Medium Concetta Bertoldi answers all your questions about life after life

. . . from the irreverent:
(If the dead are always with us, do they have a XXX view of my bedroom?)

. . . to the poignant:
(Will my deceased father be with me when I walk down the aisle on my wedding day?)

. . . to the heartfelt:
(When loved ones leave this life too early or under tragic circumstances, are they eternally heartbroken or can they find peace in heaven?)

Concetta Bertoldi has been communicating with the "Other Side" since childhood. My aunt read this book last year to help her deal with the death of her son, my cousin, in Iraq. Since then it has been making the rounds in my family and my mom just passed it on to me. There are few conversations about my cousin that do not involve tears, but when my aunt, my mother and I discussed this book, there were only tears of joy. This book and the information it contains has been a comfort to us, as i'm sure it is to anyone who has lost someone dear to them. It is hard not to be a little skeptical of mediums, but the book is presented in a way that the information about the "Other Side" is so positive, that you really just want to believe. And isn't that the point anyway? Regardless of whether every single thing the author says is true, if the book brings comfort to those in pain, and alleviates the fear of the mystery surrounding life after death, then I think it is a successful book.

This book doesn't quite live up to the title. It does provide a nice philosophy for those people who have lost loved ones, and I believe that it would be nice to believe that Dead People watch you shower.

While reading the book, I did try one of the suggestions for talking to dead people. I put the book down, and called to my Grandma, who died 8 years ago. Right at that moment, the door to our bathroom slammed shut. My daughter had gotten out of bed to use the bathroom.

I am sure that the author would tell me that that was my Grandma telling me that everything is OK. I think it was a coincidence.

But there may be strange things in the universe.

Yes, they do!

A nice compendium of questions that cover just about everything you’d want to know about the other side and your loved ones there, answered by a renowned medium. A wide breadth of questions are covered as succinctly and as honestly as possible. This makes it a quick but comforting read.

I found it to be of great solace and would recommend it to anyone who has recently lost a loved one as did I when I read it.

Knowledge is power.
The knowledge you can learn from this book (whether you choose to believe it) has the power to heal, to comfort, to better your life...

I started getting into this subject after watching Long Island Medium on TLC (love that show), and I've always wanted to know more. The author not only answers so many questions I've been wanting to know, but she answers questions that just open your eyes and your mind to things you never thought possible. I guess I always believed in the whole spirits, soul, karma, life after death type spiel, but I think I never whole heartedly believed in it till recently.

I feel like this book (although I just got done reading it a couple days ago) has impacted my life. It has changed the way I want to try and live my life, how I view the people around me, and also enlightened me more about God. I guess you can say that the author giving me more insight on the love of God is why I'm starting to view life differently. Like I said, knowledge is power... But I guess I should've had more faith too huh?..

Concetta has a sense of humor that makes the reading fun and I love how she has so many stories about her clients. This book definitely gave me (guess I can only speak for myself) comfort in knowing that our loved ones are still with us. It really is a gift in knowing my sister, my favorite uncle (haha seriously), and my good friend Travis are happy on the other side watching over me. Of course that triggered tons of questions like when are they with me? omg did they watch me have sex with my boyfriend I've only been with for 3 weeks? (lol jk........) what do they think of me? etc... In which Concetta is able provide satisfactory answers. Am I skeptical about some of the subjects and answers? Yes. And I also have more questions I'm still very curious about. But this book had more than enough information for me to feel like I trust the authors knowledge and genuality.

I really can go on and on about this book, you really just have to read it for yourself. I'm sure not everyone will have the same reaction and influence that this book had on me, but if you're willing to go into it with an open mind then it's definitely worth the read. Now that I read this book... I WANT A READING! Lol

I really enjoyed the question and answer format and found she confirmed what many other mediums say about being in your physical body to learn certain predetermined lessons and to help others in their journey. I really liked that she believes the souls of your loved ones wait for everyone else to get there before returning for another journey. I get through each day knowing I will see my son again so I found her messages very comforting.

Love, love, love this one! Mediums really fascinate me - I am always curious on how they view their gift, how religion fits in their life (if it does at all - and for this author, it does), how they receive messages and the kind of things the "see".
The Q&A format is so easy to read, gets right to the point and shed light on so many questions I have always wondered about.
If you are curious, definitely read this book. It will make you feel good all over.

