This is a delightful read along with a cuppa! Who doesn't love the story of a farmer and his gourd! Very funny ~ I chuckled out loud several times. There are pumpkins that (in real life) people hollow out and use for boat races! I think PF might have been achieved growing one that size had it not been for his unusual neighbours! The author has an amazing imagination!
If you have a chance also read A Wisp Of Murder by the same author ....a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read as well.
Delightful little mystery with some very interesting and eccentric characters. Paul is certainly a patient grounded main character and I look forward to more mysteries with him and the quilting ladies!

loved this book
I really enjoyed this book. PF wanted to purchase land to increase his pumpkin patch. No one knew who owned it. Then mysterious things started happening. I sure didn’t expect what happened next.
