Male Bondage: Art Deserves a Witness

Rate this book
Men in difficult straits on purpose and freely chosen. A collection of photographs of artfully arranged bonds namely Shibari, the Japanese style of bondage that shows captive enthusiasts in their favourite defenceless, at someone else's mercy and left alone in their joyful pain. Bondage sessions are rarely photographed so aesthetically and glamorously. Not just devotees of the strung up will be buying this book off the shelves, but fans of brilliant photography have a wonderful book to add to their collections.

An art photography book with very little text. Mostly hemp ties. I should have read the description more carefully since I was hoping for more of an instructional book with ties particular to the male anatomy. This is not an instructional book, just lots of pretty pictures of tied up men. Although once I get more experienced with rope corsetry from the instruction books I'm sure this book will be a useful reference. Looking through this book gave me a real appreciation of how fragile men are.

Stunning photography. Would make ideal m/m BDSM cover art (which always seems in such short supply (other than Andrei Vishnyakov, who is also a very talented shibari photographer!)).