Everyone has different beliefs about spirituality, religion and the afterlife -- or what happens after we die, but we all have many of the same questions about them. In this book, Concetta Bertoldi explores the biggest mysteries we'd like to have unraveled about souls and what happens to them in the hereafter. She gives fresh, funny insight into her own life and work as a medium, and offers good perspective and ideas about what it means to believe in today's world.

She also gives us some great (and timely) advice at the end:

"Any Final Words of Wisdom?
'Have confidence. You only need to believe in yourself. You have everything you need to have everything you want. Believe it. You need to keep things in perspective in this lifetime and appreciate what you have. You can't focus on what you don't have or what you feel is wrong in your life. And if I could tell you just one thing that will make the biggest improvement in the quality of your life and in the lives of everyone around you, it is this: SMILE!'"

Seems that we are all part of a hive mind. We lose our right to feel a certain way and lose opinions because everything is all-loving. we seem not to be allowed to even judge ourselves. We are "forced" to forgive everyone and love everyone in order to be "one with god." To me, it sounds like the individual is gone and I am simply a pawn of god. Two souls who wish to " remained married" for the lack of a better term in the afterlife are not allowed. we (like it or not) love everyone equally, so really we can't even express our own unique love in the way we want it. WE ALL FEEL THE SAME THING. NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE.
Freewill is a joke. The Other side is certainly pathetically limited. We can play physical activities but sex is a no-no? Eating too? The book doesn't even explain why we even want to learn and expand our spiritual evolution. The Other Side personally sounds like hell to me. I can't even be myself in there. I can't see how i can even express my personality in there. No answers really answered.
And yes, apparently dead people watch you shower. Also if you die and your spouse replaces you with a secret lover in your funeral, you will feel happy about that :) no matter what kind of individual you are. How demeaning.

A good book......but I'm not a fan of the question/answer format. Also, the author is clearly not a writer, but I did enjoy reading about what she does. I read this book in preparation to see Concetta at a group event, so when I went, I felt like I knew her a little bit, which was neat.

I was hoping this book would be just as funny as the title, but it had a bit more of a serious quality. There were some funny parts and some parts that made me reflect on life and losing loved ones. Mostly it was an interesting look into Bertoldi's life as a medium.

This was a kinda weird book, actually. I read it because I was bored, and yes, it did keep me from getting bored. I think my problem with the book was that it dealt with death too much.

This is a tricky one for me to give a review on !
I have read other books on the afterlife, spirituality etc so nothing that Concetta wrote was new to me.

I was really… really excited to read this as I thought there would be lots of questions similar to those that I would like answering.
I’ve been to readings an at the end when they ask “Do you have any questions”?! I always seem to freeze up or I feel like I’m being cheeky or the fact that I didn’t think they were very good so it’s pointless to ask, so this to me was the next best thing.
So that’s why I’ve been left disappointed because I didn’t learn one bit of new information, there’s got to be over 100 questions in there too !
If I would of read this book first then I would most probably give it 5 stars an think it was brilliant, but I have to be truthful.

Concetta Bertoldi seems like an excellent medium, she thoroughly enjoys what she does and she thrives on helping others, she never sounds condescending or like she knows something that you don’t know, even though she knows more than any of us could ever imagine knowing.
I wish I lived in America so I could have a reading with her !
If your interested in the afterlife an you don’t already know much about it then read this, you’ll be so happy you did.

This book was referred to me by a friend who actually had a conversation with the author and communicated with her dead loved ones. I have always been interested, but unsure about this kind of thing because of my religious upbringing. This sort of this was “the devil”.

I believe my friend. Wholeheartedly. I believe the the author can communicate with spirits and I think it has to be a difficult but rewarding gift.

I’m not sure about the order of the spirits and having jobs to do but I’m still open to learning more.

The book is in Q&A form which I wasn’t a fan of at first but can see how this style helps in organizing the many subjects and answering the most common answers.

In all honesty, hearing about the conversation with my friend and then reading this book has helped me to decide that I will indeed seek out a medium to hopefully connect with my parents.

