THOUGHTS
Casey is always nervous around Andre whenever he shows up at the PR firm that represents him. Andre is a bad boy Italian millionaire. Casey is shy and simple, and always finds herself fantasizing about Andre. We surely got a teaser with her fantasizing about Andre. This is not a book or novella; it's a introduction/ prelude to the author's already out book Asking for Andre. Although it was a teaser I was a little disappointed it was short, should have been a freebie. However, the author gave us a brief chapter of the book Asking for Andre in Casey's Night In. Did the prelude accomplish what it set out to do? Yes, a little, will keep book on my to read list.

Story: FAIR Teaser
Intimacy: GOOD Teaser
Ebook length: 845

SUMMARY of ASKING for ANDRE by Author

Andre Lavin lives life in the fast lane and the pampered Italian playboy isn’t used to being denied. Anything. Which makes his attraction to the shy, hauntingly beautiful Cassandra Michaels even more frustrating. She’s unimpressed by his flashy lifestyle and his every attempt to get closer seems to drive her further away. Until he overhears her whispered wish for sex lessons. In Casey’s experience, rich, handsome men don’t fall for girls like her, but there’s nothing to stop her from enjoying a fling. All she needs is one night to find out what she’s been missing and then she can go back to her boring, predictable life. One night to touch and be touched, and she can leave with her heart intact.

The first part of this book is a prologue of Casey's story and it only takes about 20% of this already very short book. I want to get my problems with the book out of my way first. The main one being that Casey is locked in an embrace with Andre (the Italian Stud) and while there getting foreplay out of the way Andre is on one page described as such. "He stopped briefly to pull his shirt off over his head", so they are now skin to skin.

Pretty hot right? The following chapter, a page later, Casey is said to take the reins and now promises to take off Andre's clothes and this time in the same scene it reads, " his shirt was already unbuttoned but she pushed the edges of the material down his arms and tugged it off." That's a pretty neat trick considering his shirt was already removed. LOL. It's annoying because this part of the story is only like 10 pages long. There should have been no problem ensuring the story was accurate. I'm not sure what was up with that.

Now on to what I liked. The story is about a 26 year old receptionist that has hots for a client. She is all thumbs when he comes around. She is continually spilling things on herself, on the floor by his feet. I mention this because I laughed at her attempt to clean up her dumped pens or pencils. I'm not sure what it was she knocked over because what I do remember was her being eye to eye with Andre's crotch and hears him choke back what sounds like laughter. Busted...priceless!

Now while she's stumbling about she lacks the notice that he is starring her down at every free moment. Her friends are telling her that he likes her and is ogling her. He can have any woman he wants and is constantly being chased by the press and dates super models. So why would he want her? Andre however is determined to spend some time out of the office with her to ask her out. Well he gets his shot and they meet outside work so to speak and they both let there emotions lead but will it be what they both want?

The cliffhanger at the end of this book is such that I was ready to race to the next book. Guess what? Amazon does not carry this book any longer or it's sequel. Are you kidding me? I got this book when it appeared on Amazons free list but am now left with a book that I started that I won't get to finish. I encourage the author to fix this problem to satisfy her fans. I seen on her page where others have been inquiring as well.

I really think this book is a guilty pleasure book. There appears to be just lust in the beginning but ladies it is hot. Then we begin to see the conversation between Andre whispering in Cassandra's ear(rolling the "R" at the end of her name)that she is so much different and wants to know her better. She claims to only want a one night stand but my feelings are that she is following the advice of her friend and it is making her feel like a slut. She is very inexperienced and I think because he agrees to the one night together she's afraid of losing her heart to him.

Nothing is for certain because I am left dangling in the wind Minx Malone. Please fix whatever the problem so I can find out what Andre's story is. The book ends and in the same paragraph stating it's now available on Amazon but it's not. There is some graphic scenes in this read and the chemistry is sizzling IMO. I think there is a bit of a Christian Grey in Andre. I don't know if he's into any," Kinky Fu*ktery" but I truly hope so. LMBO

Summary of Asking for Andre
Andre Lavin lives life in the fast lane and the pampered Italian playboy isn't used to being denied. Anything. Which makes his attraction to the shy, hauntingly beautiful Cassandra Michaels even more frustrating. She's unimpressed by his flashy lifestyle and his every attempt to get closer seems to drive her further away.
Until he overhears her whispered wish for sex lessons.
In Casey's experience, rich, handsome men don't fall for girls like her, but there's nothing to stop her from enjoying a fling. All she needs is one night to find out what she's been missing and then she can go back to her boring, predictable life. One night to touch and be touched, and she can leave with her heart intact.
Or can she?
Because although Andre is more than ready to teach her anything she asks, he isn't willing to ever let her go.
Reader Advisory:
This book contains an Italian playboy used to getting his way, sex on the balcony at a party, a scandalous proposal in a penthouse and a sassy Russian sidekick. Did I mention sex? Lots of sex.
You've been warned.

