As the president of the Sons of Hell Motorcycle Club, I resolved myself to living my life alone. I’d been down the marriage market before and vowed never again. I had my brothers, the club and all the willing women I could ever want. My life was perfect.
Until the letter came.
Known for our special projects, the Sons of Hell wasn’t just any biker club. Oh, we dabbled in the dark underbelly and got our hands dirty like everyone else but my club, well… we were different. Comprised of ex-military, the Sons of Hell was a real brotherhood, not just in name. When the club receives a letter from a former brother asking for help, I don’t think twice before agreeing to help.
That was until I met the very young, snarky and biggest pain in the ass I ever met. Oh, and she just happened to be the new tattoo artist in town and the reason for the letter.
No one knew who I was, and I needed to keep it that way. I may be young, but I have a past just like everyone else. Only my past is hunting me. Starting over in the small town of Rosewood, Virginia, I stupidly thought I could hide away and live out my life free of my nightmares.
Boy, was I wrong.
The second King walked into my shop and busted my balls, it was on like Donkey Kong. I may be small and new to town, but I was no pushover. I didn’t get the name Venom because of my sweet personality. When King and his merry band of misfits seem determined to disrupt my life, I am left with no choice, either play along or make their lives a living hell.
I wasn’t raised to be a pushover, so I planned to give as good as I got.
The Sons of Hell M.C. is a light, funny, enemy to lover, age-gap romance that is sure to tickle anyone’s fancy.
Each book in this series is a stand-alone and ends with a happily ever after.
There are NO TRIGGERS in this book, but understand it is an M.C. book, so there are moments of gunfire and death. There is foul language, and the sex is very descriptive.
If you are looking for a light, enjoyable read, then get ready for a crazy ride because the Sons of Hell are here for your enjoyment.
Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Trope: enemies to lovers Angst: 😱 Smexy: 🔥🔥
This was my first Rebecca Joyce book and it was definitely entertaining! A little eye roll-y, but it definitely held my interest to the end with a bit of action and some laugh out loud moments. Ill definitely be checking out other books in the series!
Well I managed until 73% not bad really considering.
Whats wrong? Well its a mills n boon biker book filled with everything corny, predictable, formulaic, insta love, virgin etc that this trope has sadly decended into. I mean its so hard to find a decent biker book nowadays, theyre all this churned out- let's jump on the bandwagon tripe!!
I feel like shouting at all these authors and saying read Joanne whylde, madeleine sheehan, Lauren gilley, bink cummings, Jamie begley, tillie Cole ffs, then write your own biker book.
These two together are funny. Bailey is a strong woman and stands up for herself, definitely a "don't take no sh!t" kind of Lady.
King is a man that likes things his way. When he says "you're mine" he means it.
Even though danger was lurking and taken care of, you can't help but laugh out loud with stuff that goes on. Especially like the tattoo Bailey gave Scribe.
TROPES 📌Age Gap romance 📌 Ex-milirary Hero 📌 Motorcycle Club Setting
My POV
👉 Not a kind of read I was expecting it to be. Hero was a freaking irritating man child for most of the book. The transition from hate to love to hate and back to love was rather abrupt.
👉 Meh.. It was my first MC read and fairly dissapointing. It's a pretty easy read nothing major happening all together. You will read a few lines and snort. Nothing less nothing more. Kinda blend if you ask me.
👉 I hate the number of times the herobsays "MY WOMAN", like in every other sentence 😒 🙄.
👉 The heroine is a wierd bitchy woman for no read.
👉 The only thing going for the book is it's sarcasm and the bond with side characters. 🫶🫶🫶
This is the first book in a new series and this is King and Bailey / Venom's story. This is a well written easy to read, action action packed story, with found family, friendships, emotions, humour, witty banter, challenges, secrets, suspense, intrigue, hilarious antics, undeniable chemistry, and love, which all leads to an entertaining, and captivating page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Bailey was a firecracker. She literally fought every one who made her mad including the Pres 🤣 I love her so much. I hope in future books she is still kicking butt and causing chaos because that would be Beautiful
When you see the cover.....that's the best part of this book. I found this book completely boring. Seriously watching paint dry would be more entertaining than reading this book. Shirley
🏍️ 1%ers 🏍️ age gap 🏍️ MC President 🏍️ virgin FMC 🏍️ enemies to lovers 🏍️ dual POV
i really hope no one reads this as their first MC book bc i think they would be really confused and also be turned off from other MC books. nothing was explained about MC life/the lingo (also cut sluts was a new one for me. hated it, lol.) and if you don’t anticipate the MMC to be an alphahole, especially an over the top alphahole, i can see ppl hating it.
