The Innovator's Toolkit is an excellent resource on how organizations can encourage innovation.
It starts defining innovation and how there's incremental and radical innovation. Then moves onto recognizing innovation and ideas and how to manage it in the early stages before moving into how to foster a creative environment.

It's an excellent resource and covers a lot of subjects regarding innovation without an added fluff. As of such, it becomes a great reference book.
