Kristi Upson-Saia is a Historian of Late Antiquity. She holds the David B. and Mary H. Gamble Professorship in Religious Studies at Occidental College, Los Angeles, California. She specializes in the history of medicine, health, and healing, and religions in the late ancient Mediterranean.