but i also have a lot of questions: 1. how did Bailey and Jaimie know how to shoot a gun so well? 2. how was Bailey’s 🐱 ok to have a continuous night of sex after losing her virginity? 3. where did Bailey go for those few weeks she disappeared? 4. what happened to the FBI coming after King and the club bc of the 4 babies they saved? did the babies make it back to their families? 5. did anyone else feel weirded out that Scribe pretended to be gay??? and then abused Bailey’s trust by letting him see her naked multiple times bc she thought he was gay??? him being a voyeur doesn’t give him a pass… also when did they become best friends??? 6. what happened to the rest of Havoc’s club in California? 7. what happened to the dead body that was in Bailey’s tattoo shop? i know he was sent by Bailey’s grandmother, but it was never explained the club process of getting rid of bodies. 8. how did Bailey beat up the club girls when she had 3 broken fingers/a cast??? 9. where did Bailey and King move in together at? especially with a baby? did they live at the clubhouse? 10. why did King allow his ex wife to call him his government name and not King? 11. also Jaimie was just magically ok and could become a Prospect for the club? more needed to explain about how diagnose/new diagnose/the changes that happened while he was the facility in Arizona 12. what was that storyline about King’s perfect and unattainable woman? was that supposed to be a thing or was that replaced with the storyline with his ex wife? or are they both supposed to be a thing? bc the perfect unattainable woman was never brought up again so i feel like that was completely unnecessary…. 13. how did King know Bailey was a virgin when it was never discussed? 14. i probably have more, but these are what came at the top of my head while writing all this
the book was also confusing to follow at times and you ended up somewhere else without a clear enough transition. sometimes it was hard to tell who was talking and and then at one point the POV changes without an indication that it did. the timeline of things also was weird and at one point we lost 6 weeks of times which didn’t make sense bc it didn’t seem like that long of time had passed.
in the end, there was so much going on in this book, i wish it was longer and the details flushed out better.

The writing was good. The premise was good. The characters... not so much!
Let me start with King... he is your typical alphahole. He thought he could just railroad Bailey into doing what he wanted. The thing is that it should be tempered with a soft, loving, protective side. Unfortunately, Bailey is a raging harpy. I believe if Bailey wasn't such a pain, he would have demonstrated a much more loving and caring side.
Now for Bailey/Venom. Oy, that woman could drive a saint to drink. I am the first one to admit that there is nothing better than a strong FMC that does not have body betrayal syndrome. Unfortunately, that is not the case with Bailey. When she wasn't being a total and complete nightmare, she had body betrayal. Seriously, she was a very unlikable character. She never gave an inch unless she was experiencing body betrayal. Look, nothing wrong with starting off tough, but breaking down walls and coming together as a couple is what should be happening. Yes, I believe an alpha male needs to be brought down a peg or two, but not the way she did. She shredded King every chance she got. It was exhausting and not believable that a man as strong-willed as King would not throttle her.
Like I said, the writing was good, and so was the premise, but Bailey, in particular, was just too much and really destroyed the book for me. I'll try Gunner next, and hopefully, we won't get a hellcat as a FMC.
Two fiery, headstrong personalities clash. Its a clash of the titans - and neither will accept defeat.
From the start, King and Venom are at loggerheads. In fairness, King 100% asks for the attitude from Venom. How the man is able to feet both feet in his mouth at the same time, while thinking he is the wrong party is honestly impressive.
Expect to dislike King for a good portion of the book… I love me a possessive, alphahole as much as the next girl bit he takes it to whole new levels. He does get his redemption, and a change in tactics, which I doubt he would ever admit too.
Venom is an awesome woman. I loved her strength and self assurance- even if she did hold on to her misguided notions a little too long for a smart person.
The fireworks outside the bedroom translate to a whole lot of spice in the bedroom.
All round a great read. Looking forward to reading the rest of the merry band of misfits’ stories.
Wow what a delightful story this was to read. I am so enjoying these books by Rebecca Joyce, they have just the right amount of everythning in the book for a must read story. And i have to admit i really loved seeing Bailey take down those women, i just had to do a laugh. King is the president of the Sons of Hell MC. He gets a letter from Dog asking him to look after his daughter, however his daughter is right under his nose and her tattoo name is Venom. A well known tattoo artist with people lined up for months. Bailey and King clash when they first met, and it seems she dosnt trust king when he says he president..... someone is coping him. It takes a while for Bailey to trust King and in between let me tell you there are a few laughs to be had.
A must read i really think you will enjoy all these.
