ACTIVITY BASED STATS: STUDENT GUIDE: .

Rate this book
Activity-Based Statistics is the result of the NSF-funded project of the same name, whose goal was to produce a collection of hands-on activities covering basic concepts of the subject, for introductory statistics classes. Activity-Based Statistics does just that - it actively engages students in the learning process by shifting away from the conventional textbook format and incorporating hands-on activities that promote the teaching of statistics more as an experimental science and less as a traditional lecture course in mathematics. The activities are designed to cover the standard concepts in introductory courses, and some make use of the latest available technology. The material is available in two formats. This Instructor Resources book contains the complete set of material for student use and instructions for each of the more than fifty activities.
