//FORGET ME NOT❤️‍🩹🎀💕//
ARC Review 🌙

Releasing on 27.09.2023

Forget Me is 6th Book in the Badger Creek Duet Series and the 2nd part of Max & Harper’s Story.

If you haven’t read the first book of this duet I would urge you to kindly avoid the review and read the first part🤭

Read this book if you like:
🎀 Small Town Romance
🌙Single Mom
🎀Memory Loss
🌙Strong FMC
🎀Found Family
🌙Winning Over Again

TW:
Abusive Ex, Gaslighting, Loved one in danger

At the end of the 1st part, Harper meets with an accident and looses her memory…

This book starts with Harper in hospital and her not remembering anything of the last two years which means she doesn’t remember why she wanted to have a fresh start and leave her ex but she also doesn’t remember that after moving she fell in love with Max who is distraught after seeing Harper like this and her not remembering anything..

Harper with loss of her memory does the only thing and reaches out to her Ex.

This Novel hurt me a lot 😩 Seeing Harper helpless, loosing two years of her baby’s life not knowing what she likes and what she doesn’t…

Whereas seeing Max who was ready to do anything and everything to help Harper…

The Found Family Arc in this book was the most beautiful thing to read 🥺🥺 everyone stepping up to help Harper & take care of Sammie..

Tyler is as expected the ass*ole ex who wanted to have control over Harper & Sammie

If I thought that the efforts of Max to help Harper in book 1 were a standard, book 2 exceeded the expectations and god oh god Max’s Words of Affirmation 😭

The extended epilogue had me giggling 🤭

Thank you Author Agency for giving me the ARC in exchange of Honest Review.

Once I started reading, I was not putting it down. After where we left off in book two, I was anxiously awaiting to find out what would happen between Harper and Max. Harper having amnesia and now wondering where she is and who Max is pulled at all of my heart strings. Trying to find something she does remember, she makes one call, not knowing it will change everything. Max was so patient and caring during everything, no matter what he was not giving up, and never failed once to make Harper and Sammie a priority. Once, again Sammie not only made me laugh, but made me tear up as well. The found family is strong in book two, and I love that so much. Claire Raye really knew what they were doing with this one. Now that it’s really all over, I’m not sure how they expect me to move on with my life. Without question my favorite.

I desperately needed the conclusion, and in true Claire Raye fashion, they didn’t hold back. The only way out is through, so saddle up for this ride. Max and Harper will have you believing in soulmates. Max is swoon-worthy material. His dedication to ensuring Harper never forgets him just melted me. Sammie is the perfect comedic relief we need to offer reprieve. I love this story, and for every moment, Claire Raye made me hold my breath, anticipating what’s next. They gave us an equally heartwarming journey of freedom and found family.

This is book 2 of Max and Harper’s duet and picks up right where book one leaves off so make sure to read Forget Me first.

Claire Raye is not messing around with this one we were hit with so many deep emotions right from the beginning. My anxiety was high and it was wonderful. The journey this book took Max, Harper and Sammie on was amazing, I was right there with-I couldn’t put it down. A rollercoaster of emotions the entire time.

I knew we were going have a lot to deal with after that fantastic cliffhanger, but my heart was not prepared. Harper is so special, she has so much love for Sammie. It is so deep that it makes my heart completely full and happy. They are all dealing with such an emotionally trying situation. Respect for her character comes so easily.

I may have been on the edge of my seat for a good portion of this book, but I was also smiled lots seeing Max and Harper get back to them, the love and the relationship they built before. Memories may be missing but feelings don’t lie.

I thought I loved Max in book one but oh boy does he just surpass everything in this book. His love, patience, caring, and protectiveness is so amplified in this story, and I loved every moment of it. Max might be hurting, but he never lost his playful side and just how much she cares about Harper is so evident i everything he does to support her and Sammie. And seeing him with Sammie-it was everything.

Sammie was such a special addition to the book as well as Max and Harpers relationship. She is smart, fun, adorable and I loved every moment she was on the page.

I love the whole Badger Creek crew, and am even more excited now to head back a get Nick and Elissa’s book next!

This duet is a must read!

🌶🌶🌶

Holy Moly can I please get a Max Holden, thank you very much universe!

I squealed, cried, laughed, aaaaw'ed... Basically every emotion went through me while reading this 😂

The second I finished Forget Me I was praying to the book gods to send me Forget Me Not as soon as possible. As this was my first book by this author, I was completely shocked when that cliffhanger came and I was a little bit scared to see how it would develop. What happened at the end of book 1 is not something I would usually pick up to read (sorry for being vague, trying not spoil the first book).

