i hate bully romances and i usually avoid them like the plague. BUT this also has fated mates so i was like “eh can’t be too bad”. past martina is so wise, she made a wonderful decision. (i know, it’s weird hearing my name and good decision in the same sentence)

if there’s anyone concerned about the bullying, is it there? yeah, at the beginning.
and i refuse to ever say that it was justified but there is a reason.
i feel like so many people will be pissed off at the sudden change in the feelings, but i’m a basic bitch and i enjoyed it. (this is basically how i wanted honeythorn to be, so i’m very pleased).
however, they talk about what happened and i appreciated that.

i liked the characters, a lot. and i definitely want to read more about them. all in all, this is a good book.
but, yeah there’s a but, i feel like we ended up in the drama party land, which is a place i try to avoid. less drama and i could’ve given this 5 stars.
i don’t know how i can wait for curtis’ book. fall is too far away.

"I feel an overwhelming urge to claim, to protect, to possess. I won’t rest until Eli belongs to me. Every path I’ve walked and the ones yet to come will lead to this omega."

Alpha Jackson and Omega Eli both come from wealthy families. Their fathers are close friends but have animosity towards their offspring. In the case of Eli, his father views him as a worthless omega who has too many rights. He wants to go to university, but his father sees that as a useless endeavour for an omega. He refuses to allow his omega son to carry his name and wants to get rid of him while securing his company's future. Jackson's father views him as a liability. He doesn't trust his son to do as he would when he inherits the company. So as a way to ensure their futures and get rid of their problematic children, they agree to arrange a marriage between them and a merger of their companies.

Since meeting him as a young teen, Jackson has felt revulsion towards Eli. He bullied and tormented him throughout their years in school but still felt a compulsion and obsession towards him. However, things change when they find out that not only are their parents forcing (blackmail) them into a marriage, but they're also fated mates.

I absolutely adored The Loathed Omega. I didn't expect to love it as much as I did, but it had so many elements I enjoy in an omegaverse, this story is not perfect but it was to me. This book reminded me of Jett Masterson's Talk Nerdy to Me and Leta Blake's Bully for Sale.

Yes, there's bullying in the beginning by Jackson and his friends, but we learn why it happens and how the true mate signal between them might have played a role. It doesn't excuse what Jackson did to Eli, but you get an understanding of why it happened. Did Eli forgive too fast? Also yes, but that's fated mates for you. Jackson is disgusted and remorseful and does work hard to be a better alpha and mate to Eli so I couldn't stay mad at him for long.

I loved how we got super steamy sensual sex scenes and heat sex. It was well written, and I enjoyed each and every one of them. I honestly just love omegaverse heat sex, so I was very happy. I also liked how we got a peak in to their future as well. While the pregnancy aspect was not covered in detail it was nice to see some of it.

A fair amount of drama happens in connection with one of Jackson's former friends and Eli's bully.

I liked the side characters in the story.I am happy that Eli had good people around him despite having such a horrid father. I am excited for his best friend's story next.

Side note: the cover model reminds me of Timothée Chalamet.

Overall I really enjoyed it. If you love omegaverse and enjoy bully romance with fated mates, I recommend it.

May 2023: Reading this story felt immensely nostalgic. 😄 A few years ago, I went through this phase in which all I read was fanfiction. This story read like a variation of one of my then favorite tropes... an alpha mistreating his fated mate before knowing any better. When this mistreatment took place in high school, more often than not, the parents of the MCs behaved in much the same way as the parents of the MCs in this story.

In this story, Jackson and his friends bully Eli, a social outcast who didn't have any close friends. Apparently, this bullying had been occurring for years, but we only see it at the beginning of the story.

From there, the story quickly progresses to their forced marriage to them discovering they are fated mates. It mostly focused on what life was like for the newly mated couple. Lots of sex, lots of asking for forgiveness, and lots of getting used to the effects of their bond.

The couple's main challenge was dealing with people at school who refused to respect their marriage. It was in dealing with this problem that most of the story's conflict arose.

A lot of things that happened in this story felt a little unbelievable, but I still enjoyed it. 3.5 stars. I can't wait to read Curtis's story. 💗

September 2024: I just randomly checked to see if the author has published Curtis's story only to discover that this story has been taken down from KU with no plans to continue the series or any other stories. 😥 I was actually looking forward to reading more from this author. 💔

The characters were cartoonish, to put it simply, especially Curtis. I put too much expectation on this book; lol, my fault. I just wished the relationship was more developed so it would be more believable for me when they finally fall in love. Instead, they did a 180 on their Wedding. I do love the possessiveness and codependency, but other than that, it could've been way better. It's so overdramatic, all because of the conflicts and Twist; it's like reading a really bad telenovela script.

