Inspiring and a lot of great techniques are included. But a lot of the art was unfinished or left something to be desired. The author also fails to talk much about whether or not the materials included in the mixed media pieces are archival. However, the ideas in the book are a great spring board for experimenting with new materials in encaustic work.