However, I think it was handled beautifully and I was in from moment 1. Max and Sammies' relationship is adorable and it hurt me to see him hurting. I didn't used to like found family but this book once more proved that it is becoming one of my favourite tropes.

The only remark I have on this book is this: read the series in order! While they are standalones, I did spoil the other books for myself by reading this one first. I also read that Max was a bit of a dickhead in the previous books and I think I would've loved it even more if I could've seen the change in him, because he was simply perfect in these books.

I've added every single Claire Raye book to my wishlist and I'm so excited to get emotionally steamrolled again and again by them.

This is part 2 in the duet of Max and Harpers story and let’s not forget Sammie and the rest of the family.
I could not wait to get my hands on this book not only how book 1 ended but I was in absolute love with Max and Harper. These two were just a wonderful couple that you loved seeing getting to were they were and you just want more from them.

Claire Ray has done it again with the conclusion of their story. I just love how she pulls us in to the story and keeps you turning page after page after page. You just want more and with this story you just want to jump in and not put it down.

The love Max has for Harper is pure an and everlasting and you feel his pain and disparity at Harper not knowing him. You feel for him and also feel for Harper who can’t remember but knows deep down that Max means something to her. His delicate nature of being there for her and his willingness to just be there for her and do things at her pace was just wonderful. It felt like another love story for these two. Claire just writes their story so wonderfully and you can’t help but feeling deeply involved with what is going on. We also can not forget about Sammie who brings the comical aspect into the story.

This book is highly emotional and honestly will have you on a rollercoaster of emotions. You will laugh, cry, shout, love, and be ready to murder.

Highly recommend this story. I can’t wait to see wha lot else Claire comes with.

I loved the first 2 duets in the series and this time, it was EMT Max Holden's turn to find love with the newest member of the Badger Creek Resort staff, Harper Neely.

As a single parent to 4 year old Sammie, Harper made the drastic decision to move across the country to a town of strangers to save her daughter from the fear they have been living in.

She and Max connect instantly and easily, but Harper knows that when things seem too good to be true, they often are... and when fate appears to send Harper back in time, can Max and Sammie save her?

Thank you to Authors @claire_raye_author and @theauthor.agency for providing me with an ARC of both books in the series! All opinions shared are my own.

I have been looking forward to Max's story and LOVED seeing this side of him. He and Harper's love story is so natural and unassuming; boy meets girl (and her daughter) and falls head over heels. There isn't relationship drama between them, only Harper moving away from her past life and settling into her new one at Badger Creek Resort. Their chemistry is 🔥 and the parallel they've given to Harper's life as a single parent is so realistic, which I appreciate.

I've really enjoyed the first 2 duets in the series and the cliffhanger ending of Forget Me left me on the edge of my seat!! I won't give anything away, but Forget Me Not just blew it out of the water for me.

I'm excited to read the final duet in the series, Leave Me & Leave Me Not which will follow Nick & Elissa 🥳

This is book 2 of Max and Harper’s duet. Book 6 in the Badger Creek Duet Series.

When the accident happened and she lost two years, that has to be scary and terrifying. What a journey Harper went through to self discovery and remembering parts of the last two years. She did the only thing she did remember and she called her past.

“I hate how out of control I feel, how lost and alone and hopeless. It’s the worst feeling in the world to not know your own life, but I know I need to get back there. Not just for me, but for Sammie too.”

Max. MAX! What a sweet cinnamon roll hero!! When realizing Harper has memory loss, he was heartbroken. But he never gave up. He did all he could to have Harper remember their love and relationship.

“But even if you don’t, I’ll just convince you to fall in love with me all over again.”

Sammie is such a bright light in this story. Adorable! Her relationship with Max is everything.

The little twist and drama brings this story together and gives us the insight to how Harpers past was.

So happy we got the HEA and everything else’s with it!

“You and Sammie are my everything and I will do anything I can to protect you both. I know you’re scared, but I promise you we will sort this all out, okay?”

“It feels like this, us, has been everything I remembered it to be though, everything I wanted and needed.”

This is part 2 of the duet of Forget Me and you absolutely must read book one first. Harper wakes up after an accident and has amnesia. She can’t remember the last two years of her life. She doesn’t remember her boyfriend and the last she remembers her daughters two not four. She cannot remember what led her to flee Florida and make California her home. Not knowing, she brings some of the trauma of her past into her present.

