Lo que nos cuenta. En el libro Scorpio en la corte de Aviñón (publicación original: Scorpio, 1990) conocemos a Scorpio, que pertenece a una raza alienígena y podría recordar a un reptil anfibio antropomórfico. Al huir de la amenaza de los Cazadores en su Terrapene natal, Scorpio termina en la Aviñón de mediados del siglo XIV debido al poder de una de las esferas que canalizan energías en su sociedad. Su curioso aspecto generará confusiones entre los lugareños y, mientras busca refugio frente a los perseguidores, trabará amistad con Leah, la hija de un conocido médico judío de la localidad. Primer libro de la saga Scorpio.

I might have read it in high school, but I remember being a page-turner. I love the play on the alien's name, Scorpio, the Hebrew month of Mar-Cheshvan, the water sign. An excellent little read with great characters that I find to be as relevant today (if not more so) than when the story is set. I'd love to read this, and it's sequels, again.

I liked this book, although it did drag a little. I kept picking it up and putting it down, it ended up taking me 6 months to read it. The ending was ok, not as satisfying as I had hoped, but ok.

I read this series when they came out in the 90's - I'm hoping I can find them again..
