This book had it all. There was so much passion between Ethan and Kayla in and out of the boardroom that it made this book so hot! Kayla was so passionate about her family's company that she was willing to do whatever it took to save it. I really didn't see Ethan's proposition coming, and that's what realyl makes me throughly enjoy a book when the author really surprises me. The whole Adam's family dynamic was such a positive one, and it really made this book more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this one.
While I enjoyed the story line this was a difficult read. Understanding that this was a book written I presume early in Ms. St. John’s career, I found it difficult to follow the time and setting changes that occurred within chapters. The characters were well developed and the story line kept me reading, despite my difficulties.
Loved the story line. Its always amazing how when the characters try to manipulate one another it never turns out the way that think. But love always intervene.
As the oldest of three children what is Kayla Adams willing to do to save her fathers cosmetics company? She has to choice sell her soul to the devil or give up.
Loved Ethan and Kayla, some may say the Ethan strong armed Kayla into marrying him but it was a business arrangement and Kayla really need Ethan to help Adams Cosmetics sinking. Ethan wanted controlling interest in Adam's Cosmetics and made sure no one would help them and he came up a solution by informing Kayla that he would take nothing less than her being his wife and 50-1/2 percent of Adam's Cosmetics. Kayla and Ethan should have communicated more verbally. They were great in bed but lacked communication. Kayla was on the defense when it came to Ethan which was a good thing because Ethan wanted total control of which Kayla my girl was not going to relinquish. They both loved each and I was glad when they both came to terms with their feelings for each. Great story on now to read about Shane Adams baby brother of the family "Lost Without You".
The base of attraction has been there forever, but with their families at war, they had no chance to explore it. The merger was a good place to start, but their trust and communication was not there. They're good business people, but personally, they need to start talking to each other to see what they want.
The heat of attraction sparks the heart of romance. St. John breaks stereotypes and stirs up trouble with Need You Now. Kayla and Ethan push the boundaries of love and hate with explosive results. From a battle of wills to a meeting of hearts, St John knows how to bring the burn.
Kayla and Ethan were a good fit both in and out of bed. The chemistry was there, but Ethan was a bit pushy. Thecwriting was okay, but I liked premise. Always like a good negotiation book.

This book had a good hero and heroine, with all the right build up for a good story. Unfortunately the author spent so much time on their lack of communication and sex, and too little time on a good ending for the book. The ending felt rushed and incomplete.
Why is it I'm supposed to believe that Ethan blackmails Kayla into marrying him, lies to her about an ex, borderline sexually assaults her, but he's just misunderstood? No, he's a douchebag and she should've left him. The only redeeming aspect was the Adams family.