A very good debut novel by this author.

It is omegaverse - and there are only men in this universe, no women. So the only 'genders' are alpha, beta, omega.

I have 'mpreg' tagged but it is very much not present in this story. It is in the background, and is a possibility, and omegas are looked at, by traditionalists, like 'breeders' and all that. But our main couple doesn't have a kid until the epilogue, and it's when they're having it, so the 'mpreg' is almost nonexistent.

But, it is still a thing in this universe and it does happen eventually, so I still tagged it to let people know this is a world with mpreg and the main couple eventually has a kid.

Eli is the omega, and he is tiny, even for an omega. (So to me I imagine him like...5 feet tall, 5 ft 1 or so. And then regular height for omegas is, I imagine like 5'5" or 5'6", and alphas are around 6 ft or more.)

Jackson is the alpha, and for some inexplicable reason, he absolutely loathes Eli. And because he's so popular and has influence, his hatred spreads to other alphas and at their school (they are both 18 and almost in the last term of their high school careers at the start of this) and even for an omega, Eli is hated and ostracized. The other omegas stay away from him as well - probably so as not to be ostracized and hated as well.

Except for Curtis, another omega who becomes Eli's best friend. But he's so filthy rich from his parents - who died some years ago - that he's basically untouchable and is left alone to befriend who he pleases.

We see how much Jackson hates Eli and how badly he treats Eli and wants to see him suffer. Mainly because when they were 13 at a party, when they accidentally touch hands, Jackson felt such revulsion it made him physically ill. Since then, whenever he's near Eli he feels that revulsion and can't help but take it out on poor Eli, because Jackson thinks it's because of Eli himself that he feels that. Like Eli has a disease or something.

But when they're fathers - who are both equally horrible and are best friends - want to marry them off to protect their own interests, they force both into the arranged marriage.

Everything changes when that happens. Once they touch, it's all over for them. Because it turns out they're true mates, and it's sealed at their wedding, and Jackson sees Eli in a whole new light, and Eli as well - because Jackson has treated him so horribly for years, Eli doesn't like Jackson either.

Was this very insta-love? Yes. Was it OTT? Yes.

It turns out that .

That explanation, to me, is overall a silly one and doesn't make much sense, even for a fantastical world with only men in it and all these unrealistic things in it. Like I don't know the body would be able to know exactly when it is .

But I guess true mates are also a thing in this world - so much so that they are physically repulsed by anyone else - so maybe it's not too unbelievable given the premise? I don't know, it still feels silly to me.

But anyway, it is what it is, and the rest is just a fun time. Over the top, as I said - as there is a villain who sets his sights on Eli and how he goes about things and all that is just kinda silly as well. But if you get past that aspect of it and just let it be OTT, then it's just a fun time.

And of course I adore the ultra possessiveness these two feel for each other, and how intense the sex is between them, and while it is insta-love (once the true mates thing is revealed), once they were in it, they were in it, and the love was shown really well. We didn't get a build up, really, but once we were there, there love was all consuming and so good.

Jackson's 180 is great to see. His guilt about how he treated Eli, and how determined he is do anything and everything to make up for his past bullying, for the rest of their lives together. How guilty he still feels if anything bad happens to Eli. And how sweet and adorable Eli is. How forgiving he is, how kind.

I love what Jackson ends up doing with his life as well at the end of this. They both get a ton of money in the forced marriage 'deal' as it were, and they use it for good and I love it.

And 4 years later after they're done with Uni, they have a baby when they're ready, and that's lovely. As much as I love accidental pregnancy storylines, I like this too when they get to choose when they have the baby. And since mpreg wasn't supposed to be a main focus of this anyway, I was cool with it happening at the very end in the epilogue.

I am excited for the second installment, I can't wait for Curtis to get his HEA with his godfather 😉. If it's anything like this one - with some juicy age-gap thrown into it - then it promises to be a good one.

Can't wait! 🥰

This popped up on my Amazon recommendations. I'd never seen or heard of it but decided it was worth a chance even though I hate bully romances. I remembered why I hate them. I couldn't stand the way Jackson treated Eli even though we do learn there is a reason behind it.

