She writes very good cook books. I feel bad that it took me so long to find her. Her website, tv show and cookbooks have been a blessing to me in the covid era and as I’m no longer allowed to go to cafes due to discrimination in my state, her simple recipes are packed full of flavour and punch that can give me a cafe type meal at home.

Selain itu ada juga bagian style, tentang penyajian makanan yang menarik.
Banyak resep menarik yang pingin dicoba, terutama dessert. Ada beberapa resep desert yang pake kulit pangsit(!) yang cuma di oven beberapa menit kemudian dikombinasi dengan slagroom dan buah, juga eclair pura2, yang dibuat dengan lange vingers yang dipotong jadi dua, dikasih slagroom di tengahnya dan atasnya dikasih coklat leleh.
Kebanyakan resep yang cepat (fast) tentunya pasta dan kombinasi sausnya.
I have been cooking out of this book lately and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite of the newer Donna Hay cookbooks based on its recipes which are quick, very simple and taste great. So far I have made the Prawn Noodle Soup, Cheat's Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse (one of my favorites and a must make), Simple Three-Cheese Pasta, and the Lime and Coconut Poached Fish. All of the recipe turned out well.The book has the usual mouth-watering food porn photos and her quick tips for serving and styling the food.
This book is a must for everyone who loves cooking and eating. The recipes in this book are an absolute no fuss saga. They are clear, simple and de constructed recipes of old classics that seem laborious to read leave alone gather ingredients and start. Right from using Filo pastry and ready rolled puff pastry one can actually create lovely one pot meals to satisfaction. I strongly recommend this book. The Dessert section is all inspiring.
Just like the title says: fast and simple. There are both vegetarian and meaty recipes in here. The recipes I have tried have been delicious. I invited a friend over and she compared our supper to a fancy restaurant meal. I also like that some of the recipes call for premade pastry or dried mushrooms, etc. to save time and use items already in my pantry. Plus the book is beautiful and there are pictures of every recipe. That's a big plus for me because I like to see what I am making.
I really love Donna Hay's works and I find the recipes so enjoyable and thrilling to make and share with friends and family. I am very grateful my library has so many copies of her various books and magazines.
