Ngl, I remember some usual wattoad plots while reading this one but, of course, this book is beautifully written. I had a hard time putting down this book as soon as I started.
Loved the characters, especially the ending. I really thought that the FL won't be able to forgive the ML because let's admit it, the ML acted a bit too harsh and he has his reasons. Good reasons, actually. I liked how the author justified the character's actions. The good thing about the book is that how ML managed to win her back. Oh god, I'm crying! Loved this one! Loved this to the marrow of my bones.

I have always been a huge Judith McNaught fan and began reading her books just as soon as she wrote them and were on the bookshelves in stores. Needless to say, I've reread every single one of her books over and over just because they are such feel good books. Judith has a real talent/art for writing which draws you in so much so that you feel as if you are one with the story unfolding. Double Standards is truly a treasure to read. It's one book that I read every Christmas. It feels real, the storyline could be real.
I am amazed...not only Judith is good with historical romance but she's good in modern day love story too. amazingly, this story never failed to make me cry no matter how many times I've read it. Thanks for making such an great story