And just so I can contradict myself, I sort of wish there was a little more struggle for each of them to accept the other even though they were true mates. Yeah, I know.... I just said I hated bully romances. But in this instance, it would have made sense for there to be more of a conflict of acceptance. I'm a huge fan of true mates and insta-love, but I just felt with the way Jackson acted and allowing his friends to treat Eli the way they did, it would have just made more sense.

I think there needed to be a little more world building as well. I never truly understood what they were. Jackson mentions his beast, but were they some sort of shifters without the shifting? Was it a different entity? Were there females or was everyone male just differentiated by a/b/o? I think it definitely could have been expanded on so we understand the world in which they live.

Maybe the author would consider a prequel with Jim and Harry that would explain their world further. hint, hint 😉

BUT I did enjoy it. It was cute with a little drama thrown in. I'm definitely interested in Curtis's book! I love age-gap romances.

I find bully romances to be problematic because rarely does the bully redeem himself or show true contrition.

Once Jackson realizes that Eli is his soulmate, he feels terribly guilty for verbally and mentally abusing Eli for five years. What I didn't like is that Jackson was never going to stop the abuse of his own volition. His change of heart is precipitated by the magic of the soul bond.

And Eli forgives Jackson just like that. Of course he does; Jackson is his alpha.

But the MCs are 18, so Jackson has decades to spoil and pamper Eli (and in the epilogue we see that he's off to a good start).

What lowered my rating was the and the one-dimensional villains (not just Jackson's former friend but Eli and Jackson's dads, who did everything but twirl their mustaches).

Fortunately, there's plenty of sexy action here, and the secondary characters are a lot of fun. Curtis, Eli's friend, and Harry, Eli's uncle, are both a hoot, and I am planning on reading Curtis's story.

This was love at first cover… honestly I’m sad the book isn’t available for purchase anymore because I would love to have this and perv touch it 🫠🫠🫠🫠.The cover is so beautiful and it captures Eli perfectly 🖤

So I thought this was a dick therapy book. When sad? Dick. When happy? Dick. Bored? Ecstatic? Sleepy? Hungry? Thirsty? Depressed? Tiered? Guess what? Diiiiiiiiiiiick! And at first it was, because sometimes 18 yo horny alpha omega smut it’s what we need. Who isn’t guilty throw the first stone 😅 but them it wasn’t all about dick. It’s about love, friendship, freedom, following dreams, building a life together and protecting each other at all costs. The end surprised me, it was full of angst, desperation and saving.

While I love Eli, and how strong he is, even while hiding, but Jackson had such incredible character growth. Love him and what he choose to do for other omegas ❤️🥹

They were so loving and so kind to each other. Adored all the possessiveness and touch him and die from both of them, after the mating. It’s pretty insta lust and love but come one, they are true mates, can’t run from that.and let me tell you, these boys learn pretty quick , because damn hot and desperate. The lust and need it’s there when you are reading it.🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

Everything about this society and ideals make me sick 🤢 abhorrent Just the prologue made made to the bones with those awful alpha dads, the way they spoke of their sons, disgusting and Jackson and his friends at first🤢

Without an alpha to sign off on my every decision, my accommodation, my health care, hell, even on the car I drive, the government would assign me a guardian.🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢”

There’s lots of stereotypes, omegas are weak and wear fluffy clothes and lingerie, alphas like sports and are brute.I think this would be more acceptable if it was historical background, because reading this level of horror in a contemporary setting is unsettling.

Lattes, flashy clothes, dick therapy, codependency, dick therapy, fancy dinners, lazy weekends with loads of dick therapy. They are such rich useless spoiled brats… god.

-100 extra points to Roger, Harry, Jim, Curtis , Huw and Coach!

-And yes Jackson, EVERYONE knows that brunch is sacred ok?

But I don’t think it’s just inevitability that makes me feel this way. I don’t only love Jackson because I’m meant to, not when his every action shows me how much he adores me. From tidying up my drunken mess last night to tearing a man apart for me, Jackson has given me everything I ever wanted and things I never dared dream of.

Yes, this is my mate. Look at how fucking perfect he is.❤️

I only read omegaverse when I'm in the mood for something really smutty, because you're guaranteed at least some kind of kinky heat stuff. This was pretty mid, to be honest. A bully alpha hates a mousy omega and torments him for the duration of their high school years, but through a cruel twist of fate they end up in an arranged marriage through the machinations of their Disney-villain fathers. However, in a massive plot twist, they also end up being fated mates and literal years of despicable behaviour is forgiven in a hormone haze. It was kind of dumb. Lots of really stereotypical behaviour, I sometimes feel like omegaverse stuff is really just AU hetero romance, or an excuse to play up gender roles but disguise it as queer fic. It was very dramatic and OTT.

