When Power and Piety Collide

Rate this book
Over fourteen hundred years have passed since the Prophet Muhammad bonded rival tribes, united neighbors, and partnered others to form one community—the Muslim ummah. However, since the moment that the Prophet Muhammad publicly declared his prophethood and message, the internal relationship of the Muslim ummah has yet to synthesize fully.

Why is this so? And how can a person better understand the fabric and tendencies of the Muslims?

To understand the presence of the Muslims’ today, an objective and deeper look of Islam’s history and its key figures is critical. When Power and Piety Collide chronicles the early history of Islam, its development during and shortly after the life of Prophet Muhammad, and then draws an illuminating light on the reasons why Muslims today have yet to establish fully a harmonious ummah.

A truly unadulterated historical timepiece that presents clear and concise factual information from unanimously agreed upon sources, stemming from valid and reliable books and authors. No hidden agendas. This book seeks to clarify the series of events post martyrdom of the Prophet Muhammad as they appear in historical works. It has undoubtedly uncovered some very stark yet unquestionable realities that all Muslims ought to know, whether it befits their historical viewpoint or not, for the former is objective whereas the latter is subjective. An incredibly interested read.

This book for who will accept shia view. Which shows why they reject Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman as khalifah after Rasulullah SAWA.
