Enjoying a gorgeous single lifestyle with lots of encounters in the big city! That was Trudy the country girl's reason for coming to New York. To have metropolitan romances with all the men that aren't around in her small town. To keep her from getting into trouble, her friends introduce Linc as a "bodyguard" until she gets used to life in the city. As a playboy who's grown tired of the romantic chase, he's the perfect practice boyfriend who'll make her into a confident, sophisticated cosmopolitan!
Fairly atypical Harlequin. Well, that both were not looking for a relationship, and she was the one looking to fill a little black book. There was the other typical stuff in there though, rich boy falls for poor girl, blah blah blah. Corky enough to possibly get a re-read.
This is a very typical Harlequin story. Both characters not looking for a partner and ending up falling for each other.
Even though the story was predictable I had love every little bit of it. The upbeat way it was drawn the atmosphere of the whole story. It was simple and charming.
Trudy was not your typical HARLEQUIN girl. She had an attitude, a dream, very cheerful, funny and saucy while Linc was hot and bored until he met her.
A typical love story of a country girl Trudy going to city to experience new adventures, but with a tour guide /bodyguard Leon, her life gets more exciting