King is prez of Sons of Hell, he is Jessica Kellen’s uncle. An X member of his club writes him a letter asking him to look after his daughter they can’t not do it especially as said former brother, Dog, died the day after posting it. King fobbed that job on to his younger brother Pyro but didn’t realise the new tattooist in town is Dog’s daughter and she’s not any tattooist she pretty famous, She also takes instant dislike to King and mouths him when he goes in the shop so he storms off. Bailey aka Venom is hilarious and she drives King insane with her Gobbyness and sarcasm, once she get together with Jessica it gets even funnier they are a proper double act . It takes all King has to wear Bailey down and it’s fun to ‘watch’ the story unfold
OMG I love Bailey, people in the tattoo world and the club brothers use her nickname Venom, King calls her his cupcake but he should call her the devils food cake cause that girl is crazy wild. She doesn’t take any disrespect and if you get in her face your 5 seconds from being flat on your back. Even King has been brought to his knees by her. King is the Alpha President of the Sons of Hell MC and a force to be reckoned with. No woman will ever own him but lol 😂 into his life comes Bailey and he’s knocked for a six. I love them as a couple ❤️❤️❤️ all the guys from the MC sound fantastic and I can’t wait to read their books, especially Scribe’s, I love him too. This is a must read, 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really enjoyed this story! King is the president of the MC and has sworn off love after his disaster of a marriage. Then Venom shows up in his town. Venom is an awesome FMC. She's had a very rough life. She left home and becomes a tattoo apprentice. She becomes a well known artist and decides to leave her troubles California behind for a small town in Virginia. Venom and King bump heads alot in the beginning, both stubborn and having trust issues. But in the end they are the perfect match for each other! I really enjoyed the humor mixed in to this story, can't wait for Scribe to get his story! Excited to see where this series goes! I highly recommend this story!
Another author who cannot write a strong woman without giving her too many masculine traits and attitudes. She was very immature, a brat, crude, uncouth and just very annoying to read about. King was an overbearing alphahole who also acted very immature for being in his 40's. He was very sketchy on consent and at one point wanted "to beat her ass". There was no humor, no real relationship developed it was all them fighting and arguing. It got very boring and tiresome. The club girl drama was ridiculously over the top and most of it was not necessary. It was used as another way to demonstrate how masculine Venom/Bailey was.
I love it when female characters have a back bone! Venom takes no crap and King has to learn to handle her. It’s easy to fall in love with King. I read this book in a day, but I had it a little longer. I had to go back and read her other MC series The Golden Skulls. This could be read as a stand-alone but for me I have to know what’s going on, when I see other characters and Im missing something. The Golden Skulls did not disappoint! Read them and then read this because they are all amazing! You will not be disappointed! 10 stars!

King swore off love, his club was the family he needed and would do anything for. When a letter arrives from a foer brother, asking for help, he agrees no questions asked but when he meets Bailey (Vemom) his lifes about to find a spark he didn't know as missing. Bailey found success as a tattoo artist but also has a past that's haunting her, and now finds herself with the protection of King, wether she wants it or not. Well written steamy age gap, MC romance, engaging read and well developed characters, a great start to the series
I absolutely fell in love with this book. Like ignored my responsibilities and read for the day. I really appreciated the plot and the thought that was put into each character. I loved the way they developed the relationship with King and Bailey - and even though he’s all alpha she gives as good as she gets. I’m also loving how the other characters romance are developing. So so good!

King an alpha biker Prez who’s done with relationships, meets Venom the new tattooist in town, who has her secrets and her name matches her personality. To say she gives King a run for his money is an understatement. The book is packed with loads of sass, club bunny drama, twists & turns and humour. It also has an abundance of MC brothers who I hope we get to know better with more books in the series.
This book pulled me in from the first page. It is the first book I have read by this author and it definitely will not be the last. I loved Venom. She is strong and is the type of woman who doesn’t take crap from anyone. I wanna be her when I grow up. While King and Venom didn’t get the best first impressions once the got together it was so awesome. The chemistry was off the charts. I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait wait to see what happens
Kind of an abrupt stop. I liked the couple though. Her whole tough girl shit got annoying sometimes and he was extremely childish at time for a man in his forties & the president of an MC. I enjoyed the side characters! They cracked me up! The plot was dragged on just to come to an end so swiftly. Overall it was a good book, but I just like something was missing. Excited to read about the rest of the characters though
New author for me & I freeking LOVED it!! Mafia & MC are my favourite reads 📚❤️. The book had all the feels. King, the alpha but also kind & funny. Cupcake/Bailey/Vemon is crass, loud, plenty of sass & funny 😃. I really liked the style of Rebecca's writing. This gal is sassy!! Lots of side characters that I'm definitely gonna be reading. Well done Rebecca 👏👏, highly recommended 🇮🇪🍀💚
Cat’s Stats MMC/FMC- King and Bailey Genre- MC Romance Lite Length- about 188 pages plus previews Heat- They do the things and use the C word. Series? Y Safety? Y Triggers- language, sex, violence Tropes- Badsass Heroine, Club Prez, Coffee, Protector, Secret Club Princess, Tattoo You What I liked- I liked how full of sass Bailey is. She’s a really fun FMC. What I didn’t- even though he has an Alphahole attitude, King is still hawt and that’s irritating.
With every new series Rebecca writes she takes your adventure to a new level and it is great to see how she adds in characters from other story lines. Watching the relationship between King and Bailey develope is quite cute and endearing to follow. It is also amazing how she links it all to the puzzle the Sons of Hell are trying to solve.
This was my first book to read by Rebecca Joyce and it was amazing! The storyline kept me on my toes the whole time and I never knew what was going to happen next. The way the authors uses the character world she's created with other her other books is awesome and how I like to read series!
