In a theatre of ten thousand people, two set of eyes meet; Miles McKinnon, the prodigal son, billionaire playboy, and Della the perfectionist token-black ballerina who doesn’t have time for men.
At an afterparty, Miles nearly tackles Della to save her from an oncoming hors d’oeuvre tray, and there they are, embraced, eye to eye, adrenaline pumping, wondering what’s come over them. Their chemistry is both instantaneous and like nothing either has ever felt.
Miles is not the cold, emotionally unavailable alpha, nor is Della the damsel who’d make it her life’s mission to soften his heart. Miles has a sense of humor. He also has a sudden need for Della to pretend to be his fiancé for a week. Their faux relationship starts turning real, but no sooner does Miles’s toxic family and some very sinister terms of an international business deal get in the way, forcing Miles and Della to question everything.

A Pimp In The Pulpit The Work-Husband Caper The Harvest Karma Wears Versace KWV II: Man Eater The Waymaker The Things We Bring To The Table Della: The Ballerina And The Billionaire
Miles and Della are not at all what you think a prim ballerina and a billionaire businessman are in characters. The are really two fun loving people who fall prey to the insta love. Della is kinda up tight at times and start really unnecessarily arguments but she really is the perfect girl for Miles. This couple endure a great deal of hardship, but you find it may have been needed for them to mature into the successful people they become. I do wish the ending would have given more of this couples happy ever after. I enjoyed this read!
Came across my own novel and thought I'd use this space to a little something about it. Della is not the typical heroine in a billionaire novel who has 0 interest in money. She is such a well-rounded character and she is as real as you or me. Money is important and sp is love. Miles is not the typical cold hearted billionaire. He has swag and even a sense of humor. And like all my novels, the theme is pro-black and the plot is thick! Enjoy!
