A LUDICROUS SPLIT 2 reunites poets Kevin Ridgeway (INVASION OF THE SHADOW PEOPLE, FOSSILE OF THE NEW SCENE) and Gabriel Ricard (BONDAGE NIGHT, CLOUDS OF HUNGRY DOGS) for a new split poetry collection containing poems on the weird, wild soundtracks of each of their lives. Poems cover such singers and bands as Warren Zevon, The Pretenders, and Muddy Waters, with stories and memories built from the DNA of such tracks as The Ramones' Pet Semetary and Fiona Apple's Paper Bag. These poems promise to be funny, bizarre, and sometimes profoundly sorrowful. There's never been an autobiographical poetry collection quite like this.
Kevin Ridgeway was born and raised in Southern California, where he currently resides in a shady bungalow with his girlfriend and their one-eyed cat. He has been published in a wide variety of online and print magazines internationally. "Burn through Today" is his first chapbook collection of poetry, available from Flutter Press. Another chapbook of poetry, "Contents Under Pressure" is forthcoming from Crisis Chronicles Press.
