3.5 stars!

Feisty Firebirds - Evangeline Priest - 3.5 stars!

Remi is an art gallery owner and travels to an area with other world creatures. It’s here she meets Lucian (Lucky). Lucky knows Remi is his soulmate.

“Remi is mine. Only mine. I will do anything to keep her.”

Now he has to convince Remi. Short and sweet with a little spice. There are plans for this story to be expanded. This ends on a HFN/HEA.

Darkflame - Vivienne Hart - 3.5 stars!

Prequel for Adria and Fiero’s story. Adria is mostly human and Fiero is a phoenix. They meet in a bar one evening and have a hot night together.

”Such a good girl,” he says. “Taking all this heat like a champ”

Parting ways in the morning, they hope to see each other again. This was hot and quick and completely unsatisfying 😂😂. Darkflame ends on a cliffhanger of a sorts.

The Grumpy Demon’s Sunshine - Karla Doyle - 3.5 stars!

Dela is given a second chance at life and lives happily in a monster town. It’s here she sets eyes on revenge demon, Raz. These two have an undeniable pull to each other and finally act on their chemistry.

”I wish to please you, to see you smile, to hear you laugh. I wish to protect you from all that could cause you harm or unhappiness. I had no wishes for these things—no wishes of any kind—until you. There is no comparison between the time before you and this time with you.”

Raz is such a refreshing, grumpy and to the point character. I loved his directness and way he took care of and wanted Dela. These two were so sweet and hot and Dela was a lovely heroine with so much love to give. Cute little story with a HEA.

Firebrand - Elle Cross - 4 stars!

Prior to going through her ascension ceremony as a witch, Onyx (Nyx) bonds with her chosen mates.

Mordred - Mothman
Owain- Orc
Logan - Wolven
Thorn - Viper
Doyle - Gargoyle

“You are ours. Only ours. After tonight, all you will ever need to know is our touch, our heat, our love. We will take turns stretching you, filling you. You will know nothing else but us. You are ours, as much as we are yours. Say it. Say that we’re yours.”

A lot happens and Nyx is with her mates at the end but something else has come for her. Firebrand was a little confusing but I loved Nyx and her mates. This was super steamy and delicious and ends on a cliffhanger.

Isolarel’s Inferno - YD La Mar - 2.5 - 3 stars!

Khepria rescues Isolarel, a god, from a curse. This story was kind of depressing and a little hard to follow.

“In Khepria’s love I had found an immortality beyond even the laws of the divine.”

Slightly steamy and not a whole lot of character development, this ends on a HEA.

The Dragon’s Pet - Kassandra Cross - 3 - 3.5 stars

Jane finds herself rescued by a half-man/half-dragon named Volk. It's mating season for Volk and he plans on making Jane his forever.

“We will save each other and take away the loneliness of this world.”

Spicy and quick. The Dragon's Pet ends on a HEA.

The Manicore's Fire - SJ Sanders as Daemoinca Draco - 2.5 stars!

The monster Abby was meant to capture has captured her instead. The biggest problem I have with this author is there is just never a ton of dialogue.

"Then you will remain here as mine. And you will spread your thighs, little human, so that you may be filled completely with my cock. I will fuck you long and hard. I will fill you with every drop of my seed. I will breed and rut and know my pleasure while you scream for your own release and beg me for more."

Smutty with a HEA.

Second Steep - Vera Valentine - 4.5 stars!

Mat is a kitsune and runs his "business" in Bailey's tea/coffee shop. When Unseelie come sniffing Bailey learns about a whole new world and gets a taste of passion.

"I’m perfectly happy to stick with you, as long as you don’t get sick of me.”

“Never, beautiful. You’re just my cup of tea.”

This story gave me Teen Wolf vibes and I loved it. Cute and sexy, this ends on a HFN.

Melded - Wren K. Morris - Did Not Read - No Rating

Incandescent - Rebel Moxie - 4.5 stars!