Review
I love this book, to think a man with so much power could be brought to his knee’s by a mere receptionist, it’s great, it is your typical romance book, except for the fact the sex is way hotter, the charisma from Andre Lavin our hero, is all consuming, makes me hope for the day someone like that walks into my life, lol, even though I am happily married, the way it was written made me hear every syllable he said in his Italian accent, melts. Casey is your typical dormouse until her friend takes her shopping and changes the way she looks at herself, she opens herself up to the knowledge that Andre likes her a lot, The sex in this book was hot, I loved her best friend Anya, she was the light entertainment in this book, she had some classic one liners, I loved all the books that Minx has written, this is no exception, 5/5

I thought this was a great prequel to get you interested in reading Asking for Andre. I originally read the synopsis for AfA, before reading Casey's, and couldn't really decide if I wanted to read it or not. I loved reading about Mya and Milo in Beg for It and really wasn't sure if I wanted to read about other characters within their universe. If I hadn't read Casey's Night In then I never would've read AfA and I'm so glad I did.

I thought this was a great introduction into Casey's mild obsession with Italian heartthrob Andre Lavin. Having been only mildly introduced to Andre through Beg for It, I thought this was a great way to actually get the reader excited about reading about him and Casey. Although this story was very short I enjoyed it immensely. The entire sex scene between Casey and Andre was very steamy and erotic and I loved that even though Casey has been fantasizing about him for quite some time, she doesn't just want sex from him. She wants HIM in general.

I actually would've only given this story 4 stars because of its length but Minx did it the right way by adding in the first two chapters of AfA at the end of Casey's. To be honest, it was really reading those first two chapters that got me to purchase AfA. I gave this read 5 stars because of the author's willingness to introduce the third part of the story at the end of this one to get you interested before going out and purchasing it. What a great way to encourage new readers to seek out your work, I love it when authors do that!

If you haven't read Minx's other work you definitely need to! I suggest reading the entire Mirage Agency series starting with the first one, Beg for It. But don't forget to read Teasing Trent as well. It is a stand alone story without any prequels or sequels and has been one of my favorite erotica stories to date.

I have loved everything by Malone so far! Keep up the erotic work you Minx!

Casey works as a receptionist for an advertising company, and she has the biggest crush on their biggest client, Italian fashion designer Andre Lavin. Everything points to him being smitten with her as well, but she refuses to see it. Handsome, rich, powerful men like him just don't fall for the plain Janes like her. Or so she thinks.

A night out at the company gala, a few too many glasses of champagne, one sexy Italian, a dark balcony and the accidental voicing of her thoughts about wanting love lessons and Andre seizes the opportunity. He proposes to show her everything she's missing. They share a scorching hot encounter on the balcony, but before he can tell her he wants more than just a fling, she runs from him. She's mortified that her actions could have been discovered by her co-workers at any time and cost her her job. Luckily for her Andre doesn't give up easily.

This Amazon freebie led me to buy Asking for Andre by Minx Malone where we get the full story of how their attraction developed and whether or not it led anywhere. This was a very short read, but I thought it was sexy and charming, and I really wanted to read more of Andre.

My Review:
This novella features Casey, the receptionist at the Mirage Advertising Agency where they have been working on a large PR campaign for Andre Lavin, Italian Fashion Designer.

This is a seriously short little novella that let's you know where Casey's head is as far as what she wants and needs from Andre. From reading this, I am thinking that Asking for Andre is going to be really hot. Just a fabulous way to intro into the main story. I honestly didn't see where this story was going and when it became obvious, I had a little giggle. Erotic with a capital "E." Yup, she definitely wants him! Now onto the main event. It will be fun to see how things play out between Casey and Andre.

Well …what to say about this one? It was pretty damn craptastic!

I guess with these sexy stories, especially when they are itty bitties there isn’t going to be much character development…but this one seriously lacked everything.

The entire story was told in a dream. Only you didn’t know it until the very end of the story when she woke up. What made it worse was that it just wasn’t sexy or erotic in anyway, kind of the same old run of the mill romance story.

I want STEAM, PASSION, UNPREDICATABLE SEXINESS………oh well…hopefully the next one will work it’s magic….

This is a short story so for that reason consistency shouldn't be hard to achieve. Yet I was amazed to find that there didn't appear to be any. In the first few pages someone has to translate what Andre is saying to Casey, yet when he shows up at her house he has no problem speaking English to her, but that's ok because as it turns out it's all a dream. That really isn't the point though, in fact there isn't much point to the story at all. I am not tempted to read any more of the authors books, I might just watch paint dry instead!

Alright, I'll admit, I decided to read this to bump up my read books number for the year. That being said, it wasn't horrible for an erotic novella. It wasn't good either though. The inconsistencies were a bit annoying (how many times is this guy going to have the same shirt taken off? I think I counted three times!) and the ending was just stupid (what? It was a dream? Please...). If you're looking for a short sex scene, then here you go. If you're looking for anything else, look elsewhere.

Timeline issues and it uses a plot device that I don't care for. By far, the awkward, jerky progression through the scenes were the most distracting part of the story.

I was just thinking that this was really good for a short teaser story and it ended. I felt bad for the make believe character, how frustrating. :o Will have to get the following novel after holiday shopping is finished. Thanks for sharing.
