Birinci sezonun son bölümüne gelmiş bulunmaktayız... En kısa sürede ikinci sezon olan The Breaker New Waves, Vol 1 başlamayı düşünüyorum. Tabii bu tahminen yeni yıldan sonrasına kalacak...
Bu cilt, sadece harika değildi bence; muhteşemdi!
Beni bu kadar duygulandıran başka bir manga okuduğumu hatırlamıyorum üstelik.

Çok tatlı bir seriydi.
Güç, dövüş, intikam, aşk, komedi ne ararsanız vardı.
Bazı bölümler gözlerimi doldurdu. Bela okuttu.
Bazı karakterlere şöyle elimin tersiyle vurmak istedim!
İlk 1-2 cilt klişe gibi gelebilir ama pes etmeyiniz, okuyunuz efendim,
İyi eğlenceler şimdiden :)

Sochun seemed to be on Han's side at one point, but he pulled the chief to safety, so his allegiance is all over the place. He's a genius, so how are his logic and allegiance so clouded? Shi is pushed aside, so Kangsung steps in. Shi tries again with feeling, a punch and even tears to beg his master to calm down. And he succeeds.
And now let's take another dump on the story and bring the chief back. He threatens to kill Shi, upsetting even his supporters. Cause he doesn't care now. He'll take everyone on just like the madman he has become. Roar! Han surprises everyone when he punches the chief through Shi. Class dismissed!
Shi wakes up in hospital. Kangsung, another character whose allegiance is dubious, reveals that Shi is under his protection until he heals. Han destroyed his Ki center, so Shi will never practice martial arts again. He recounts the scene where Han defeated the chief. Kangsung prevented Han from dealing the killing blow which starts a fight between the two. Han is a lot more bloodthirsty, but he soon gives up the fight, picks up his toys and leaves, threatening everyone into leaving him alone. This behavior is nothing like the Han of the previous nine chapters.
Shi returns to school, but the world of the murim keeps following him. The Sunwoo clan chooses him as their leader and invites him into their world.
I'm just going to leave this story here. If the New Waves story does an equally spectacular job of wasting a perfectly good buildup, then I'll just stay away.

This volume did not go in the direction that I'd expected. Still good stuff but while reading I was just so amped ... then came the letdown. The letdown has nothing to do with the quality of the story but more with what I wanted to happen. 😀

On aime la bagarre, oh oui, les gars qui font exploser leur ki (ou leur chakra, choisissez votre arme préférée). On adore regarder ces corps musclés foutre des coups qui explosent le béton, l’œil déterminé et la truffe vive (heureusement par contre que ça ne fait que rarement exploser les corps, sinon la moitié de la Corée du Sud serait éparpillée façon bolognaise). Bon par contre, le jeune benêt qui devient le héros du monde martial (grâce à une pilule ici), avec un cœur plus gros que le PIB américain, c’est un peu du réchauffé. Heureusement qu’il y a autour des protagonistes toute une panoplie de personnages à peine esquissés mais bien plus charismatiques. L’avantage ici c’est que les combats sont clairs, dans leur dessin, contrairement à l’univers qui est un peu dur à mâcher (pour le coup on se retrouve vraiment comme le benêt, balancé dans un monde alternatif caché de mecs qui font du fight club sous l’égide d’un conseil de vieux qui font du breakdance tellement ils sont souples). Pour le coup, c’est le genre d’œuvre qui tient ses promesses, reste dans la moyenne, ne cherche pas spécialement à se démarquer et ne s’étire pas en longueur (peut-être que c’est un problème du coup, étant donné qu’on n’explore aucune des sous-histoires qui sont amorcées). Je lirais du coup la suite (vu que j’ai fait l’erreur de prendre la saison 2 avant la 1, je me suis dépêché de lire The Breaker, à moi le New Waves !)

As a general review for the whole volumes, I found it interesting and breath taking at the same time. I loved the plot and the characters and enjoyed my time reading it.

I can't believe i binge read this series for the past 48 hrs. The ending is so good and an open ended one that leads to a new series or part 2.

Overall Rating: 8.5/10
I've read this manhwa over 3 times, maybe more. It's just so addicting. I have gotten use to manhwas with storyline revolving the Murim or something of the sorts.
The Breaker starts of like many other mangas/ manhwas - "A student picked on and the arrival of a new mysterious teacher. Student witnesses teacher dominate a fight with ease and pleads/ blackmails said teacher to train him. The secret martial arts world is looking for the mysterious teacher and his student is now at risk." A cliché in my books but I still love it. The first chapters are a bit slow, but it gives you a good background on Shiwon and his interactions with his entourage. As the story progresses, you start to understand what is going on, who Chunwoo is, and the effect he has on the world due to past actions.
The storyline evolves as the chapters progress and the characters evolve has it goes. The artwork improves with time, so do the fight scenes (the are pretty great).
The end made me sad and was left with huge open doors, but the author had already planned for a sequel (I read it and now am waiting for the final arc season 3 of this series). But its not as bad as it sounds. I do recommend this to friends, and I only hope that there would be an anime based on it.

Un cierre con final abierto? Eso quiere decir que va a haber más, verdad? Este volumen deja muchas dudas y teorías de lo que podría pasar en el futuro ahora que Si Woon ha sido nombrado líder, creo que le va a dar una sorpresa a los ancianos del clan Sun Wu y a pesar de los intentos de el dragón de las 9 puertas, su querido alumno regresará al mundo del murim, pero ahora moverá como su enemigo? No lo sé. También quede muy interesada en Kang Sung, es el típico personaje tranquilo, poderoso, sabio y honorable, creo que quiero conocer más de el, aparte de que parece que es el único que puede enfrentarse a Chun Woo, mejor conocido como el dragón de las 9 puertas.

Отличная манхва (хотя я не понимаю в каком месте это мнахва, но ладно). Первый сезон я прочитала дня за три, с огромным трудом отрываясь, и то, только для того чтобы лечь поспать.
Мир мафии и боевых искусств – да, это давно не новинка, но ведь очень важно чтобы все было продумано и хорошо прорисовано. Это есть в данной манхве. Рисовка у нее ни разу не стала хуже, даже наоборот, под конец первого сезона я со вздохом признала что тут все-таки авторы постарались на славу, и такого качества я давненько не видала. Хотя в самом начале, брови… к ним нужно привыкнуть, да и в подальшем на них не будут акцентировать внимания. Главное пережить этот момент.
В манхве есть все – драки, психология (ну, тут избитая тема была выбрана, но можно закрыть на это глаза), романтика (одна из лучших пар когда-либо встречавшихся мне). Герои – каждый со своими заскоками, но характеры у всех сильные. Кста��и, я нашла свою любимую героиню: Со Хо. Такой хитрой лисицы еще не встречала. Она действительно хороша во всем. Учитель тоже персонаж со своей историей, веселый парень, которому многое пришлось пережить, и которому пришлось принять крайне тяжелые решения. Ученик, который нашел свою цель в жизни. И учительница, которую вечно динамят=). Развязка этого сезона оказалась достойной – мне даже стало любопытно, чем это все дело закончится в конечном итоге.
Мой итог: читать следует, убьете несколько вечеров – зато получите удовольствие. Жаль что аниме не снято, выглядело бы оно до безобразия эпично.
А я тем временем приступаю к прочтению второго сезона.
