Long Jump & Triple Jump: From the Ground Up

Rate this book
I began coaching the long and triple jumps in 2007. Since then, I have amassed a gigantic number of resources, progressive drill protocols, videos, and coaching connections. This didn't happen overnight though. I have worked diligently to soak up as much information as possible in the hopes of supporting as many coaches, athletes, and parents as possible. I've read countless books, I've talked with a massive number of other coaches in hopes of developing myself, I've bought every resource I felt would support my goals, and I offered my coaching services for free in hopes of supporting others and being my best self.In 2017 I started the website www.longandtriple.com in hopes of reaching an even larger audience. Since then, I have worked with people from around the globe and have reached a level of success that I never dared to imagine was possible. With that success, the hunger to support others never waivered, but grew more intense. In 2018 I began writing this book, and have done all I thought possible to make it the most comprehensive and informative resource on the market. I want nothing less, than for this book to be the difference maker needed to bring these two events the attention and support they truly deserve. With that said, here are a few highlights that make this book truly different from the other resources you'll There are over 100 audio/visual resources.2.) There are numerous progressive drill protocols so you'll never need to second guess what drills to use.3.) There are surveys at the end of most chapters as a way to reach out and ask clarifying questions or share your ideas4.) There will never be a 2nd edition. Updates will be provided free of charge.5.) There are ways to be supported beyond simply reading the book!6.) The book itself gives a comprehensive understanding of the long and triple jump from the youth level all the way through college. There's not other resource like this! I am supremely confident you will not regret your purchase.

I got the opportunity to meet Ryan at the WISTCA conference this past February. I was impressed with his knowledge and enthusiasm for triple and long jump. Purchasing and thoughtfully reading his book was a eye opening experience. Anyone who’s ever coached track and field at any level should give this a read.
