Rhiannon's Revenge

Rate this book
Within an ancient grimoire lies the answers Eilish Bohannon needs. But is the book helping her? Or only helping to get her killed…

Ian takes Eilish and Anya to the portal he discovered that leads to the Netherworld, where they find the grimoire and the spirits of their murdered parents. Eilish finds there’s more standing in her way of assuming her destiny as the role of the High Priestess of the Bohannon Coven than just unlocking the secrets of the grimoire…

Fina and Warrick.

Eilish’s powers increase after sealing the blood covenant with the vampire Ian Cross, and doubts are raised when she upstages Fina at the Samhain Sabbat. That makes Fina and Warrick more dangerous than ever, with their position in the coven now being questioned.

With direction from the grimoire, Eilish and Ian head to Beltany, an ancient circle of standing stones in Ireland, where the local coven recognizes the foretold return of the Bohannon witch with snow-white hair. The coven aids them in a ritual where the Goddess Rhiannon appears, conducts a handfasting, and oversees the consummation of their union, where the next Bohannon High Priest is conceived. But Rhiannon warns Ian that Eilish is his to protect, but not keep.

The quest tosses them into a series of confrontations for control of the coven, leading to an epic battle that pits sister against sister in a power struggle where there can be only one victor.

This dark and imaginative paranormal story by International Bestselling Author Emily Bex has romance as hot as a steamy Charleston summer with a pinch of Wiccan magic, a little mystery, and a lot of murder.

Really enjoyed reading the conclusion to Rhiannon's Circle. Lots of twists that I didn't see coming and the end was a bit emosh too.
Won't spoiler it but the end is linked to the Medici series so you will pleasantly surprised. I know I was 😊

Omg what a book

As a girl who fell head over heels for the Medici warriors books I know that a new a different series from an author is a risk..
But Wow! You guys are gonna love Eilish and Ian, Anya and Carter and the story that just wraps around you and squeezes you right before letting you go in a woosh.. Rhiannon's Revenge sees a whole lot happen to our favourite witches and in the end everything is as it should be..
Even better is the sneaky suprise ....Read it you'll find out. 😉

This author never fails to amaze me! This is the 2nd and final book in this duology. From page one I was hooked. It is full of action and suspense and you just can't read fast enough. The love the characters share and the family unit is strong! It has everything you could want in a book. The author had me laughing, crying, happy, mad and at the end after I cried through a chapter, I was in complete shock. This book is absolutely fantastic and addictive!! I am already thinking about reading it again. I will not give away spoilers, I am watching what I say doing this review!! This book deserves your full attention. You will not be sorry, if I could give it 10 stars I would. Believe me it deserves it!!!

This is undeniably one of the worst books I’ve ever read. It reads like it was penned by a dim, horny teenager with a penchant for angst and swearing. Ridiculous. I feel like I need a mental mouthwash to remove this detritus from my brain.

Wow! My anticipation for book two in this series was well rewarded! Once again, we are taken on a roller coaster ride! As in this author’s writing style…the ending will leave the reader with the mouth hanging open and definitely did not see this one coming! The intricate details with the words in these books mean you should take them literally but also try to look for the hidden agenda! Eilish, Ian, Anya and Carter will have to make very hard choices; especially Ian and Eilish. Their stories are written in the stars. The love between these four will make you sigh, wishing for your own! As with Kate and Shade, this is another saga! The things we know from the first series…why is it not the same here? Such powerful beings…yet they shall suffer tremendously. I cannot believe this will be the end of their story! The choices put upon Eilish are so very hard, but she will have to face the wishes of Rhiannon! She never wanted what her fate had set before her. Everyone is in danger. It will take the combined efforts of these four to hopefully fulfill fate. What and who will be lost in the process? An intricately woven story that will transcend time. There is one character though that will make you laugh out loud…you will wish she is a part of your family! There are no words that can describe the experiences of reading any of this author’s books! It took me a full day to even formulate this review which is a poor rendition of her writing capabilities! You HAVE and NEED to check out not only these two books, but her other series as well…The Medici Warrior saga! They made me breathless, blown away, and I even cried these people were such a huge part of my life! Go…grab all of them now~

