Noire is killing it! That is why she will always remain in my top 3 fave authors. Juicy has decided to come back to NY because her bff Rita needs her, what she doesn't know is it's a set up and someone is going down...down...downnnnn!!!
Wow, I mean ...where do I begin. So after all the mess with Gino's death Juicy confided in Rita for comfort and support. Rita had left her two sisters home in Harlem to be with Juicy when she needed her most and when her hot ass sister Nooni decides to skip school and hang out at the G-spot bells rang in Salida(Gino's Mother) & Monique's heads to get Juicy back to New York with G's money. They planned it out and had Nooni fucking with Pluto's nephew Truth. Long story short the planned worked out and after seconds of getting off the plane and claiming her baggage Juicy was ratted out to the NYPD by her very bestfriend, the one she was going to help out with the money she was carrying, RITA!
Now ain't this some bs! Juicy was having bad luck every way she turned. Lawd the connection between Juicy and Gino was very strong and I'm glad Pit got what his bullying ass deserved. Monique continued to irk my nerves and needed to get out her feelings. Noonie needed a old fashion ass cutting because she was too grown. So much could've been avoided had she followed the rules and not been so fast. I can honestly say I don't like Truth either and he's so brainwashed by Monique's trifling ass. At first I was glad Rita stepped up and went to visit Juicy while she was going through her pain. Once I hit the end I realized betrayal was at an all time high. To know you've been a very good friend and end up getting betrayed can shatter a person. Even those who consider themselves friends play the role so well that you never see the betrayal coming. I just hope Juicy is able to get herself out of her jam and stop being so trusting when it comes to those she once dealt with.
Great read yet again. noire done it again with the continuing of where Deadly Sin Pride ended. More on how you get to get into the characters that you haven't heard about since G Spot 1 with Juicy's friend back in New York Rita and the issues with her sister Noonie. Things with Gino was oh so sad and Monique still after getting what she want and that's Juicy no matter who she hunts with Salida plan in action she gets right down to it. With betrayal on the brain I was stocked at how kt all played out. Waiting for deadly sin 3 now.
Another great read by Noire...can't say I'm honestly suprised by peoples actions in the book, lies told, or how it ended, I for one am a severe pessimist and I already believe that most people would sell their sould if the price were right. I was very saddened by some of the events in the book, but I won't spoil it for anyone about to read. Noire did a sensational job....
I truly enjoyed reading this installment. I cried, got mad, just went thru a whole range of emotions while reading it. The title says it all by the time you reach the last page it makes so much sense.
This book was too good, I can't wait for the next one. I'm too excited to get home and read the next book in the series. All the betrayal man. Ohh, and I just hate Sallie.
