This was a fun, fast and steamy romance that takes Renn and shows her what a scumbag her hubby is when she finds him cheating on her with her BFF...a quick trip to her father's place to regroup puts her in the path of three hot men, who happen to know her father. Yep, tricky but they make it work ;) There is a ton of steam, some bad business and a fab future to carve out for strong and feisty Renn. I love that they got their HEA and some good closure for her 'ex' ;D

Renn leaves the big city after finding her husband cheating with her best friend and returns to her small hometown to pick up the pieces of her life. A visit to a bar leads her to Mateo (H), Eric (H), and Lucas (H), her father’s best friends. Things heat up very quickly for the four, even though they’re keeping their relationship under wraps. Unfortunately, Renn’s ex isn’t done with her and her three men will have to come up with a plan to get rid of him for good. Ultra-hot and steamy age gap RH with a bit of family and friendship drama.

READ REVIEWS BEFORE THE BOOK!!
DNF… I don’t even know where to begin with this tragic story.. first off I will say I have read one other book by this author and loved it enough to give it 4 stars… but holy fu*k is this book all over the place. I was completely confused and lost by the first chapter I had to go back a few pages to make sure I didn’t miss something because I was so confused. Let’s break this down.
The FMC marries college sweetheart right after graduation, she opens a lingerie store in NYC mind you, and makes a ton of money (it was never specified how much), then goes to a spa her card gets declined the estheticians berate her and the FMC gets kicked out because of it then she finds out her husband is f**king her best friend and spent all FMC’s money on said best friend. It’s also mentioned that the “husband” has all control of the accounts even though ITS HER BUSINESS AND HES JUST AN EMPLOYEE!!
Then she somehow ends up back in her small town of what I’m assuming is Louisiana because someone in the book spoke Cajun French. My first question is why did the FMC have literally no anxiety about leaving NYC and going home? She never talked about the fear of not having money nothing…
Anyways she walks from the airport and was supposed to go home to her fathers house but somehow ends up at a bar… with no explanation. Then her dads best friend was there and recognized her then she ended up kissing him in front of EVERYONE at the bar… doesn’t that seem a lil suspicious to anyone? Like who in h*ll just decides hey! This is my dads bsf let me kiss in front of the whole town. Plus she literally leaves with him and there’s no signs of this chick’s luggage like where did it go?
Moving on, the dads bsf ends up calling his “buddies” and says he’s bringing home a girl to the apartment for them to share. But then somehow ends up at this house and walks into what I’m assuming was supposed to be a lobby and a guy said taste a drink and that the guy she got for the night..? I know this is confusing but it seriously did happen. This sounds more like a s*x club to me then an actual house… where people are supposed to live… she ends up with Lucas (one of the buddies) from the drink she choose but all of them show up to the room? And start having s*x. Like that s*x part was to be expected but what the fu*k is with the drink thing and the s*x club vibe. And where the fu*k is the luggage 😂😂.
Now let me get this straight this girl went from shy asf, couldn’t sit through a Brazilian wax (that’s why she was at the spa), and broke (with no luggage… I’m never going to get over that) but turned vicious s*x kitten with the dads bsf and 2 guys she never met before… right right cuz that makes fu*king perfect sense… NOT. This book jumped all over the place and you can see now. I am sorely disappointed with this author.

There were a lot of things going on at the same time, to the point that it was confusing at times as to who was speaking. In fact, there was one point near the end when the person who was narrating changed and even the tense of the writing switched from first to third then back to first person. There were so many grammatical errors that it was aggravating.
The book also had so many plot twists and paths that just dropped off without being finished that it was completely devoid of a clear plotline. Too many unresolved issues made for a very bad storyline.
Much of the story was written in such a way that it would cause any reader, including myself, to ask what author in their right mind interrupts a volcanically spicy hot scene with a boring monologue about counterfeit money and the "modus operandi" of the villain making it, and then reminisces how three friends met in the first place?! The book kept taking side roads with things that were totally unrelated to the story within each of the three men's memories. First, one of them reminisced about money laundering, another remembered school days when the three of them first met, and the third one remembered what happened to a client that had no bearing on the FMCs situation.
I also found an issue with the fact that the end of the Blurb mentioned her being pregnant with triplets, yet that didn't happen just before the ending. It was a bit ridiculous how convoluted the entire book was. Oh, it had the potential to be a really good book, but there were just too many issues with it that I couldn't give it more than a two-star rating.

Who knew finding out your husband is having an affair with your best friend could make your life better?
Renn thought she was happily married. But was she? Her husband was never around. He never made time for her. And when she tries to take a spa day, she realizes she has no money. He spent it all (or even overdrew on her credit card). The guy is an absolute jerk. Buying another woman things on their credit cards. But when she finds her best friend and husband kissing at a local restaurant, that is it.
She goes back home to stay with her father, the Mayoral candidate. Instead of going straight there she heads to a bar to wallow in her sorrows. The man she meets there is someone she's known for a long time. Matteo. Her father's best friend. They both find each other attractive, but Matteo has a proposition of another kind for her. Come home with him and his two best friends. WOAH!
I thought the romance was a little forced between the three of them. I liked the way Ajme told the story of each man and how they turned up in this small town. But, it seemed like Renn fell in love too quickly. It was still an enjoyable book. The way the three men help her with her ex-husband. And the revelation of her pregnancy was sweet. Especially between her and her father. Sometimes you fall in love with the wrong guy or guys. But the heart wants what the heart wants!.

