I just could not stop with Kayla and Mason. I want to be friends with them🥹 I love how every one of these characters would do anything for each-other. From football games, to just getting coffee. I can not emphasize enough that the angst and spice is just the perfect amount too!!

MASON and KAYLA
After that crazy end in Game Changer with Kay lying bleeding on the floor after she took a punch meant for Mason, everyone has gone feral.
The ambulance arrives and rushes Kayla to the hospital immediately. Kayla has a concussion, needs stitches and has a broken jaw, for which she will need surgery, but she will be fine.
The whole family, and when I say the whole family, I mean everyone, not just her brother and Mason, but everyone arrives, even the Kings.
Despite the situation, they press is after them and now the days of being anonymous are over. Mason and Kayla has become official King and Queen of college football with everyone wanting a piece of them. Vultures have eyes everywhere are somehow even the hospital pictures are getting leaked, so much so that even others are getting hurt.
Kayla is struggling with bringing all this negative attention to Masons life.
“You.” He stares directly into my eyes. “Are. Everything.” The breath gets stuck in my lungs. “All that other stuff is just gravy.”
There are some residual secrets that get uncovered and things begin to make a lot more sense and even the foundation for the other stories that are to come are laid down. Some decisions have been made that will upset a lot of people, but Mason and Kayla are both Playing for Keeps
“Baby, you aren’t normal.”
“You”—I pinch her chin for her attention—“are fucking spectacular. Don’t you ever forget it.”
This book has everything, a little bit of angst, humor, endless banter, friendships to die for a whole lot of love, some really sexy scorching scenes and not to forget some really kickass games of football but the best thing about this book is family, both in which you are born and the one you make. This series is about Mason and Kayla, but its about so much more than that as well!
The whole book is a bunch of goodness and love, which is why I cannot pick one moment that stands out. Although there is no Cliffhanger and this book officially brings the story of this couple to a close, it is no where near complete. You will definitely see this lead couple with a continuing story in the books to follow!
