Mary Had A Little Problem

Rate this book
Mary Worthington is a widow, or at least, she should’ve been. A former Navy Seals wife, Mary has a difficult time accepting the fact her husband isn’t coming home. Without a body to bury or witnesses to explain what happened, there’s no way Mary can put the past to sleep until someone provides her with the truth about her husband’s final hours.

Trying to step out and socialize once again while gathering facts about her husband’s death, Mary is introduced to Brock Taylor, a hard-core ladies man dedicated to the Marines and sharing himself with any woman who wants a piece of one. That is, until he meets Mary, a woman he's heard about through a man they both know well.

Mary and Brock fall in love, plan a wedding in the Great Smoky Mountains, and well, things could’ve been headed toward a happy ending only six months after Brock finally wins Mary’s hand, but Mary’s missing husband reappears. And Mary isn’t sure she can give up one man in exchange for another.

This was a very short read (69 pages I think)

This was a lite version of a BDSM/Menage story (Menage in the end)

Neither was described in great detail. The love story itself was good and thought provoking. Makes you wonder how you would react in this situation. If you lost a loved one...how quickly could you move on if at all and what would happen if you found out what you thought was fact was in all reality wrong. Would you be able to move forward with someone new or revert back to what you used to have.

All in all a good read. I felt sorry for Mary. I don't think I could have moved on as quickly as she did but that is me. From a story stand point it was good. I wish it would have been longer. This is an author that I will want to read again.

Actual rating: 3 1/2.

Destiny Blaine’s Mary Had a Little Problem is not the silly book that the flippant title may lead you to believe it is. This is a book that tells the story of what might really happen if a MIA soldier reappears after the “widow” has fallen in love with someone else. There are a few plot holes or I would have rated this one higher. It's still a good book and worth your time to read.

This is a great little read. Its quick only 69 pages. You can read it in about an hour. It does have sex in it though it doesn't go into a whole lot of detail and it isn't the whole focus of the book. I wish there were more story on them falling in love and what happened to her husband before he came back. Other wise it was overall a very nice book. Normally not the type of book I would read but I would read Destiny Blaine again if I was in the mood for what she offered here.

Wow this book is amazing and well written. Mary lost the love of her life but that is what the government was telling her. Brock was in love with his best friends wife, yet he never met her. Luke was thought to be dead but the only thing keeping him alive was Mary. This book has a lot of steamy parts, and twists and turns. This book flows really well that you will read it in one sitting! How does Mary deal with her problem? Well read this book and you wont be disappointed!
