This is a first by this author and I really enjoyed it! Call me crazy, but I am not usually partial to erotica written by male authors, but I am beginning to change my mind about that!
Contrary to my preconceived thoughts about male authors, Lewis did a wonderful job with character development and I loved the way the story played out. The story starts out with a hot and steamy non-con fantasy that I really enjoyed. The story was told over a period of a couple of years which was an aspect that was particularly pleasing - erotic reads tend to be a little on the quick side, but not this one!
If you like non-con fantasy, kidnap fantasy, gang bang and menage...oh and I can't forget a little female-female action...then you should get this book!

Now I have to read the second in this story, Claudia's Surrender. I enjoyed this story with the gang banging and the dubious consent. This is really a more contemporary story with some hot fantasies played out. Red is the kind of female I can admire. She's smart and she knows what she wants. She's going after her passion - owning her on PI agency.
Sam is hot. What makes him so hot for me is that he overhears Claudia's fantasies she murmurs in her sleep and he brings it to reality for her. The things he does to her makes me shiver with delight. The fact that Sam wants to know more about Claudia after and finds her after a couple years is even more of a turn on.
I recommend this book to those who want a smexy BDSM story with a smart leading female and a hot caring guy.

That was so good, I really liked it. I expected a sex book, but there was thought and a real story here. The characters were bold and descriptive and their thoughts and actions logical
The blurb pretty much explains what happened on the vacation, but it leaves out that Sam and Claudia have a real connection, and spend some time away from the rest of the crowd during the vacation. It also leaves out that Sam arranges for one of Claudia's fantasies after she talked in her sleep! This is the first half of the book, and is beyond hot in the sex factor!
It picks up 2 years later, and Claudia is solving a case she has as a PI when Sam re-surfaces. She continues to work the case, deciding to deal with him later. The two end up interlaced, and we end the book with them together.

I really like the ability of this author to tell stories containing the darker nature of fantasies without making me cringe! On the contrary, it makes me feel like it could be possible to live them, and enjoy them to the full and somehow still feeling safe.
Loved the story, every part, just need to know what next now.
