Everything had been a lie from the moment I woke in the hospital. They had been the very reason I had no memory.
The only truth I had been given was my name.
Everything else they'd told me had been lies. Oliver and I were never married. There had been no miscarriage.
The faeries had stolen my daughter, leaving Oliver and Jin to deal with me. They were supposed to keep me from remembering. I wasn't meant to develop attachments to either of them.
Yet, I stupidly had.
After everything they'd done, I had to find a way to trust them to get me to the Fae Realm and help rescue my daughter. They made a deal with me, and I'll make sure they keep that promise.
With one problem after another, was it any surprise that I managed to attract the attention of a fae that others are terrified of?
Now I have to figure out what was real with Oliver and Jin. I have to learn to trust my instincts and my heart. There's also figuring out why one Wild Fae is offering his assistance to help me, for almost no cost.
4.5!! Picks up right from book one, slight recap. Oliver, Jin, and Zephyr had me laughing out loud.. they’re back and forth? Hilarious! SO MANY QUESTIONS! But hey we added to the harem(;
Beware another cliffhanger!! This books picks up right where book one left off!! Lots of adventure. 3 fated mate bonds 🥵 I loved the different point of views at the ending!
It took a slight turn from what I was expecting. Went from angst and mystery in Book 1 to bickering like children because of trival matters in Book 2.
Basically, I couldn't take it seriously. I tried to find what was so special about the FL, but literally nothing came up since she didn't even know herself. I don't even know what she looks like! All I know it that she got a little tush for the pushing in certain places- (like the majority of the whole world has) but that's it.
She's also a hypocrite to 1 of her mates, and I'm somewhat glad that Oliver mentioned it. And speaking about the mate, all 3 of them are not doing it for me. All they do is argue, bicker, make one jealous, and cockblock amongst another. Theres no description of these men thats not about their appearance. For instance about what was not shown, the FL observing the way the MLS carry themselves, how they talk, the sensuality they carry with slight movements, and basically just their personalities, there's nothing for me to care.🫤 I feel like a dual POV was heavily needed, especially to see the FL.
Their characters are pretty much cut-out, everything is laid out on the table, and It's the most unorganized harem I've seen, especially since the FL didn't want none of this at all! She just wants to save her daughter and gain back her original memories. SMH.
And im hoping we get more insight on who her baby daddy is and if he's going to pop up later in the book. Because there was not one mention of the baby daddy. Like wouldn't it be common for her MATES to bring it up rather she remembers it or not? Or even for her to think about who the father of her child is? Idk chile...don't quote me. ♡♡♡♡ I skimmed past most of the steamy scenes. It doesn't do it for me knowing the FL is kinda a hypocrite and also still sees the MLs as strangers. But she can't deny the mate bond she has with these men and needs them to physically touch her to calm her pain. Except Oliver ofc...😕He's left out throughout the whole book. It's giving coerced.

I liked the concept, but I feel like Book 2 is not up to par with Book 1. Not sure if I will continue this series.
Ribbon of Fate by Ellen Mint is a captivating fantasy novel that tells the story of a woman on a quest to save her daughter from the Fae Realm. The main character wakes up in a hospital with no memory of her past, and soon realizes that everything she has been told about her life is a lie. As she tries to uncover the truth, she discovers that her daughter has been kidnapped by the faeries, and she must trust the very people who have been lying to her to help rescue her child.
The plot is well-paced, with plenty of action and suspense to keep the reader engaged. The characters are complex and multifaceted, with each having their own motivations and secrets. The main character is particularly well-developed, as she grapples with her feelings for two men who have both lied to her. The story also explores themes of trust, love, and sacrifice.
One of the strengths of the book is the world-building. The Fae Realm is vividly described, with its own rules and customs, and the author does a great job of immersing the reader in this fantastical world. The magic system is also well thought-out, with different types of magic and their own limitations.
Overall, Ribbon of Fate is an enjoyable read that will appeal to fans of fantasy and romance. The plot is engaging, the characters are well-developed, and the world-building is immersive. The ending leaves room for a sequel, and readers will be eager to find out what happens next.