A steamy, low-angst read with questionable worldbuilding and under-utilised themes.

CW:

TLDR; the arranged marriage and enemies-to-lovers tropes were undermined by instalove and insta-forgiveness, the world is like a strange pseudo-MF but with omega genders instead (and dicks), the conflict was wacko, buuuut if these things don't bother you it was pretty cute and sexy, so yeah!
______________

Apologies for the wall of text ahead, I got carried away.

Even though it's a high-school romance which is less and less my thing, I am super keen on the arranged marriage trope, and I like a good enemies-to-lovers, so I thought I'd give this a shot. I was kind of disappointed on both counts.

The arranged marriage is the impetus of the action, but as soon as they touch each other and realise they're true mates it becomes such a non-event that it might as well never have happened. There's none of the longing/pining/angsting/external conflict that I'd hope for with an arranged marriage.

Same goes for the enemies-to-lovers plotline. Jackson has been bullying Eli for 5 years and has caused almost everyone to shun Eli because of it, but because they're mates it's all instantly forgiven. Jackson feels guilty and brings it up a few times but to Eli it's completely unimportant so there's no groveling.

Both of their fathers are despicable in a very caricatural way. In the first few chapters it looks like they're going to be a big part of the plot but they just...disappear into thin air once Jackson and Eli get married.

The actual conflict/tension in this novel was...wack. So dramatic.

As far as the premise/worldbuilding goes, there are a number of things that didn't make sense and just seemed like convenient plot elements. Clearly, that people can have true mates is common knowledge. If that's the case, then why wouldn't it also be known that up until the mates are 18, this presents as disgust instead to avoid triggering a heat when the omega isn't physically ready. Now, sure, this seems like a world where sex ed is...limited...but come on.

Speaking of which. If I wanted to read about gender inequality or other bigotry...I'd read the news. The repressed omega trope is not really something I enjoy and I certainly wasn't expecting it here. The idea that omegas couldn't make their own decisions and the necessity of having alpha minders for single/orphaned omegas was honestly just revolting. People read fiction for many different reasons and I don't mean to diminish anyone's experience of it, but I enjoy fiction as escapism and, baby, this just ain't cutting it.

As M put it in their review (and I quote): "I sometimes feel like omegaverse stuff is really just AU hetero romance, or an excuse to play up gender roles but disguise it as queer fic." I say this is especially relevant in an omegaverse where there are no female characters. Parallels must be made. Having the omegas embody some very stereotypical gay traits was also...questionable.

I was very put off by a comment made about the heat sex . I could absolutely be overreacting but . It also seems contradictory with regards to .

All of this being said, I didn't hate this novel. I surprisingly found Jackson to be the most endearing character (yikes, look at me sympathising with the bully), probably because he at least has some sort of desire to better himself and to atone for his actions.

I did enjoy the tender romance between Eli and Jackson, and thought the sex scenes were pretty hot. I like the primal toxic possessiveness, and the knowledge that it's something they'll need to work on together to be able to maintain other friendships and get the most out of their lives.

I saw the pairing for the next novel coming a mile away and I'm potentially intrigued enough to read it but a bit disappointed that it won't be Curtis with .

Sexual content: Explicit, well-written.

4.5 stars. Very sexy story of young love and fated mates set in the omegaverse. It starts out as a bully romance but QUICKLY turns into an us-against-the-world alpha/omega love story of young men learning how to adapt and grow. Very spicy with a good amount of protectiveness and possessiveness. Awesomely kooky BFF and uncle with an excellent level of guilt and groveling on the alphas part makes for a lovely, easy read.

The cover is stunning and gives two different vibes. It very much reflects the somber, bullied, dejected omega with the bruised, tired eyes that we meet in the beginning of the story. I also see this as Eli in the middle of a relieved sigh when his story turns from sad to hopeful.

We get a few twists and turns and a bit of drama and trauma that was somewhat predictable, but handled so well with great dialogue and flow, I never felt bored and the book always continued moving forward. The characters are so likeable and the whole thing is sweet and satisfying. For what it is, a light easy spicy read, it’s really well done. I would gladly read more from this author and from this series.