I devoured this in a day because I needed Max and Harper to truly get their happy ending. We fell in love with Max and book one and he continues to be perfect a book two. Harper knows she can trust Max and she knows that the people from her past are not trustworthy. Even though Harper is slow to regain her memories, she continues to love Max and Max continues to show her just how much he loves her and Sammie. The way I melted when Max called Sammie his daughter completely did me in. Never once in all of this time did he falter in his love for Harper and Sammie. The bond that Harper finds again with her friends and Max’s family builds so much of her confidence to see her self worth.

Single mom, small town, 2nd chance, found family perfection.

This duet is one of the sweetest reads of the year for me. My heart just kept swelling for Max and Harper and then freaking Sammie 🥹

This is book two in the duet and the cliffhanger book one left us on does not do the start to this one annnnyyy justice. From the get go I was just NEEDING it to be one bad nightmare but of course it wasn’t. Like waking up and not remembering the last two years of your life sounds terrifying in general, but having to be a mom and explain that to your child…unreal.

The patience and the love and the self control Max showed towards Harper when her entire world was tilted off its axis is just like DO YOU EXIST IN REAL LIFE?! (Hubs take notes 🤣) he loves her so much and I’m just so in love with him.

Reliving all the sweet and spicy memories with Harper was fun and it made me really feel like I could put myself in her shoes. It’s like he fell first and she fell soooo much harder in this book because she had to remember it. Idk what it is about single mom books, but man they just get me.

This duet just had my heart so freaking full and broken at the same time. No freaking person should have to deal with what she did. She deserved alll the love Max and his friends and family showed her and Sammie.

Not even going to say his name, but justice was served. That’s that.

Happy release day to this Masterpiece. I don’t think there’s enough stars to describe how much i loved this book; actually both books in the duet.

This book is book 6 in the “BUDGER CREEK DUET SERIES” And its a continuation of book 5. (Highly advise you start with book 5)

Max really had me sobbing with him in his sad moments. His resilience and patience with Harper as she was recovering her memories was one of the beautiful powerful things about this book.

Sammie (bless her) she really was more than a four year old; every mother really deserves a daughter like her. She was fighting mental battles for the sake of her peace and her mothers.

The friends and Family of this beautiful couple really made this book worth reading! I absolutely adored them. Also The ending…PERFECTION!🤍

Tyler OMG! Is it bad that am glad he’s dead!? Aaaaaagh! That man made me feel like i wanted to get into the book and literally get rid of him myself 😂

This was my first read from this amazing “bestie writers” and I can honestly say! THIS WERE WORTH THE READ! And YES! If this is your vibe 👇

Harper never could have anticipated losing two years of her memory and finding herself confused and alone, across the country from the last home she remembered with her four year old daughter. In the shock of the accident, she calls for the one person she does remember and ends up inviting trouble into the safe space she’d been creating with Max in Badger Creek. But the crew at Badger Creek have made Harper and Sammie part of their family, and Max isn’t giving up without trying to win Harper’s heart all over again.

After the cliffhanger in book 1, I needed Forget Me Not to heal my broken heart and they did not disappoint! I think “our [daughter/son]” is the new “my wife” for me, especially when it comes out of Max Holden’s mouth. The way that not only Max, but his parents and all of their family and friends welcome Harper and Sammie in and absolutely dote on Sammie left me with heart eyes. I loved that even when she couldn’t remember, Max was always a safe place.

Perfect ending- gripping conclusion.
Forget Me Not is the thrilling conclusion to Max and Harpers story and picks up in the hospital, after Harpers hit and run accident, with her having lost the last two years’ worth of her memories. She doesn't know Max, doesn't remember where she is and panics about Sammie being left with strangers. In those first anxious moments she calls the one person she does remember, Tyler, the ex she ran from (not that she remembers that), telling him where she and Sammie are, kicking off all the drama and action to come.
The authors have written a conclusion that is full of drama, many anxious moments, and lots of emotion that will have you on the edge of your seat as it all unfolds.
They have mixed with the evil that is the ex and his actions, Harpers scattered memories, the love of found family and Max's conviction that these are his girls with him standing firmly beside them to prove it, in a way that is easy to read, well balanced and unquestioning. And thank you for Sammie, this kid and her lack of filter brightens up every scene she steals!
I would have liked to have seen some focus on who hit Harper, this for me was a loose thread that seemed to be glossed over, but a minor thing in an otherwise page turner of a conclusion. Loved it!