Cassius the dragon finds his fated mate in Aurelia. These two have been missing a piece of their soul and find it in each other.

“I have been searching for you, Aurelia,”...“for lifetimes, I have sought to find you.” ...“Given up on ever finding you,” ...“and now that I have, I’m never letting you go.”

Insta-love, sweet and smutty. I enjoyed this a lot. I wish it was longer. This ends on a HFN.

Dragon Lily - Clio Evans - 3 stars!

Regina and Lily find love and acceptance together. A short BDSM FF smutty read. Clio is the Queen of dirty yet sweet!

“Everything I have is yours. We’ll build a future together, one full of everything the two of us have yearned for.”

Dragon Lily ends on a HEA.

I am realizing a particular pattern in these tales. Not that I don't like anthologies, REAL anthologies, but I am having a difficult time in reading these now. Oh, they ARE original... until I see the same author rewrite the tale and then sell it as an original tale... No, they do acknowledge that it originally appeared in such and such anthology, but most of them have hardly a significant change.

Makes me feel ripped off.

Now Creepy Court was something clever and different, and I doubt I'll see one or two stories rewritten and published on its/their own. But that was a very special project.

Another feeling of ripoffs is that these collections of anthologies are only available as a very limited printing, even on Amazon. After a few months, they disappear. Nuh-uh. I don't think so. It's been about five years or so when the readers revolted about writers who would include already printed novels at the end of the novel, thus stealing from readers who had previously purchased these added books separately at the full price. Remember that? What a ruckus. Now this is something of the same thing except you won't know if the stories in the anthologies are going to be rewritten at another time as separate novels. Who knows who much will be added per novella/novel. A lot? A little? Kind of a reverse of what had happened five or so years ago.

Another irritation is that there are a few universes I like to read like the Obsidian City/Rift Wars. I'm a completist. I want to read every single little short story or novella that might not have ever reached a full-blown book if it weren't for the anthologies... but these anthologies are only available for how many months before becoming ghosts? (See above.) Uh... NO!! Not fair. The whole point of anthologies is to keep small little amounts of interesting reading material available, small interesting reading material that might never reach the level of a novella or novel. So I might suddenly come across a universe the interests me, only to have lost out on several short stories because I was not aware of their presence in previous anthologies? Is this how the writers want their readers to think about them?

When I was in the publishing business, our motive was to keep EVERYTHING in print, big or small. It didn't matter. That made it fair to EVERYONE!

I really liked "A Manticore's Fire" by SJ Sanders, but that's because I love Sanders' writing skills. Evangeline Priest wrote a small novella called "Feisty Firebirds". But, alas! It's being rewritten for a future re-release in an expanded version! Hell! If that's what Evangeline wants to do, perhaps she should test a reading group in Patreon to see if this tale was warrented, THEN write the real release, all cleaned up and filled out. I expect a lot more because, as suggested, it could be filled out to be a REAL novel, not just the same tale but beefed up a bit. Have other plots and subplots involved, please! Have this to be an arc throughout the tale on how Avalon Vale becomes a monster city of its own, claiming its own originality! It's a good story, but it needs better world-crafting by far.

Please, writers. I know these anthologies might be fun, but don't use it as an excuse to avoid Patreon or your own newsletter. I am facing limited funds. I can't, like five years ago, waste cash. If you plan to republish, then I might be better off picking and choosing authors I trust in telling me a great tale and avoid others I don't necessarily know about. I know it isn't being fair on new authors, but hey! I'm barely making it with Kindle Unlimited now with my book reading habit.

Sigh. Only took me three years to figure this new anthology game. To writers I always want in my personal library, just use that energy to release a whole, original novella/novel the first time. It's usually the correct version.