Definitely worth picking up this book. You won’t regret it.
This is the second book in this two book series. The first book ends on a cliffhanger and this book quickly picks up right where the first one left off. When I ended this book, I got the feeling that someday in the future, this two book set will be recommended to be read before the Medici Series.
The books contains everything needed for a book that I would label a guilty pleasure. Going to need to label that because many things didn’t get done because I needed to know how the chapter ended. The characters are unforgettable and really cry out for more books. This book is the total package with the way the author is able to bring the characters and story to life. It is one of those books that you curl up with a good cup of tea, a box of tissues and a bag of chocolates. It should come with a warning to strap on your seatbelt and get ready for the emotional roller coaster ride of your life. I laughed and cried. Needed pompoms to cheer at points as well as high negative emotions with their sister Fina that I wished I had purchased a damnit doll. I absolutely cheered on the two sisters in their need to face their sister as they were growing up to adulthood and finding partners of their own and growing their family.
Overall the two books were so well written that I’m sure I will read them again at some point and have definitely recommended the series to friends.
Very well done Emily Bex. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next thing you write.

Eilish and Anya are trying to figure out how to deal with Fina and Warrick. They know the full truth of what they did to her parents and what they hid from them. Eilish has no choice but to learn what the book has to say to her.
Eilish and Anya are going to have to make huge life decisions with what is happening. Will the men in their lives stay or get harmed. This will go from bad to worse quickly for them all, will they survive for Eilish to take her rightful place as high priestess.

This book was so good. The twist and turns have you reading to find out the next reveal. You will have so many different emotions as you are reading this. You will have a book hangover and still want more of this series. I loved my time with these characters, highly recommend.

The perfect duology. Emily Bex just keeps putting out hit after hit. If you’re looking for your next read or even a new to you author this is it. This is the second book in the Bohannon sisters duology. This book basically has it all. If you’re looking for love, romance, heartbreak, sibling rivalry, power plays and unexpected surprises then this is the series for you. One thing that I’ve learned reading this series is to always expect the unexpected. This book continues to take you on the wild ride with the Bohannon sisters. You will absolutely love it. I would read them in order so you know what’s going on.

Emily Bex has done it yet again with Rhiannon's Revenge, the second book in the Bohannon Witches duology. This book has it all! Forbidden love, betrayal by a loved one that was placed in a position of trust. Revenge and truths revealed. This book is captivating from the first to the very last page. A happy ending and a very nice little Easter egg in the final pages of the book for those faithful Emily Bex readers. The book storyline around Wicca was very well researched. So without further hesitation I welcome you into the word of Seraphina,Eilish and Anya the Bohannon sisters.

Though I had to finish the series, I was disappointed at how much fluff was written. Everyone's trying to mimic 50 Shades of Gray which is overrated. I was expecting more of a dark mystery with more magic rather than a book that had characters flippantly speaking as if they were still teenagers, trying to "out cuss" each other and conversations that continuously repeated themselves as if the characters were not listening to each other. Now, don't get me wrong, I have a potty mouth and am no prude, but there was very little depth to this story.

Awesome ending.

I have to start by saying, drinking and driving, along with not putting infants in car seats when you drive is not cool. I’m shocked it was even included in this story. Aside from that, I loved the sequel. I laughed really hard, and i cried the same way. So much emotion in this book. The characters are wonderfully emotional and it wasn’t hard to fall in love with most of them. I definitely recommend this book and series to everyone!!!

I see dead people

Emily, you did it again! Bravo lady! It was a great story and you tied it all up with a big bow. The characters had substance and depth and I could see them as I read. Not everyone can do that. You scared me at the last but thank the goddess for Henwen! Thank you.

What a great way to end a duology. All the loose ends from book one were tied off neatly. The girls finally got their happy ends even if they had to fight tooth and nail to get them and their older sister met her end at the hands of the army that Emric has been so diligently waiting for.

Great (2) Book Read

A fun and exiting new series from one of my favorite authors of the Medici Warriors series. It will keep you enthralled to the very end. Those of you who have read the Medici series will definitely be surprised as a secret is revealed about Ian Cross. Enjoy and have fun .

Wow if you loved the first book you will adore the exciting ending.
The twists just kept on coming.
This book took me on a magical journey with an ending I didn’t see coming but loved.
Not a traditional HEA for everyone... but an ending that gave us the HEA that was as it should be.
Must read.

Spoiler alert* I loved how they took care of their sister in this book as well as Warrick. It was a fitting sentence for her to be locked in the Netherworld. However, I feel like leaving Final Fantasy alive is a mistake that will come back to haunt them.
