Probably more of a 3.5 but I thought I'd round up.

It was a goodish ending as it wrapped up the current story nicely

This wasn't the best book in the series but it is still an enjoyable read and I'm sure kids would love it.

All in all a good series for a child that likes a bit of fantasy and/or action.

I read these when I was 6/7 and they were amazing. Sophie is the reason I started taekwondo. I was recommending this to a kid and decided to take a look at the Goodreads. It brought back so many memories, including the . So yeah, if you have a kid or want to read a childrens book, I recommend this series. It has a strong heroin, and a great story line. The perfect fantasy for young readers.
