Mazael is now defending his land from invading fiends and bloodthirsty priests of the Serpent God. Beset on all sides with few allies, he must find a way to win.
The half elf Romaria has returned in an unusual fashion but it is for the good.
Basically, non-stop action, this is well worth the read.

Maelzel has a different type of enemy tormenting his lands this time and after calling for aid and getting if from the liege lord he runs into his brother in law Gerald and finds out that he's got a nephew. that he is trying to save him from who knows what. The join with one another.

Thseas an excellent story loved the way Moeller brought back Romaria and how he did her character. And after going back to here homeland in the Southern forest and saving her people her mother still hated her because she was a half breed. What Romaria finally did surprised me. Another great twist was the ending and how it finally ended not only with What Romaria did but also how the final enemy was taken out. I will have to admit that it was one for which I was kind of thinking it would play out but he through in one more final twist which really surprised me.

I will have to admit that he needs to fire his proof reader.

Soul of Serpents (Demonsouled Book 3) Review

Dear Jonathan, I really enjoy reading your stories and this story was excellent. I keep writing good reviews about your stories and recommend reading them to adults interested in reading a great story and series. This particular series is wonderful for adults but I don't recommend it to younger people as this series is very bloodthirsty. Thanks for the entertainment.

Editing

I so wanted to give this a 4 or a 5. The story is great, as have it's predecessors, the characters are those i can love ( or despise !)but the editing...please. I have been churning through JM's books and have loved them, in this book some paragraphs make no sense. Please better editing but keep up the stories.

Apart from the usual grammar errors, misspellings and stupid names, why didn't the baddie simply cloak himself ab initio and walk into the temple without the distraction of a bunch of orcs described as malrogs.

How were they reborn anyway with no apparent lady malrogs around.

Not finished reading this but a thought occurred to me. In the first book, Mazael is able to share his sword's magical power by tapping it to another's weapon. Why does he not do this in his fight with the Malrags? Even if it did not have infinite sharing abilities we know he can share the power with at least two others.

Good
Storyline is set in somewhat of a medieval setting, good vs evil etc .
Good e fantasy romp and escapism for a couple of hours. Engaging and entertaining.

Didn't like
The negative connotations regarding rebirth are a little odious and smack, perhaps of the authors own religious views.

Suggestion:
For those of Indic faiths whose children might read. Ensure they understand the underlying thread, designed or not, of ideas critical to and which attack your own values that might place them in a negative light. Take the good and ditch the bad. Subtle attacks can be more dangerous than outright inquisitions.

I liked this one better than the last one. I loved how Romaria came to be one within herself. I liked how Rachel went beyond herself to save her son. Romaria's mother is a character you are born to hate and you like her even less by the end of the story.

The third part in the series was even better than the second. The series has so far been refreshingly good fantasy.

As with the other books, I really liked this story, but there were so many grammatical errors. However, I liked enough to just read through them and am now reading the next book.

The sister.
I dislike her character and it detracts from series.
