I really enjoyed this book. It was a little too long for me, but it had a good story about love and commitment. To me, the best parts of the book were when the relationship was really developing. Things are going well for the couple through most of the book, but the chapters where things aren't sunny in paradise were definitely the best.
What I loved.
I love the relationship Blake and Todd have together. They are super cute and I could tell they really love each other.
I liked the secondary characters, they were all very interesting to me and I was always happy to see them make an appearance.
I loved the chapters with the conflict and drama.
What I think would have made the book better...
More realism. Some of the stuff in the book seemed far-fetched to me. Blake goes from a super Christian family to an out and open gay man. Most people would probably struggle with that transition. Some other things seemed improbable too.
Less Sex. Some people might disagree with me on this one. At first the sex scenes were very hot, but after awhile they started to lose their steam. When the relationship became more about love I cared less and less about the several pages of sex every few chapters. I was more interested in Blake and Todd's relationship then their constant boning sessions.
I would have loved to see more conflict. Those were the best parts of the book to me.
I realize this is only the first book and there are more on the way. I can't wait for the next book to come out. The ending was such a cliffhanger and I have to say I am not very happy with Blake. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I actually remember when the chapters of this story came out in an online lgbt stories site, and I had read it for free. I loved it so much that when finding out it was removed some years ago to be out in a book, I was eager to buy it.
Read it front to back at least 3 times I recall, Todd and Blake had a world I could only wish was real so I could find my dream man.
Some people may not like a lot of the seemingly dated style of writing and adult elements in here but it works for it self and counter well with the dramatic moments of this journey through all with each-other.
I do strongly suggest people over 18 read this, because of the erotic passages written.
Read it front to back at least 3 times I recall, Todd and Blake had a world I could only wish was real so I could find my dream man.

Loved this book!

I loved this book. It had me on the edge of my seat through out the entire thing. This is only part one of four though so there is still lots to come. David Courson is currently in the hospital and hasn't been able to write lately, but we are all praying for him and waiting patiently for part two of the four part series.

This book started out decently, but I'm not sure how I feel about the rest. It was kind of blah. The best ending would have been after prom. I know there is a sequel, but I was so disappointed in Blake's actions in the end and the myriad grammar mistakes that I don't have any desire to move on. The sex scenes were hot, though.
