Yes, I was inspired to read this book but my favorite band Pearl Jam & I'm so so so glad that I did. I love this book not only for the medical aspect but for the ideas that they had back then regarding medical treatments and causes of diseases. It is interesting, comical at times, and it's thought-provoking and I absolutely love it!

Amazing 1930's compendium of medical and herbal knowledge! This was home medicine before the discovery of penicillin, complete with intricate paper-fold anatomical depictions of the human body, head & brain.

One of my favourite books of all time I never tire of the medical tips from merely 100 years ago. I treasure my copy.
