Border Collies

Rate this book
Border Collies is packed with information on choosing a puppy and bringing it up, feeding it and training to live with a family. There is an extensive chapter on training the dog for obedience and showing.
The book covers all aspects of breeding from choosing a mate for your dog to raising a litter. It includes a very interesting chapter on genetics. Although most Border Collies are the familiar black and white, several other colours exist, including chocolate, tri-colours and wheaten. There is a brief history of the development of the breed in Australia. Illustrated with both black and white colour photographs.
