In most books that focus on making doll-sized food, the creations aren't actually edible. Although I haven't actually tried any of the recipes myself, some of them do sound appetizing. However, there were a number of 'meals' in this book that required specific, brand name ingredients that may no longer be on the market. (I can't honestly remember if French Toast Crunch cereal is still made.) Also, a few of the recipes sounded a little too creative. I'm sorry, but putting mini scoops of fruit-flavored cream cheese on a Bugles snack and calling it an ice cream cone just doesn't work for me. But then, this book was intended for kids.
Did I like it? It was ok.
Would I reread it? Probably not.
Would I recommend it? Not sure.