More Monsters to Love

This time, this Monsters in Love anthology focuses on fire and these stories really set me aflame!
Feisty Firebirds by Evangeline Priest is red hot! Remi and Lucky are the very definition of fast-burn, and the town of Avalon Vale was fascinating. I’d love to see this story more fleshed out, as well as more from this quaint little town.
Darkflame by Vivienne Hart is a sexy little interlude between a Phoenix (Fiero) and a not-quite-human (Adria). Their bedroom activities were read hot and I loved it!
The Grumpy Demon’s Sunshine by Karla Doyle was oh so sweet and just the right amount of spicy. Razbunare and Dela were such an odd yet perfect couple and their happily ever after was just delightful.
Firebrand by Elle Cross is the start of what looks to be a very interesting series. Onyx comes into her powers with an explosive bang, but her monster mates are there to save her. I’m interested to see where this story goes.
Delving into the world of Egyptian mythology, Isolarel’s Inferno by YD La Mar bring together Isolarel and Khepria and gives new meaning to “in sickness and in health”. This story has a very different feel to it, and I loved how it spanned from meeting to eternal life together.
Dragon’s Pet by Kassandra Cross brings us Jane, who makes some truly stupid decisions, and Volk, her winged rescuer. There were redeeming moments in this book, but not the best story in this anthology.
The Manticore’s Fire by S J Sanders was a treat to read! I loved the lush in exotic local, and the enemies-to-lovers aspect between Samir and Abby was delicious.
Second Steep by Vera Valentine was a wonderful short story that introduces Mat and Bailey, along with the Second Steep tea/coffee house and the hidden magical work that further explored in ‘Milk and Honey’. I loved the tongue in cheek banter about bad porno lines and innuendo, and the chemistry between Mat and Bailey was read hot!
Melded by M K Morris was just perfect - spicy, insta-list, meaningful conversations, “stickilng it to the man”, and fantastic possibilities as a conclusion. AL.X and Aubrey where dynamite together and I loved it!
Incandescent by Rebel Moxie is a lovely mix of “nonsensical and fantastical”, with an ancient dragon and a women who is drifting, never quite whole. I loved how it ended with bot entreating the other to be patient with them - very important relationship advice!
Dragon Lily by Clio Evans is a spicy tale with a sweet finish. A dragon and a naiad - a lovely dichotomy of D/s dynamics and pleasure. A great little read.
Once again, the Monsters In Love anthology delivers high quality stories with plenty of romance and steam (extra hot this time)!

Feisty Firebirds by Evangeline Priest
A new ‘monster’ town has emerged from The Mist and is welcoming humans for the first time.
Gallery owner, Remi, receives an invitation, and hopes she can find new artists to represent after losing much of her business to her recent ex-employees who opened their own rival gallery.
The moment Lucky sees her he knows she’s his fated mate, but he’s reclusive and their first meeting is tense.
A slow burn spicy, quick take of finding and accepting unexpected but true love.

Grumpy Demon’s Sunshine by Karla Doyle
You can only find Fate’s Falls if it’s meant to be, if you’re meant to enter.
Dela has survived death and was shown the way to this unique town. Since arriving she has found true friends, comfort and peace. She’s also developed an attraction to the giant, red, horned vengeance demon that comes into the coffee shop where she works.
Raz was drawn to the coffee shop and returns to be in the presence of the intoxicating woman who works there.
These two are so cute together. She’s a human recovering from mental and physical abuse, unsure of herself in many ways but getting stronger. He’s factual to a fault, unsure of how to understand human reactions and subtlety, but desperate to please Dela. Together they fit and feelings that have no place in a vengeance demon are soon taking him over.
Some darker issues that may cause triggers, but overall a sweet, slow-burn romance with a spicy later half and a cute HEA.

Darkflame by Vivienne Hart
A quick and steamy prequel. Witness the steamy meeting between Adria and Fiero, (a descendant of a fire god and a Phoenix). Looking forward to the full story.

Firebrand by Elle Cross
Full of action, drama, suspense and a whole truck load of magic. With bond mates, a virgin sacrifice and a big, bad, something being called forth from an unknown portal, Nyx is in a world of trouble.
This is an action packed, steamy and intriguing start to what promises to be one interesting new series.

