This book is great for women looking for a parenting approach centered in African tradition and in tune with nature. I read this book during the period of my life in which I was preparing for marriage and motherhood. It eased many of my concerns and answered a lot of questions, especially pertaining to midwives, doulas, and health. Great resource - I will definitely read it again.
