Hypnotism is potentially dangerous at its best and is demonic at its worst. Hypnotism opens an individual to psychic experiences and satanic possession. When mediums go into hypnotic trances and contact the dead, when clairvoyants reveal information that they could not possibly know, and when fortunetellers through self-hypnosis reveal the future, be assured that Satan is at work. Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness, and there is no difference between the altered state of consciousness and the shamanic state of consciousness. Satan transforms himself into an angel of light whenever necessary to accomplish his schemes. If he can make an occultic practice (hypnosis) look beneficial through false facade (medicine or science), he will. It is obvious that hypnosis is lethal if used for evil purposes. However, we contend that hypnosis is potentially lethal for whatever purposes it is used. The moment one surrenders himself to the doorway of the occult, even in the halls of science and medicine, he is vulnerable to the powers of darkness. Table of 1. Hypnotic Origins. 2. I was unsure how to rate this, very low because of the total lack of research or understanding of the topic from the authors, or really highly for the comedy value. As the book is presented seriously, I had to rate it low (although one star out of five is still *WAY* higher than it deserves).
Although there are a few things that are correct in the book, the authors go out of their way to misinterpret these facts to bolster their agenda, the rest is pure nonsense. It’s just yet another example of highly religious people not understanding something and instead of learning about it, they just declare it ‘evil' and move on. I have no real issue when people do that for themselves, they are just being willfully ignorant. My issue is when they try to enforce their fears and lack of genuine research on others, as is what is happening here. Many who read this book will wrongly think the authors know what they are talking about and will accept the claims without looking into the topic any further.
As far as I can see, this book has only one actual use, and that is only prevalent if you happen to run out of toilet paper.
