Not everything in the garden wants to be there.'Interment' is a disturbing and idiosyncratic work of psychological horror. Part graphic novelette, part story, part poem and partly art. This is the first of three illustrated prose poems written by RJ Barker and illustrated by Mikko Sovijärvi . It will be followed by 'The Social Diary of a Ghoul' (originally published in 'Champagne Shivers' where it received a nomination for the James B Baker award for literature) and finally 'The Boy Who Listened in at Doors.'

Interesting

A very short read, but one that you’ll find yourself coming back to again. Gothic horror that will provoke your imagination and make you want to read between the lines. Great illustrations too.

I have no idea what this is

Very very confused, I must be missing something. This is a little too arty for my liking, I don't get it

This must be art because I did not get this at all. I read this couple of times and still did not get it.
There were words, sure. But those words were more than a bit out of place. They should have been in some song by Alice Cooper or King Diamond. You know, haunting that way. But I like the word play as such here.
Then there were pictures, nicely chaotic pictures, but those pictures did not work with the words, but I liked them.
But the collaboration between words and pictures. That did not work.
So.... this must be art.