Dragon’s Pet by Kassandra Cross
A determined hiker finds herself in trouble when darkness falls and a mountain lion finds her. She is rescued by an impossible creature, half man half dragon, Volk, has found his mate. They find and save each other.

Isolarel’s Inferno by YD LA Mar
Can a mortal’s love save a cursed Demi god from a eternity of pain? Find out how Khepria takes on the immortals to save Isolarel.

These stories and more in an anthology of myths and magical stories.

I really enjoyed this anthology. I love how different all the stories are and some very talented authors here. I reviewed two of the stories:

The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine by Karla Doyle

'Looking into [her eyes] brings a lightness unlike anything I have experienced and cannot resist returning to. And, in the moments when I am alone, free of the noise of the worlds above and below, memories of her voice flow through my mind, flooding me with an unfamiliar combination of peace and longing.
I did not think myself capable of those… feelings.

I really loved this story. I absolutely loved the town of Fate's Falls (too bad I can't live there myself!) and was fascinated by it immediately. I loved both Raz and Dela. They had such great chemistry. I could picture Raz's grumpy face and deadpan so well! The way he is captivated by her and tries to understand her. She is very drawn to him as well, though thinks he has no interest in her. What her ex-boyfriend did to her was horrible, but was a very interesting beginning for her story. A very fun read. 5 stars.

Feisty Firebirds by Evangeline Priest

“She is mine,” I declare through gritted teeth.
My brother’s gaze meets mine. “Prove it. Make her sing for you. Give her the chance to choose you. Until then, you haven’t earned the right to sulk and moan about it. And you damn well haven’t earned the right to beat anyone bloody over it.”

I enjoyed this story. I liked the setting and I loved the Wolven- especially Vane. I like Remi- and was steaming mad at what her ex-employees were doing to her. I actually had to stop and breathe and force myself not to try and think of ways to legally and physically go after them (if I were in Remi's position). Jonah was awesome and I loved his support of Remi. He also made me laugh and I loved his personality. Lucky's introverted ways were something I could relate too. It made me smile that he was resisting the call of his mate, but also possessive. Not a meet-cute meeting, but I like how they met and how she eventually discovered he is the artist of some pieces she's interested in. I'm looking forward to the expended version of this story! 4 stars

OK, so this collection has a little bit of everything for everyone. First off, I appreciate the fact that the authors gave us personal notes on what to expect in their story. Trigger warnings and how detailed and explicit the adult scenes were. So, having said that, I jumped straight into the juiciest one🤣

Darkflame: Vivienne Hart
Damn I love a woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go and get it. Adria and Fiero just blew my mind. Hot 🔥 is putting it mildly. I didn't want this intoxicating encounter to end. The only downside was that it was too short. I need their continuing saga now 😁 A brilliant read.💜

Dragons Pet : Kassandra Cross
Dragons are my kryptonite. Jane obviously feels the same way, too. Once she gets over her initial shock of seeing and learning about Volk, she goes weak at the knees and other places, too. After being abandoned, Volk's desires come full throttle. What a way for Jane to go. An amazing read. Who needs anything else when you have the biggest predator to protect and care for you?. This is a hot 🔥 🔥🔥 one. 💜

Dragon Lily : Clio Evans
This definitely was an eye opener.... and in the most beautiful way. A Dragon and a Naiad. Both knowing what they feel about each other but are also too scared to ask for more. Their love shines in this read. Lily comes off as the shy submissive one, but in reality, she's also the one in charge too 💜. A sweet, sweet love story with a HEA 💜

These are just a few of my favorites. Happy reading to everyone.

