"Aquell vespre tenia una cita amb una rosegadora molt especial... Patty Spring! Però resulta que el meu amic Xafarot em va embolicar en un dels seus casos estranys. El cèlebre quadre El Triomf del Tiramisú havia estat robat de la Pinacoteca de Ratalona i també havia desaparegut la millor restauradora de l'Illa dels Ratolins... Desemmascarar els culpables va ser una feinada!"

I absolutely devoured these books as a kid and since I'm going through a rough time right now, I decided to read one for comfort and ended up reading 4 haha. Don't judge me, I need book "comfort food". It wasn't even as bad as I thought it was going to be, I was obsessed with them in elementary school but i figured they wouldn't really stand the test of time. They held up pretty well though and did their job of comforting me, even if it was only temporary ;)
This is a fun and adventurous story starring the hapless, but lovable Geronimo Stilton - perfect for reading around Valentine's Day.
The text is sprinkled with fun and colorful fonts highlighting action words and adjectives. The story is exciting and a bit silly and our girls (especially our youngest) really enjoyed it.
We've read a couple books in the Geronimo Stilton series, and we are planning to start reading the series from book one soon.
Geronimo Stilton is am awesome kid book!! I started reading it and i couldn't stop. Well until I had to. Anyway this book is about a newspaper mouse who goes on an adventure with a famous spy( aka Hercule Poirat Geronimo's friend) Geronimo and Hercule try to find the crook that is responsible for a stolen painting. Anyway I have read almost all of the Geronimo Stilton books and this was one of my favorites. So I hope whoever reads this enjoys it as much as I did!!!
We enjoyed this novel, though not quite as much as some of the others. I think because it had to do with Valentine's Day and, apparently, we are not big fans of 'love' (platonic in the book) in this house. That said, we can not wait to make a Chocolate Cheesecake, as described in the story, from the recipe provided in the back!
Geronimo Stilton, editor of the Rodent Gazette, learns about a famous painting that is missing, along with the artist who was restoring it. When he helps his detective friend, Hercule Poirat, solve the case — from an open window and dropped business card that point to a rich factory owner — Geronimo misses his Valentine's Day date with Petunia Pretty Paws. In the end, Petunia forgives Geronimo, and they celebrate his birthday.
well, even though they wont let me read the book, I think it will be amazing because first of all, al the books I read are really good, second of all the title sounds like it will be a good book, and finally ( I know some people say don't judge a book by it's cover but...)the picture on the cover makes it look like it will be a really good book.
Geronimo was in love with Petunia Pretty Paws and every time he met her he felt like a jelly. There was a great disaster at his Valentines Day and the rest I leave it to you as you read it...

was going through the books i owned and remembered how much i loved these books as a kid. i thought it would be stupid and bad and i was right but i forgot the fuckass fonts and colors they’d use on specific words. i cant attach a picture but imagine the word stinky in a purple typewriter font in the sentence, “Then I rolled out of bed, brushed my teeth and threw on my STINKY clothes.” awful book, does not hold up 10/10
This book is about a missing painting but one of the most important paintings in the city. Geronimo and his friend Hercule needed to find out who stole the painting and bring it back. But the book is not only about that its also about Geronimo’s crush and Valentine’s day. That the title of the book in front doesn’t represent what the book is all about just a little bit because Geronimo is the most important character, Hercule That represents the best detective in the city, Petunia that is a mouse that works at the TV station and Geroninos crush of Valentine’s day. I think this book changed me by following clues because if you pay attention you see everything. I would recommend this book to my sister when she grows up I think she will like the story.
Well as an "adult" who reads a bit of everything including kids books. I really love Geronimo Stilton. I love his adventures with his sister, cousin and nephew. There is also a little girl who rolls with them sometimes and I know this because I am almost finished with the first season of the tv show. I love that Geronimo is not the typical hero. He is a mouse after all. This story is no exception. I think if you have person who is into fiction, animals and mystery this is a definite to read. Strong female characters who save the day and fun chaos thrown in you have your story.
In the book Geronimo Stilton this book is a book that has a good story behind it, this book is also a book that people of all ages could enjoy, it has good endings.Although i would recommend this book some people would not be interested, they wouldnt be interested because it is relatively short and it would be considered a childrens book to some people. But overall it is a good book because it has a good balance of pictures and words.
Just in time for Valentine's Day - and a plot that barely has anything to do with Valentine's Day. The mystery was a little too basic and could have used some Scooby-Doo style clues, but the boy still enjoys these books for some reason.
Very nostalgic read for me. I remembered this story being one of my favorite ones among the series. The plot was fast-paced but very child-friendly. I don't remember Hercule getting on my nerves as much but I guess its me noticing it in a different perspective already.
Geronimo was loved by a girl mouse, but when the time to let them have a meet, Geronimo was late, so the girl mouse was mad. But last, they had been good together.
