promoted and gets the Avalon fortress into shape. She’s training separate teams into working as one with the Eternal Palace guards and she has to contend with a growing dragon egg.
Tactical was an enjoyable read. I enjoyed the progression and Julie’s growth. It’s full of intrigue, suspense, action, humor and a little bit of romance.
'Tactical' was so absorbing, so full of plots, and battles, and action, and betrayals . . . it was so full of love, and laughter, and enduring friendship, and loyalty . . . it was so full of everything that a reader would EVER want in a story, that I sat all through the night, until I reached the end, at 4.40am this morning! Lol
This is an awesome book, an awesome story, and it's full of great plotlines, and has characters that you can only learn to love, as you go from book to book, discovering their deepest needs, and wants, and wishes!
Renee Jagger and Michael Anderle are a brilliant writing team - but, then, Michael seems to have a real knack, of choosing the best writers to team up with, giving them the benefit of his experience, as they fill our World with amazing stories - and I'm so very glad that I've got this complete series, as I'd really hate to have to wait for the next book to be published!
I guess it's as well that I didn't discover the LMBPN Library until it had been going for around 3 years, as it's stable of Authors, that Michael Anderle drew together, which meant that there's always a completed Series that I can buy, and read, while others are being written! Lol
As I've got to a part of Julie's story, where I really can't stop reading, I'm going to load up Book 8 of this series: 'Officer', to find out just what's going to happen next - and then, maybe, I'll be able to sleep for a few hours before continuing again!
The final scene of Tactical, was so full of blood and thunder, that my brain is wide awake, so I know I won't be able to fall asleep for a while, so I may as well find out what happens next, right? Lol
So, once I've finished Book 8, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about the next Chapter of Julie's journey!
After the prophetic vision seen by Bianca and Julie, things are changing. Determined to make sure the future doesn’t happen the way it has appeared; new plans must be made. Julie is being promoted and becomes Bianca’s right hand. Given the job of getting the Avalon fortress offices of the PMA back and improved from what it was before being attacked, Julie does her thing from getting brownies to help with supplies, helping the IT trolls improve communication and new training for the Griffin teams. Besides getting the Avalon fortress into shape and training the separate teams into working as one with the Eternal Palace guards, Julie has to contend with a growing dragon egg. This book definitely has lots of action, suspense, surprises and humour. Taylor doesn’t have a large presence in this book but when he does appear it’s memorable. Each book is another step in Julies ongoing career, she gets more responsibility as her power grows. It is an easy, fun read, light but not fluffy (if you know what I mean) Very enjoyable.
Wow, Wow and WOW Julie is coming into her powers and she is marvelous.
Julie is finally learning how to come into her powers. She has found that the bond with the dragon egg she named Eggy gives her even more power than her kind normally have.. As a corporal under Bianca she is being taught even more how to lead others and bring them together as a team. She is also using the lessons learned as a member of the Griffons in how to use every method to battle unknown foes. The Queen is in major danger and so is her Captain and she has to save them even if it costs her life. Now she must grow up and put every effort to win.
The PMA knows there are still foes out there, though the Dark Crescent threat has been vanquished. So Bianca Hartshorn asks the three fates if they can identify the mole at HQ. They can’t do that, but bring something more valuable - a vision of the future. And it is terrifying. It puts Julie in crisis and she loses control.
When she comes to, she has been sequestered for one last burst of her learning curve - to tap her fourth element. And the dragonet helps her fly, and find her balance.
Needed for she is facing her greatest challenge yet - officer training. Because the vision must be met, and its fullness averted, if possible.
I really appreciate the addition of Jagger to the Anderle team. This is one of my favorite series in a long time that he has been a part of. I enjoy the character development without a huge amount of meaningless snark. Also there is actual plot development from book to book instead of alot of over developed explanations that don't add anything to the story. I continue to enjoy the MC and was pleased to see the development at the end. Sometimes it's hard to remember how young she is.
While not exactly a cliffhanger, it was definitely a breath taker!! Ugh!! SERIOUSLY!! I know I've still got 8&9 available but 10 won't be until August!! I really hate being left hanging!!
This is still a great series which I will continue to read in spite of the nail biting not because of it. This has mild language, moderate to severe violent and no intimacy. I would recommend it for anyone 16ish.
Julie and Bianca visit the Fates and see a vision that terrifies them. Now they have to work hard with their units to prepare and try to change the future. This was an intense book in the series with tons of action and high emotions. I cannot wait for the next book to see how everyone is affected how what happens next.
Well another rollercoaster of emotions and intrigue. Nothing is resolved as usual. there are more questions than answers and Julie comes up smelling like a rose once again. I think that maybe I am getting jaded and tired of the constant fighting and unresolved threat to the Eternity Throne with its weak and dying monarch. I want more! I need answers! I need resolution!
The battles continue, the opposition is growing in strength. The author picks up where they left off and we get a glimpse of the future. Plans are made, traitors chased and more soldiers are recruited. Bonds are formed and strengthened as the action picks up to a rapid pace.
Fantastic series, constant excitement and action!!!!!
Congratulations to Renee Jagger and Michael Anderle for this intriguing series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in their stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.
awesome story line and it ends with you needing to read book 8
I enjoyed the story and the love between Julie and her Prince it isn’t mushy it is just right. And I really love the fighting scenes the epic battles that they have.
Hard to review without spoilers so I’ll just say this. Read the books and keep going because I thought book one had all the surprises but nope, each book has been better than the one before it!
So cool I just love this. I am so grateful I could just sing. This book series is amazing and the best. These are some awesome moments. Being held spellbound as I read rarely happens but it happens in these books. You go Julie!!!
Oh, my word, what a roller-coaster of a great book! Just when I think I know what could happen, new things pop up and surprise me. It is awesome. This series just gets better and better. On to book 8, who needs sleep!!!
Now that Julie can fly, Bianca has her work as her second. With Julie's help they set up headquarters in Avalon and support the protection of the Queen.