The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine

This review is for the story The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine by Karla Doyle

I really enjoyed this OTT, grumpy/sunshine, demon/human, PNR romance. Dela is a young woman who moved to Fate's Falls two years ago and is starting over. She found out about the town after literally dying and then waking up only to find a card in her hand with the name. She knew she needed to leave her abusive boyfriend, as he was responsible for her death, and so she slipped away with nothing but her life. Razbunare, aka Raz, is a Vengeance Demon who is big, red, has horns, does not have a heart and is good at his job of collecting souls who trade them for vengeance on someone. But two years ago he started to change and moved to Fate's Falls. He had a cabin built on the outskirts of town and has stayed mainly to himself. But six months ago something called to him and he was drawn to the coffee shop and the beautiful, small and sunshine young woman who works as a barista during the day. It seems that the demon has found his sunshine but he does not know how to get her. Lucky for him this is Fate's Falls and fate is about to push these two together.
I really loved this inventive and engaging story. It is sweet, naughty, fun, entertaining, smexy overload, and an easy read.

Monsters in Love: Lost in the Fire has some excellent stories. My favorites -

The Dragon's Pet by Kassandra Cross
Jane leaves the safety of the hiking tour to continue on her own up Mount Vulcan. When night falls she finds herself in a dire situation. The dragon of the mountain comes to her rescue, and she finds mates are real.

The Manticore's Fire by SJ Sanders
Abby Sinclair has struggled in establishing herself as a monster hunter. It's not her fault that she's a bit squeamish and gets motion sick traveling to the hunt. But when her family takes off for a job she's ready to take on something of her own. Only the manticore she's hired to end is way more than she's been taught a monster can be.

Second Steep by Vera Valentine
Mat is a kitsune tied to Second Steep, the tea shop turned coffee shop. He deals with the paranormal: helping people find the people or items they need, passing on messages, etc. A visit from some dark forces reveals him to the daughter of the owners, and she has to save him.

Melded by Wren K Morris
AL.X is an android only days old, but knows he must keep his sentience a secret from those who made him. But the blacksmith hired to make improvements to his body sees the special person inside and is willing to take on those in charge to save him.

This review is for The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine story only.

This was a grumpy/sunshine paranormal romance.

I adored this sweet feel good story with its unique characters. Would recommend!

Dela is a coffee barista at The Brew. She was unalived by her ex-boyfriend and returned to life by a reaper. Raz is her favorite customer and she has a crush on him.

Razbunare is a revenge/vengeance demon. He was created by hell fire to grant humans revenge wishes and gets their souls for his Master.

They are both fairly new residents of Fate's Falls, a protected place where monsters of all types live in harmony along with some humans. Dela tries to flirt with Raz at the coffee shop but he misunderstands. One morning at the waterfall Dela bumps into Raz and they chat clearing up their misunderstanding. She kisses him and asks him to be her date to her friends wedding. They hook up and go public with their relationship. She finds out he saved her life. They get their HEA.

Dela is a waitress and one of her co workers teases her when a certain being walks in. She moved to Fate’s Falls to get away from a human man who is dangerous to her. Her boyfriend tried to kill her but brought back then welcomed to this town.
Raz is a revenge demon who comes to this coffee shop for his regular. He is unsure as to why he thinks of her. But in rare moments he thinks of her voice. Returning home he thinks maybe he should talk to her boss, a Minotaur, who is very protective. If he can't keep him away then he may need to return to hell. But then he wouldn't see Dela. He walks out of the water and sees Dela. She's there to see the falls. He wants something with her but his "job" makes it difficult. Will he be able to justify himself and his job to his satisfaction or hers?
Will Dela become his personal sunshine?
A cute story.

The Grumpy Demon’s Sunshine by Karla Doyle is the story of Dela, a barista who has made a home in a town inhabited by a lot of monsters and Raz, a vengeance demon. The two have been making googly eyes at each other for a while without realizing they both have caught feelings. But can two creatures that different find their happily ever after?
This is a very sweet and funny story with two very lovable protagonists. Dela is lovely and strong and Raz is truly hilarious in his deadpan reactions and peculiar way of speaking, without being the least bit ridiculous. Oh no, the demon is scorching hot! The whole story is, really, both steamy and adorable. Also, it is not just your fun and quirky monster love story, it touches upon serious issues and has quite a plot twist at the end. It’s a short story but leaves you with the satisfaction of reading a full novel. Highly recommend!

