If you liked this book, great. It was not for me. So many things I didn't like but the final straw was the lotion. I DNF this at 50%. I really did try.

DID NOT FINISH: 31%
He’s extremely annoying. I wish Dariana killed him in his sleep like she wanted to. He constantly refers to himself in the third person, but it’s not consistent. He’s an airhead and I had trouble believing characters when they said he’s intelligent. I couldn’t see it. There’s so much fluff the story gets lost. And the final straw for me was when he starts kissing her without her permission when she’s asleep, then moves on to manipulate her into letting him do other stuff. It felt super yucky because he started talking to her as if explaining things to a child, like “you’ll like this” or “I need to touch you where you’ll like it best”. And the way he talks about her being a virgin is so cringe. Besides, the “villain” had some very valid points against Tylden and his friends, they were absolute assholes and I wished some dragon killed them in their next campaign. I can’t continue.

A fun ride: Witty, loved the banter and multiple POVs

This is definitely worth the read! I jumped in without having read the first book, not sure if this would be closed door, but it was steamy. There were a few typos but the story was good enough it didn't distract. If you are debating whether to pick it up, do it! The personalities translate onto the page and I really appreciate that talent it takes to really execute different POVs. The MMC is a bit of an arrogant gigolo (at first) so if that's a big turnoff, this might not be a good fit. The story probably won't rock your world and have you ruined for all other books or contemplating the meaning of life, but there is action, romance, character growth, and a HEA, and it's well-written. 4.5 ⭐!

a difficult book to rate, because I liked the story okay, but I despise MMC referring to himself in 3rd person, there were formatting inconsistencies and grammatical errors often, and I so disliked the way the all is lost was handled.
it was cute, though. a cute story. 2.5. not a reread.