Conflicted. On the one hand, this is a bully romance and the bully DOESN'T apologize but all is miraculously immediately forgiven because ~ 🥰fated mates🥰~. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

On the OTHER hand.... Jackson isn't a bad person. He makes amends. In a way. His entire EXISTENCE is devoted to making amends.

BUT I'm a coldhearted person and I'd rather amends not be required to begin with. Even the background reason for why Jackson bullied Eli is flimsy at best. He could have just avoided this omega🤷

This is why I prefer to avoid bully romance AND fated mates books. I don't know if bullying is ever justified or forgivable AND with fated mates, sometimes I can't be convinced that the two aren't just making the best of a bad situation.

I don't know if I loved or hated this book. I hated Eli's immediate forgiveness of Jackson, I'll tell you that much. Not even a little resentment?

If anything, I'd be MORE resentful if my bully of four years turned out to be my true mate, but that's just me. (it should be everyone though, because c'mon, how fucked up is that??)

There'd be a LOT of emotionally /sexually manipulative withholding of the goods, I'll tell you that much.

This is why the fated mates shtick felt like a way to gloss over the difficult conversations in this book. Because Jackson didn't have to work at his redemption because he was magically forgiven.

Alternatively, one could argue that it's more telling of his character that he worked so hard at it regardless.

But alas. I am not that 'one'.

First off, I am not a huge fan of enemies to lovers. But this, this was so much more! It was young love, trying to figure out how to be IN love, and fated mates, while still in freaking high school, while being ditched by their parents. Thankfully there were some helpful side characters that became family.
This book is not without its struggles though. It is rough and raw at times and kept me on my toes! I will definitely be one clicking this author from now on!

Jackson and Eli hate each other and get physically sick when they touch. Their fathers force them to marry each other. When they marry, they realize they are soul mates, they insta love and their passion explodes. This book is one steamy moment after another interspersed with some major alpha actions. Their spicy and sensual activities saturate the pages as these young guys adjust to love, need and togetherness. This book highlights an alpha/ omega relationship. I received a copy of this book through Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest opinion.

Tropes: enemies to lovers, fated mates, arranged marriage, instalove, double virgins
Feels: 3.5/5
Steam*: 3.5/5
Kinks: omegaverse, knotting
Angst: low
HEA: yes
Pairing: MM
Triggers/potential icks: bad parents, attempted rape, abduction, assault

Eli and Jackson's dads were college friends. Both dads are wealthy assholes who aren't impressed with their kids. They decide to marry their kids off to each other and merge their companies.

Eli and Jackson met when they were 13 and Jackson was physically sickened by touching Eli. He's avoided Eli since, treated him like he has a disease, bullied him with his crowd of friends. They don't want this marriage at 18, but their dads make deals with them. The deal is actually confusing, the dads agree they will stay out of their kids lives, never have to see them again, but they are doing this whole thing to secure their legacy and have their children take over their merged company in the future. Why plan for that but also never want to see your child again?

At the wedding, they touch and realize they are true mates. It's instant love. No more tension of enemies to lovers or hate, it just turns syrupy. The smut is pretty good. But there were a bunch of things about the story I didn't love. This was supposed to be a portrayal of omegas that was empowering/enlightened. But instead it seemed derogatory, because the author made the omegas terribly superficial and weak, needing to be coddled. They were flashy/foolish spenders, like pretty colours, lacy undies, painted nails, reacted emotionally. The arch villain dads and their plot didn't make sense. These guys were in high school, married at 18, the interactions with other characters around them just seemed forced/fake. Not my cup of tea.

Some notable moments:

"I lift my head and see Jackson’s eyes fixed on my face, a small, arrogant smile pulling at his lips. Yeah, well fuck you too, bitch. I’m going to make your life a living nightmare." (I wanted more of this vibe)

"“Um, so how was Italy?” I croak awkwardly. “YOU GOT MARRIED, ELI!” He shouts. “Who cares how Italy was? Side note, it was fucking boring. But that’s beside the point. I leave the country for five bloody minutes and come home to find you married. To Jackson fucking Rockford!” He slams his glass down, the wine sloshing precariously."

"“Alright, let’s get out, and I’ll bring you some dinner in bed.” I give Jackson a small smile, “What service. Maybe I should get kidnapped more often.” “Too soon, Eli,” Jackson groans"

*FYI, I rate steam based on a combination of quality & quantity. I note kink separate from steam because I don't want to underrate steamy reads that don't have much kink."