This review is for part of this anthology, the Grumpy Demon’s Sunshine, written by Karla Doyle. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first started reading, and was a little apprehensive about it, but I was pleasantly surprised and found I really enjoyed this cute story. It was actually much cuter than I’d expected it to be!

You have an FMC who’s had a tough go of it in her life, but she gets a second chance. She still manages to be all the sunshine-y goodness that surprisingly draws in a vengeance demon, the MMC. I really loved them together!

There’s a bit of pining, sweetness, and some unique steam. It’s a very quick read, but if you’ve ever read any of Karla’s stories, you’ll love this one. I know I did!

This review is for: The Grumpy Demon’s Sunshine by Karla Doyle

The town of Fate’s Falls is a protected place for monsters who live there in harmony, and it is where coffee barista Dela finds a haven after her ex performs an irredeemable act against her.
Razbunare a revenge demon who was created without a heart finds out what it is to have one as he visits the coffee shop daily where she works just to be in her presence.
I throughly enjoyed this well written short story whose characters were engaging, and world a delight to spend time in as the reader was invited into Dela and Razbunare’s sweetly captivating romance. With some humor, a little twist, passion and emotion complimenting the narrative this was a definite chef’s kiss of a read!.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved the world building, the rivalry between Remi and her former associates, and the grumpy firebird who unexpectedly found his mate.

I cannot wait for the fully expanded version to come out because I am not ready to say goodbye to Lucky and Remi! I need to see their relationship grow even more and for her to get her revenge!

Second Steep by Vera Valentine
4⭐️ 2🌶️

Yeah, it’s official, I never left my kitsune era. This quick and spicy read was exactly what I needed today.

I loved Matt and Bailey, they were so cute together. I’m a sucker for mutual pining and the quick pace of this novella meant it didn’t have to wait too long for circumstances to force them together.

I can’t wait to explore this world more and read Milk and Honey. I hope these two make an appearance!

This review is for the short story - The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine by Karla Doyle

A story about finding your fated mate, and thankfully it's not a shape shifter story. Instead it's about a vengeance demon and a human who has been returned from death to continue living out her life in Fate Falls - the town that houses all sorts of creatures in harmony. After seven months of pining for one another, a chance meeting at the waterfall leads them to act on those feelings. Then it's a quick moving relationship. The ending when it's discovered what their first meeting really was is just an absolutely perfect way to end a romance story.

This was my first Vera story and I can happily say it won't be my last. While I was kinda expecting sentient objects, I won't complain about this hot and witty fox shifter and his boss' daughter. Mat and Bailey were too sweet and I loved their spice too. I'm so excited to grab Milk and Honey for more of this world and I hope Vera expands on this story too.

This was practically all spice, but it was delicious spice and had a sweet happily ever after. A dragon domme and her water nymph sub, lots of toys and a little bit of fire.

"The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine" by Karla Doyle:
Razbunare/Raz (H), a vengeance demon, discovers unexpected emotions after eons of fulfilling humans' revenge wishes. Settling in Fate's Falls, he encounters Dela (h), a gentle coffee barista who ignites feelings he never thought possible. Review for The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine by Karla Doyle

The town of Fate Falls is mostly inhabited by monsters. Dela relocates there after the Reaper gives her a second chance. She works as a barista, but has strong feelings when Razbunare a revenge demon comes into the shop.

Raz has a thing for the little human from the coffee shop, there is something about that makes everything better. What she does not know is that he has had his eyes on her for sometime.

This is steamy read, story about a demon and a human, just what they both need.

🐦‍🔥 ARC Review: Feisty Firebirds 🐦‍🔥

I am reviewing Evangeline Priest's story from the always talented & amazing Authors of the Monsters in Love Anthologies.