MAX IS NEXT LEVEL SWOONY!!! Seriously, where can I find a Max!? He’s protective, caring, and just everything. The way he loves and cares for not only Harper, but Sammie…..ovary explosion.

My heart fell to the floor at the end of book one and what happened to Harper. It also felt for Max and Sammie. It was a little rough in the beginning for them all, but thanks to Max, Sammie, the Holden family, and the rest of the Badger Creek crew Harper wasn’t going to go through any of this alone.

Max and Harper just fill my heart and soul with joy. These two are so perfect for each other and they are so easy to fall in love with. Sammie is still the sassy little scene stealer and she just brings even more joy to this story, even when things happening around her aren’t the easiest.

I am DYING to return to Badger Creek for Nick and Elissa’s story, because I have been dying for those two since the very start.

If you’re looking for a single mom, small town romance check this one out, but make sure you read book one first.

Oh my gosh!! This book broke my heart and slowly put it back together…

Harper wakes up after her accident and has no clue why she’s in a hospital room and no memory of the last 2 years. Max is by her bedside and she doesn’t even remember him! She begs him to bring her daughter to her. Once he does, she realizes her daughter is 4 now not 2 like from her memory. Battling why she’s in CA not FL or why she’s not with her baby daddy, she panics! She calls her abusive baby daddy and he flips out on her.

Max, friends and his family try to bring up memoirs or socials spots to bring up any memory but she can’t recognize anything. Then her baby daddy shows up and demands they go back to FL. Harper then realizes why she ran away from FL and then she gets a flashback of the first time meeting Max. Over time memories start popping back up but her baby daddy is now ready to do whatever he has to have control over Harper again.

Forget Me is book two of Max and Harper's duet and book six in the Badger Creek Duet Series. A two-part, slow-burn, single parent, new adult romance. Forget Me must be read before Forget Me Not in order to enjoy the full story.

This part starts off right where we left off from book one. Max is incredibly protective of both Harper and Sammie. He stands his ground and will not leave their side.

I have been dying to read this due to the major cliffhanger from part one. This book packed a punch. It will make you feel alll the dang emotions. This story wrapped up beautifully.

Oh my heart. This is part 2 of the Duet. After the way 1st book ended, I really wasn't prepared for this 😭. Claire really put me through an emotional roller coaster.
After the progress Max and Harper made in their beautiful relationship it was all lost within that one moment.
My heart hurt for Harper for losing 2 years of her life and maybe the best times of her love and for Max for losing his love. She couldn't remember him and yet this wonderful man still stood by her and Sammie. Even if she called the only person she remembers but is actually her worst nightmare.
As much as it hurt, it also mended the heart. With the found family showing support and help. With happy, funny moments. And with Max and Harper falling in love all over again. I love this series so far but these two just may be my favourite couple. Now I'm smiling like a goofball after that ending and epilogue.

After that ending in the first book, I waited desperately to see what was going to happen between Harper and Max now. I fell in love with the both of them and didn’t want to see this tragic accident tear them apart. But, boy oh boy, does Harper, Max and Sammie put my heart through the wringer in this conclusion of their incredible journey.

I was on the edge of my seat, biting my nails with anxiety and hoping that I would be able to keep the tears from falling. But nope, when Max shows moments of vulnerability and heartbreak with tears dripping down his face, there was no way I was going to be able to hold them back any longer.

This conclusion was amazing. It did have some darker parts to it and the intense last few chapters nearly killed me, but with that phenomenal epilogue my heart was soaring with so much love for this new found family.

jesus i need to take the week off to recover from this! i love max and harper so freaking much and this duet has easily become an all time favorite! this book absolutely ripped me heart out and then put it back together. i don’t think i’ve ever been on such an emotional roller coaster before. my heart broke for max and harper. i can’t even imagine what my life would be like if i was in their shoes. harper is an incredibly strong woman and you can see the love she has for sammie. i loved watching her navigate through what was happening and getting to see her slowly get herself back. and max is freaking incredible. he is insanely supportive, caring, patient and strong. he loves harper and sammie so much and would so clearly do anything for them. i cannot give this duet enough stars and kind words because there isn’t anything that can describe how amazing it is! please do yourselves a favor and read forget me and forget me not! you will not regret it!

thank you so much the author agency and claire raye for the arc!!! i will forever love max, harper and sammie!

