Samantha Day is definitely not a risk-taker. At least, not until the night she kisses her unattainable crush, and that kiss does something strange to her. Now she feels hungry all the time, but it's not for food. Her cravings are much darker than that, and far more frightening.
Only Bishop, a mysterious guy with unearthly blue eyes, seems to understand what's happening to her. He's the one chance Samantha has to stop the danger that's closing in around her. But it might mean losing everything she's ever wanted and embracing the darkness inside of her.

Amazing story, I can not wait to find out what happens next with Bishop & Samantha!! The mission is gripping and I’m excited to see how it ends, and who is telling the truth. Must read!!!
She talks to Angels, They call her out by her name...🎶
I hesitate to review, as I can't decide how I could possibly word my thoughts on this book, and not give away spoilers as well!
Modern day unassuming college girl, with 19 year old college girl issues: classes, boys, best friend drama, family, etc.
Entangling me through a story of angels vs. demons and all the bad things in-between, I couldn't help but be intrigued. While meandering through the well described locales, the main characters all received their own highlights, some quirky, some not so much, and for the most part, likable nonetheless. I found myself reading halfway through before I realized I was pretty much hooked, and would finish this book to the end. Alas, not to be, no end in sight in this book, not a stand alone. If you're a fan of HEA's, (and that trope usually bores me) this book, as book 1 in a series, isn't it. If you like cliffhangers, you'll get it with this. For me, surprisingly, I liked it, even if I have to go from book to book to get there. But, can the author hold my interest into the next....