Vol. 5: Lost in the Fire is the new gift to all of us. "Feisty Firebirds" is an Avalon Vale Story which is part of the Obsidian Rift Universe. If you haven't read any of Evangeline's work, a brief back story is provied about the Rift Wars (humans vs otherkin), fallout from the wars, monster cities appearing, otherkin & their magic explained etc. It is another slice-of-life story that follows art gallery owner Remi Storm being invited to the newly publicized monster-controlled city for an art festival. Her loyal friend & assistant Jonah (who provides some snarky, fun comedy relief) travels with her. Remi meets
Lucky Blaze, a grumpy firebird with a traumatic past from the Rift Wars. At first meet, she doesn't know he is the artist that is the work she has been admiring. They have a few awkward meets. We learn from Lucky how firebirds discover their soulmates... The sex is definitely fiery between them! 🔥🥵 A quick read; looking forward to the expanded story coming out later in 2024.

I’ll post separate reviews for each story I read from this anthology below 😊

Second steep by Vera Valentine
5/5 ⭐️
3/5 🌶️

This isn’t my first time reading Vera and I knew I’d love this story. This cute short story captured me from the beginning. A fox with 3 tales? So cute and I couldn’t handle how smitten he was with the barista. I wish there was a longer version of this story! I really liked it 😊

The Dragons pet by Kassandra Cross.
5/5 ⭐️
2/5🌶️

I really liked this short story by Kassandra. The dragon was into breath play which I thought was incredibly hot and I really liked how they both had a lot of chemistry together!

It's an anthology that mixes differ authors writing styles.

There are mild and then there were steamy numbers that had me frustrated at times and panting for more at others (which I must say is par for the some authors). While I did get annoyed with the some of the bratty or seemingly dimwitted FMCs - to be honest, when do I not think this 😉 - it was not enough for me to stop reading. Mostly it was typical tropes with expected plots, but the authors gave us enough changes to the plots and character development that it felt like it was an original story between the MMCs and FMCs.

This review is for Kara Doyles The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine.

Oh my heart! This is how a novella should be written. I ploughed through this in an hour, yet it didn't feel rushed and now I'm going to re-read it was so beautiful! Raz is an 8 foot hell demon who metes out human revenge wishes. I love how he just speaks how he sees - having no emotions, and it was even better watching him develop those feelings for human Dela. Loved the steam, and the twist at the end was the icing on the cake!.

Review for The Grumpy Demon’s Sunshine by Karla Doyle

I absolutely loved this story!! Human, Dela, survived her death and was sent by the reaper to Fates Falls. Since her arrival she made true friends, felt she had found her home and fell in love with grumpy demon, Raz. Raz was a centuries old demon. Demons didn’t have emotions or feelings but Dela was making him feel!! Sweet, steamy story with amazing chemistry, true love, fun, laughter and a wonderful HEA.

Well, this was such a great collection of stories, I loved them all!
Feisty Firebirds by Evangeline Priest was such a touching story, all about finding the right place and person for you even when things look tough. I do love a grumpy man who melts for his lady and Lucky was just that .I also loved it when Remi got her own back on Leisel and Addison!
Also loved Darkflame by Vivienne Hart, it was just enough of a taster to get me hooked and wanting to read more about Adria and Fiero's story.
As I said, lots of great, varied story's in this anthology, get it while you can.

Razbunare/Raz a grumpy demon finds his sunshine in Dela a human who was killed by her ex and brought back by a reaper. I loved the town of Fate Falls and all the interesting characters that live there. Dela and Raz's journey of monster love is filled with humor, crazy fun banter, steam, and a story that held my attention from beginning to end. The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine is a great addition to the Monsters in Love: Lost in the Fire anthology and I look forward to reading the rest of the stories. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This review is for ISOLAREL'S INFERNO

First off I don’t read many actual monster romances. I do if they are Yds tho lol. It was different but that’s the point of reading is to read new things. I loved the concept of the story but wish I knew more. As with all novellas lol. I’m curious to know how he upset the gods to begin with. I loved how she was a fierce female and standing up for a stranger and showing them kindness when he didn’t have any or anyone to show him such