"Ribbon of Fate" is book two in the "This Reality" series, and takes the characters to the realm of the Fae... and to Eleanor's third mate. I really enjoyed exploring the fae realm, and watching Oliver and Jin discover their new powers along the way. There is a lot to explore in this second book, first of all the fae world this author created, which comes with a lot of surprises (some light, some dark, and some somewhere in between). I don't want to spoil the surprise by giving away spoilers, but I believe the author created a very interesting fae world, that may look beautiful on the surface but hides a lot underneath...
The growing bond between Eleanor, Jin and Oliver is fascinating to watch, especially once mate three comes into the picture. Even though Jin and Oliver try to make up for the mistakes they made in the past, especially Oliver doesn't seem to have a clue how to deal with women. I thought it was pretty fun to watch him make mistake after mistake... The bond between these four people comes with its own challenges, and the resulting banter added a very fun element to this second book. But the beauty of this second book is in the details; this is seriously a series that gets better and better. And just a side note: I really want a fae bunny after reading this book; I'm hoping to see a lot more of him in book three!
I believe there is so much more to explore in this series, and I truly love this world and the characters in it. I'm very curious to find out what will happen next.
Eleanor wakes up in a hospital after 2 months in a coma, suffering from amnesia. Two doctors tell her she is married to one of them, Oliver, and is a close friend of the other, Jin. Yet Oliver seems very emotionally distant and cold with her. When memories start to come back, she thinks she is going crazy since everyone has told her she does not have a daughter. Who is this daughter she remembers through various ages? When she finally gets to the truth, she finds out that her daughter Rosalyn is real and has been kidnapped by the Fae. The men were there to keep Eleanor unaware of all of this.
Once she knew, she had to trust them to get her into the Fae Realm to begin the search for Rosalyn. Heading to a portal, a guard would not allow them in, but Eleanor felt drawn to the scent of rain and was led to another entrance. A Fae named Jace, who seemed to make the guys nervous or fearful, stepped out from behind a tree. After making a bargain with Eleanor, which she handled expertly by promising the least she could in return, Jace led them where they wanted access. He also told her that Oliver and Jin were Princes! Could she trust them since they were still lying to her? Why was Jace, a Wild Fae, taking an interest in her and helping them? And what is the next step to finding her daughter?
Really enjoyed this book, it has a whole different feel from the first while also being similar. Great sequel, for those wondering yes the spice does pick up more in this book. But also we get to see a whole new world (well new to Eleanor)! This book explores more of the fae world and the different parts of that, touching on fate and destiny, as well as being a whole adventure. If you want a quick summary, Eleanor sets out on a quest to get her daughter back and Oliver and Jin are pulled along with her. You also meet some more characters who have very intriguing stories and get a bit of a better view into how all this magic works. Can't wait to see how everything evolves further in the next one. As a final thought, know I can't be the only one who was facepalming at Oliver the whole book, but maybe he'll learn right?
Great Continuation! This book picks up right where book 1 left off. (I love that the author did a recap of it.) From the start this book had my attention. We get a lot of answers, but we also get new questions. We also meet a new member of the harem. There was adventure, magic, humor, steam and so much more! The banter between Jin and Oliver and Zephyr was great and had me laughing at times. What an ending!! I can't wait for book 3!!! Also, I love that the author added the additional POV at the end.
Wow, the depth of the details that bring this story together are truly amazing. I was feeling a bit lost in the way that Elanor is as she is navigating all of the new information and details as things start to come together. I was captivated by the complexity and was waiting on the edge of my seat as things started to become clear and clearer. I love the way these guys interact with each other their competivness when it comes to how they get to be with Elanor. I am still waiting for Oliver to get his head out of his behind but I can see he is working on it.
The continuation of this epic journey except now we get to experience the fae realm. Lots of fantastic world building, revelations about a mate bond and a missing daughter who foresaw it all! Zei is a great character introduction and I love seeing Jin and Oliver evolve (though I’m ready for the healing between Elle and Oliver!) Also can I just say how much I love this pet bunny?! And the party scene set up was fantastic. Can’t wait to read book 3!
I received a copy of this book free in exchange for an honest review. I have been waiting not so patiently for this book and it’s better then I could have hoped for. Love the fae human story line. Love the refresher at the start of the book. I can’t wait for the next book.
another great entry in the This Reality series, it had everything that I was hoping for when reading this. It had a great story going on and I was hooked from the first page. Overall it had what I enjoyed from the first book and it worked overall. I enjoyed the way Rebekah Margaret Doss wrote this.

So I like that there was a few chapters from other chapters in the end…that’s what this needed but more and spread throughout the book. Multiple POV is a must it feels like a chunk of the story is missing when it’s only single pov. This so far has been an interesting series.
A sequel written with plenty of drama, suspense, intrigue, deceit, lies and possibility of romance. I thought the author wrote a beautifully crafted story which was emotionally engaging and unputdownable.

I can't believe I read this whole thing thinking it was the last book in a duology only for it to end in a cliffhanger. I didn't like book one and only read book two hoping to get answers to all the questions book 1 brought up. I won't be reading book 3. Rage reading book 2 was enough.
Well, this was 110% the RH I wanted to read. And I need more Oliver... I really liked how the story progressed and twists Rebekah threw at us. Also, WE WERE SO CLOSE TO A HEA. But nooooo.