Perfect Timing

I cant thank Concetta enough. This book came at the time me and my wife needed it most. I recently lost my father in law who i loved dearly. Since his passing i been contiplating what happen after death and my own mortality, I always understood that we are not this body but everlasting soul that is reborn over and over until the cycle is complete. In my father in law passing my wife has been grieving desperately and it hurts to watch her breakdown daily from his passing. After reading this wonderful book which came at no coincidence ...it has help put answers and help a little to know he is in a better place and that we will meet again in the after life... This book.has help us greatly in grieving...Thank you god bless

(Reread.) I first read this book years ago when it came out, having lost several older relatives in the preceding couple of years. I found it tremendously comforting. Now I picked it up again, having lost yet another contemporary. (Alas, those seem to happen more often now.) I guess I wanted to know that everything was all right with my friend on The Other Side.

Bertoldi does not disappoint. Her pop culture references are dated, but she is still a delightful, often hilarious narrator. I suppose I got a little more out of it with the passing years, building upon a belief system that her insights, I am sure, contributed to all those years ago. A lot of stuff toward the end was a bit too woo woo even for me, but in any case Bertoldi provides a salve for the grieving heart.

If you've ever wondered if spirits are real, if your loved ones and friends have passed on but are still "living", then this is the book you should read. Concetta is a medium who has connected many people with their loved ones on the "other side". Her stories and answers to many questions most of us have asked are answered truthfully from her experiences, but also done with humor. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and feel it has opened my eyes to many things I've felt were real, but was never truly sure.

A good read that will keep you turning the pages to find the answers to so many afterlife questions.

Amazing book! It's written in a easy to read question and answer format with down to earth (no pun intended) language accessible by anyone. I thought it was going to be more along humorous lines based on the title, but it's not. Bertoldi, a medium, gives honest answers to many questions we all have regarding what happens to us, where do those who have died go, what's it like, can we talk to them, and so on. Her responses are based on her experiences and what she has come to believe. Their is nothing new-agey or over the top here, no crystal ball or any of that. I was surprised to find it comforting and hopeful. I recommend it to anyone who is curious or just misses someone.

Given to me as a gift - during the passing of my sister - a colleague had given this to me. While not a believer in the visions/messages of a medium, I have to say I was fascinated with the question and answers given in this book. In retrospect, this allows you to ask alot of questions of your own life after seeing the messages and information that Concetti Bertoldi provides in the pages of this novel. Interesting read, and not something I would purchase on my own, but I can't say it was not a fascinating read!

What a delightful find! I’ll admit, the title got me. But it was so much more than silly questions. It was so deep and insightful. I see how comforting this book could be to someone who has lost a loved one. I’ll have to recommend this book and remember to come back to it when I have doubts about The Other Side. I believe in this woman. She seems like the real deal and I appreciate the comfort she gave me and the encouragement to live my best life.

I had heard about Concetta’s clairsentient abilities years ago on television, and just a couple of weeks ago, I randomly saw her feature on an Instagram Live session for Unplug Meditation. This book is written in FAQ format; it’s very anecdotal, succinct at times, and introduces the reader to the basics of clairsentience. I found the content to be very aligned with eastern philosophies. It gave me a sense of peace in everything being cyclical and formative.

I enjoyed this--mainly because of Bertoldi's sense of humor--even though I didn't really learn anything new. Well, except she claims that people who kill others are punished on the Other Side by being kept away from "God," something I've seen contradicted elsewhere. I wish she'd gone into more detail on that. Do soldiers who kill during wartime count? How about loved ones who have life support shut off loved ones? Women who choose to abort fetuses? None of those seem fair, if so.

First, this was such as fun book to read! Second, I wish I knew Concetta in real life. She seems like a sweetheart and firecracker in equal measure.

I accidentally happened upon a podcast interviewing her (never heard of her before), which made me look up the book. It's a very fast, engaging read. It's set up in question and answer format.

It's fun book. Even if you're a skeptic, you might enjoy this :)

This is a fun quick read, a look behind the scenes at the life of a medium.

There are no real answers to be found if that's what you're looking for, only the author's impressions and feelings. It's more about Bertoldi's life experiences than anything else, but it could be both comforting and inspirational for those who've suffered the recent loss of a loved one.

I had a visit from the other side.

I ordered this book hoping to understand a little bit more about the other side after having a "visit" I initially tried to ignore. I think the book makes sense and I am glad I read it.

This is a book written in a question and answer format. The medium seems creditable. I liked it and although it is not particularly deep, it gives a reader something to think about, especially if you have lost someone near and dear to you.

Understanding loss

This book helped me deal with the loss of my youngest daughter,27, to an overdose, as I read the very first chapters.
The rest I already knew, amusing, indeed.
Highly recommend it.
