As someone who already does extensive work with crystals, I was intrigued by the idea of crystal grids which I had never heard of.

Hibiscus Moon's book is worth it for the last 25 pages. In these pages she explains the different types of grids one can utilize, setups, planning and examples. She also offers resources at the end of the book (just a few) that provide free grid sample downloads.

Be warned however! The first 60 pages are a complete waste. A former science teacher, she geeks out on the science of using crystal which could have been interesting but just wasn't. I'm not certain if this book was self-published but if there was an actual editor they should be shot! The writing is atrociously bad proving that being knowledgeable about a subject does not mean you are capable of effectively writing about that same subject. A lot of mentions of term with "and more about that later in XYZ section." Just poor organization which is truly a shame because there is information of much value if you are willing to wade through the writing mess to find it.

3.5 stars. This is a good jumping-off point for crystal study, I think, and I love that it touches on possible scientific explanations for the reasons we react to crystals in certain ways...but it's SO short! Only a few resources are listed in the back (perhaps because this isn't a well-documented field), and I would just really have liked to have more detail about everything. It IS the best book I've found for explanations of the how-to for crystals grids, if you're already convinced that they are a valid practice. There is a list of several intentions along with suggested crystals and layouts.

Ever since I first saw a Hibiscus Moon aka phanie12 Youtube video I was hooked. Her energy and knowledge of the crystals and their properties is contagious. I decided to try a flower of life prosperity grid after I viewed hers. Success! I knew after that, this book had to be mine. It certainly did not disappoint. This book contains vital information about crystal grids and is done so in a simple and to the point manner. I will try the self protection house grid and the honoring mother earth grid next. The combination of sacred geometry and the power of crystals is a natural winner. It may not be a novel... but I was not looking for that. Thank you Hibiscus Moon for delivering a quality product with such enthusiasm and passion in your heart. I cannot wait to get the Crystal Grids Template Package soon. Also, there should be a "big baby" quartz crystal generator in my near future! I ordered the Kindle version of the book here on Amazon and am so pleased with my purchase. I hope to see a hardcover extended crystal grid book with full color photos in yet another publication. I will be needing some Hibiscus Moon crystals coming up. Maybe I will have to check out the Hibiscus Moon Crystal Academy too. Yes I am a crystal and stone addict. Best seller! Love, light, and many crystal blessings~ Sarah

This is an informative book that is short, but packed with information. It is an easy reference for building a crystal grid, but I would have enjoyed a bit more information on the stones themselves, and exactly what these grids are achieving.

This book was enjoyable. I did find that it was written at a very elementary level, but I am sure that works for some. The information is legit, but just barely scratches the surface.

Informative

good starting place for a beginner (me!). May be a bit elementary for a more experienced person. I enjoyed it, will use the "recipes" for sure.

I want to preface this with I read the audiobook version, so I’m not 100% sure if the physical book differs.

This was a great intro to crystal gridding, and I very much enjoyed learning about it while I prepare to create my first one. I feel quite a bit more confident on how this all works, and I’m excited.

The book does a shallow delve into the scientific nature of crystal grids, which is awesome, and I’m definitely planning to read more on that side of the subject.

That said, the audiobook, unlike similar books, did not include a downloadable PDF of crystal grid examples (not even basic ones), so I’m left googling and researching further the basic grid designs (and not so basic designs) rather than learn those here.

Overall, I liked the book and found it otherwise informative.

This is an introductory book on crystal grids. The beginning is a dry rendition of scientific justifications for how and why they work. When it actually begins to discuss creating a grid it picks up but the information is easily available for free online. there are some so so photographs and decent diagrams. The reader is constantly referred to the reference section. Probably best to skip the text and just jump to the resources. the portion on activation is probably the best this book has to offer. It too is elementary but clear and easy to follow. Just okay.

Hibiscus Moon makes understanding the power and science behind crystal grids, easy. Her perspective weaves together science and the mystical and does so in a short, digestible format. Plus, her suggestions and samples of actual grids make this a good "how to" book. I would, however, suggest getting the Kindle version as a companion. The examples she gives are much enhanced by seeing the actual illustrations. This is the best book on crystal grids that I've read / listened to.

Brilliant

Such a brilliant book that explains the science behind crystal grids, as well as providing simple, down to earth examples to put everything into practice. I feel incredibly inspired to move my grid practice to the next level and explore further the world of sacred geometry and the magnificence of crystals. I’ll also now explore the crystal healer certification offered by Hibiscus Moon. Thank you for this absolute gem. 5 stars.

Good Introduction

Ideal for starting out on a journey of Crystal grid building. Also probably tells you all you really need to know.

Personally the style was a little bit fluffy for me, bit the information is good.

- I was disappointed; this book was quite basic and I pretty much did not learn anything.
- I was hoping for more scientific info, but the book is very slim and didn't add much to my crystal knowledge, unfortunately.

A good reference

I found it a book that was easy to follow and incorporated the author's personality. It has a overall introduction before getting into more of the nitty-gritty. A good reference with various crystal grid recipes included.

There are some typos and it is a fast read. It also has some photos that are just in black and white which really makes it not pop like it should. The content is good though and if you use crystals and want to make a grid, this is a great book to learn how to do so.

Meh...

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this book. I think it's probably a pretty good starting point for someone totally new to this sort of thing, but I didn't really gain anything from it.

It was ok, but you can find a lot of this information online for free. If you want a really quick, easy to read introduction to crystal grids and the like, this isn't a bad book to read for that purpose.

Very interesting book for anyone wanting to use crystal grids. Lots of information on the science behind the crystal grids. I would have liked more on different crystals to use for different intentions. It definitely more of a scientific approach then a new age-y one, but it's a lot of cool information that I've never read before. I would definitely recommend this to any crystal lover!

This book would have been finished in just a few days but took my time. I liked this book as it gave me the why grids worked. Very interesting concept with which I totally agree with. It didn't give I feel enough information on how to create a grid. It took in account that you knew something about grids and gave you a jumping off point. Otherwise a decent book for a beginner like me.