Oh yes. This is the perfect second half to this duet series. The end of the last book left us hanging with Harper not remembering Max after her accident and seeing this book follow their journey back to finding each other, was so satisfying. So much of this book we couldn’t even fault Harper. She woke up in a strange place with strange people and the first thing she did is find what is familiar to her. This book is full of hope and love as Harper and Max find their groove again while also navigating parenting. Seeing Max be a stepdad to Sammie was so heart warming. The ending was wild and I didn’t see it coming to this extreme at all. These are characters that I will forever look forward to seeing again and again in future books because it feels way too sad to say goodbye to them after all of this. Such a good read! Highly recommend!

The aftermath of an accident has taken away the last couple of years of Harper’s life and she is struggling with the changes in her daughter Sammie and the fact that she doesn’t remember the lie she created in Badger Creek or Max.

Max is devastated that Harper doesn’t remember him or the love they shared but he isn’t about to give up. With everything he does and says he proves the depth of his love for her and when the danger from her past resurfaces there is nothing he and his family won’t do to keep her safe.

Your heart will break for what Harper and Max are going through and even though Harper’s mind couldn’t remember Max her heart does and their road back to each other is both romantic and heartwarming.

Such a wonderful ending to Harper and Max’s book. The story was filled with tension, and the characters were really great. I felt so bad for what Harper dealt with in the past and I’m so glad that Max didn’t give up, he remained determined throughout out which was so amazing to read about. Max has wonderful and supportive parents and they really welcomed Harper and Sammie into their family and made them feel like their one of their own.

Max and Sammie’s bond is so cute, I especially loved how she always just gravitated towards him and had so much love for him and vice versa. There’s a twist towards the end that made me anxious but it made the last few chapters more meaningful. Harper and Max definitely have something special and I’m so happy it all worked out in the end.

I completely devoured this book! I knew once I started it I wasn’t stopping till I finished it!
Book 2 starts right where book 1 leaves off with Harper waking up and having amnesia. She doesn’t remember anything from the last 2 years so she makes 1 phone call to a person she does remember that rocks everyone to their core.
Max…..man that man! He is there for everything! All the bumps, twists, turns and spirals he’s standing there strong through it all! The love he has for not only Harper but for Sammie too gahhh my heart 🩷🩷🩷!
Harper such a strong mama doing everything for she feels is right for her girl!

Absolutely phenomenal. The emotions this book pulled out of me, I don't have words to describe it!

I cried, I laughed (Sammie is adorable and I just love her), and I also swooned. Max and Harper don't have it easy, but man does this book show that life isn't easy but it's darn sure worth it. I wasn't prepared for the emotions I felt in this one. It was incredible, this entire duet was incredible.

Badger Creek is one of my favorite series from Claire Raye. I read this book in one sitting, it was 100% unputdownable! I am so ready for Nick and Elissa!!

Oh man I couldn't wait to read this conclusion. My heart was so sore for poor Max. I completely understood Harper's point, she couldn't remember so she couldn't help herself. But that first momenta in the hospital was agonizing. Poor Max.

But then my heart was breaking for Harper. Losing two years of your life and not knowing the man you loved. Loved that Max stood by her and wouldn't give up on her and Sammie.

Loved the story, loved these two and Sammie was a definite bonus to the story 💖🎉 Definitely Recommend this duet 💖💖

Can I say I cried reading this book? Yes, I did and I’m not ashamed of it. It broke my heart, but thankfully Miss Raye did a wonderful job with this book and put my heart back together.
Max is very patient in this book, Harper and Sammie are still his priorities, but while Harper is suffering from amnesia, somehow her past comes back into the picture. And that’s not something she thought would happen.
I found this a very emotional read, but I was so thankful for Sammie. She made things lighter and brighter.

This book has my emotions all over the place!

After the ending of the first book I was so eager to see how it turned out and I was not disappointed!

My heart broke for Harper in this book, the way she was so scared and helpless and didn't know who or what to do. But it also broke for Max because the woman he loved just didn't remember him or them😭

The found family in this book was a work of art 🥰 the way max works super hard to show Harper his love for not just her but her little girl too made me melt🩷

Forget Me Not picks up where Forget Me left us with a major cliffy. Max is truly heartbroken that Harper doesn’t remember who he is or the love they shared. Turning to the one she remembers, Harper brings the past she worked so hard to get away from back into her life. A past threatening to take all the love, hope, and security she fought so hard for, the new life she created for her daughter Sammie. Jam packed with all the feels this one will have you on the edge of your seat until the bitter end.
