Otis and Gail are married and have been forever, but after four kids, Gail is no longer the woman he fell in love with, nor does he desire her anymore. Deciding to get back to his old self, Otis shoots his shot with a baddie one day at a gas station. From that point on, he’ll be in too deep. Will he make the biggest mistake of his life and lose his family? Or will he discover what he has before it’s too late.
Gail Jones loves her family and wouldn’t trade them for the world. Meeting Otis in high school and falling in love with him was the best thing that could have ever happened to her. Although she knows her image has changed, in her mind, her and Otis’s love should be stronger than ever. Trying to make her husband love her isn’t working anymore, but will Gail continue to try to make him see what he could lose?
I really tried to like this book but it read like it was a novel for young adults. Otis was a stupid entitled ass and Gail was a weeping unhappy woman in denial. I don't know what to say about Gween as all that we know about her is what she looks like and what kind of car she drives. Does she even have a job? I'm still confused about who Timothy/David is. Otis emotional abuse of Gail was too much for me. Looking forward to something better from this author because I think she has potential.
Otis wasn’t nothing nice. I wanted Gail to gain a backbone so bad. But this is reality this happens in life. A man don’t know what he has until it becomes a what he had! I hope Gail finds her some happiness Otis don’t deserve Gail or Gwen
i loved this, when how this one ended. Finally someone got what they deserved because of their actions. I liked how this story came together! It was very entertaining!!
I’m so glad that Gail was able to woman up and divorce her cheating husband Otis! I wanted to hate Gween but in the end she was also sucked in by Otis too! Enjoyed the story!
You've got to hate this man, Otis, for the way he treats his woman, and for a big part of this book I was as mad as hell with him. But then, I think I just felt sorry for him, because he missed the point and he'll never be happy. Since I don't want to give away much, you'll just have to read this book yourself and find out. One thing is for sure, if a book gets you into its story this way and stirs you up so badly, it's a definite must-read. Both thumbs up from me.
