For what it's intended, this book is amazing.

Just Spring by Madhusudhan Konda does a great job at giving you a crash course on Spring that leaves you with a very good idea of what Spring is (capable of), whether it fits your particular needs in a given project you might be working, aswell as giving you enough information to make a decision on whether to continue reading/learning about Spring.

For someone like me, who is still trying to come to grips with the profusion of different development frameworks that have come out over the years, this book proves itself very valuable.

I read the book in 2 days, and i can now say that if an adequate opportunity arises, i know i can give Spring a go. Very well written, excellent practical and intuitive examples. The book practically reads itself.

As a newbie to the integration domain, I found this book easy to follow. Examples in the book are straightforward, concise and well maintained by authors.

Personally I really like the way of introduction of the authors. It gave me concepts of what Spring Integration is and how it works without diving deeply into the overwhelming details of Spring Integration like the other books. Recommend to someone who would like to play with Spring Integration in downtime.

This is a great little book. You won't find a lot of detail in here, but for someone who's just trying to get an introduction to Spring, this is great. This will not make you an expert, it will barely take you to the beginner level, but as long as you plan on reading something more comprehensive afterwards, this is pretty useful.

Book does a great job of giving the best possible introduction to the Spring Framework. Examples are lucid and doable. 66 pages seasoned with "The Framework" on Safari Books.