The Loathed Omega
By K. Worthy

Since they were young, Jackson has always detested Eli. Eli's touch makes his skin crawl, and Jackson feels a burning need to destroy Eli. He and his friends have turned the whole school against him and relish seeing the fruits of their labor. So what happens when Jackson and Eli's fathers decide to solve their own problems by illegally forcing Jackson and Eli to marry?

I adored Eli. He's the type of character you want to hold close and protect with your last breath. Once Jackson came around, I adored him too. Even Huw. Though as for Rick, that guy needed to die a painful death. Alas, he didn't, but he was served a full course meal by Lady Karma. Thank God.

I really enjoyed the storyline. Parts of it were unique, and it's not often we have to deal with such despicable parents. The author was great at explaining the world behind the story, especially when it came to true mates. My single dislike about the story is that I felt Eli forgave Jackson and Huw much too easily. However, both spent every moment making up for their past behavior and were determined to protect Eli once they were together. So I forgave their actions pretty quickly. A quick note... while I did mark this as an mpreg book that is only a very tiny part of the book and it's at the very end.

This is the first book I've read by K. Worthy and I thought it was fabulous. I can't wait for Curtis and Jamie's story to come out. I was hoping throughout the book Huw and Curtis might be mates, but I'm actually thrilled it's Jamie because he's been such a mysterious and hidden in the shadows kind of character throughout the book. So we'll know nothing about him other than he's Curtis's guardian going into the next book.

Edit: 01/01/24 - According to the authors page they are no longer writing or publishing. So Curtis and Jamie's story won't be coming. 😞 In addition, this book is no longer available on Amazon.

I really tried, and the start of this book was promising.
But, about 20% in, it was obvious that this author just made omegas chicks with dicks, and relatively vapid chicks with dicks at that. I mean, the amount of frilly lacy pajamas and crop tops on men was laughable. And the GIGGLING. No thanks.
And of course, because of the magic power of the mate bond and alpha peen, 5 years of abuse was just totally forgiven instantly.
Boring.
Dnf about 50% in.

I don’t really know how I feel about this book. I mean, I liked the first half of the book, especially because there were big emotions and heartbreaking moments. But after the wedding and when the main plot started (the part where others are not happy about the relationship between Eli and Jackson), the emotions I felt before were practically nonexistent. The plot was okay, but didn’t do it for me either (I think that’s because the plot was something I’ve read before, so not necessarily anything new).

That said, I kinda enjoyed the book anyway. I mean, I really liked cheeky little Eli and of course his bestie Curtis. Jackson was a bit plain, I think. There wasn’t much character to him, but I certainly didn’t dislike him either.

The book didn’t wow me, and I kinda hoped it would, but that’s on me. But I guess I liked it anyways. Especially since I’m a big fan of omegaverse and true mates stories, so if you like those kinda books too, I would recommend.

This was a very familiar plot. I've read this storyline from another author. And some of the details were a very near match. So not terribly original.
But it was very well done. And the author did spend time worldbuilding and detailing the characters' lives. Eli, the omega, was by far the stronger character. Jackson, the alpha, was less emotionally secure. And then there was the alpha guilt and whining. Interspersed with feral behavior. Which the supporting characters all assured Eli and Jackson that it was typical alpha protective behavior.
Luckily, the pair had a strong chemistry. And their good friends offered humor to lighten the heaviness.
This is the first work of K Worthy that I've read. Look forward to more.

Loved it!

Yes! I loved this crazy emotional read. Omegaverse,
M/M style. We find our omega and alpha with crappy home lives, and even crappier fathers. A plan is Cooked up by said fathers to get everything out of their said sons, weather they like it or not. And although this starts out on a sad note, it becomes everything to Eli and Jackson. The love whirlwind this couple found is amazing! I was loving every minute of it. But there is definitely crazy dangerous ppl around them. and I won't lie, you just can't help wanting these two to just be happy and have some peace! The drama is wild, and I won't lie, serious tears were shed here. But I promise we get a HEA. Book was amazing

Eli & Jackson

I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this but I was very pleasantly surprised by it. I quickly found myself sucked into the story and I didn't want to put it down. I'm looking forward to Curtis's story next.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

No rating dnf at 70% (because iv4had enough)

I don't have an excuse, someone wrote on my tl that this felt like a good old-fashioned fanfic and I indulged myself

This is not on "sorry English is not my first language" level of fanfic so I would not recommend it
