Applied Calculus

As with the earlier editions, the author's objective in writing Applied Calculus, Third Edition, is to provide a textbook that is both readable by students and useful as a teaching tool for instructors. We hope that with this edition we have come one step closer to realizing our goal. The third edition incorporates many suggestions by users of the second edition and by reviewers of the third edition.