As luck would have it, she run into one of her father’s best friend’s and just wanted to lose herself in one night of unbridled passion with him. However, what she didn’t expect was Mateo’s offer of a night filled of adventure, included his two best friends, Luke and Eric.
After their night together, they all realised that one night wasn’t enough and decided to embark of a secret relationship. However, just as they settled into their relationship, Renn’s soon to be ex-husband, Tyson, returned to reek havoc on their lives. Unfortunately, she soon discovered with the help of her three lovers the chaos that Tyson had caused her life and her business. Luckily, the trio were able to get her out of her predicament, just as she received life changing news, which gave them the courage to tell her father everything about everything.
This was a truly sizzling read , that had me totally lost in their story. Each of the men brought something different out in Renn, but when they were together, it was just explosive. All I can say at this point is that, it was an amazing book and you need to buy it, as you will be blown away.

Renn thought her life was perfect. She was married to her high school sweetheart and making a success in her dream business. She was a little sad that her husband seemed to be distancing himself. Then she finds out that he maxed out their credit card buying lingerie for another woman. After some investigating she tracks down her cheating husband in a motel room...with her best friend. Feeling betrayed she ends things and heads home to spend time with her father the mayor. Her first night back, she goes to a bar to unwind and runs into her father's best friend Mateo. She used to have the hots for Mateo growing up. When she sees him as a grown-up sparks fly. He is interested in her too and invites her to join him and his friends for some fun. Renn is happy to feel wanted and is ready to have a fun time so she agrees. They spend a very passionate night together. The problem is none of them want the good times to end but if her father finds out there could be problems.

I wanted to like it.
The plot in this story had SO many holes and issues! The timeline was inconsistent, confusing, and unbelievable. It felt like the story elements were just thrown together without any development or progression. There were just too many details that were missing or overlooked. The story premise is good, but it didn’t unfold in a believable manner.
For example, the main female character discovers that her husband cheated on her. She then left him to go back home to her father. The next time her husband is mentioned, he is referred to as her ex-husband. When did she get a divorce?!? It certainly isn’t mentioned in the book. Important details like that are missing throughout the story.
This book has some steamy RH scenes, contains a HEA, and no cliffhangers. This story could be good if the author rewrites the story to add in the missing details and clarifying information.

There she comes face to face with her father's best friends Mateo, Eric and Lucas. While they are older than her it doesn't stop their undeniable chemistry. Before long they are engaged in a foursome.
Unfortunately Tyson isn't done trying to ruin her life. Can they help her stop him before it's too late?
While I enjoyed their storyline it was mostly sex (now don't misunderstand me I like that too) but I would of liked to see more of their story to balance it out.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Renn, Mateo, Eric, & Lucas. When this book opens we find that Renn is on her way home after she finds out that her husband and her best friend are sleeping together. After returning home she is depressed and figures drinking is the way to go. Little did she know she would find her dad's best friend. Mateo can't believe the beautiful woman who just walked into the bar. Little did he know she would be the one person he and his best friends had been looking for. If only he didn't have to betray her dad to get his ultimate fantasy. Can they find a HEA or will the past make sure a future is impossible?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

it’s alright
This is the only standalone I’ve read from the series, so going from first impression it was a little messy. The book was maybe 80% or more of only sex, which I skipped every single time when I realized i was almost halfway through the book and it was mostly sex. Anytime it wasn’t sex it was the characters thoughts or a little conversation and then back to really drawn out sex scenes. It was mostly annoying because the books were going by so fast without any connection to the characters because of all the sex. I’ve read other books roughly the same length as this that weren’t so long and still had high quality sex scenes. I wanted to know how they’d handle Tyson so I pushed through to the end.
I would give this 2 stars but maybe I missed something that indicated the book was mostly for a sexy read.

This was so bad. I love fast paced books, but this was crazy fast. She hasn't seen Mateo in years, has been in town 5 minutes, they exchange 2 sentences, make out, then shes in the car with him and his 2 best friends. What little plot there is, is just dumb. More than once I wondered if the author was drunk while writing this because of how many mistakes there were. Sentences repeated. Actions repeated in the next paragraph as if it didn't JUST happen. The amount they say " erect penis" is cringeworthy. I'm so disappointed because I loved " Protecting their Princess"
Also around 70% the talk went from southern charm to southern hillbilly making them sound like idiots. I love hillbillies, but you can't just change their personalities at the end of a book, or anytime really.

Renn's marriage falls apart and she doesn't know what to do. She decides to go home to her father's place but makes a stop at a bar before she gets there. She runs into Matteo her father's best friend. Matteo is stunned by Renn and asks her to come home with him and his friends. Renn goes with him and its not long before things heat up. Will this be a temporary thing between them? What will her father say about it?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Renn seems to have it all but when she discovers her husband's infidelity it sends her back to her childhood home to lick her wounds and regroup. Steamy and suspenseful, Renn finds surprising comfort in the arms of Lucas, Eric, and Matteo. This was a fun read even the Easter trope was tasteful and not overly done. The spicy scenes were of course my favorite, but the suspense arc gave this story more depth than you might expect.

I thought this romance was so fun to read. Rent goes to visit her father when she finds out her hubby had cheated on her with her BFF. She meets her dad’s friends Mateo, Lucas and Eric who are instantly smitten with her. As they try to help her deal with her past, chaos happens and they need to figure out how they can have their happily ever after. I found this book steamy hot and entertaining.

a lot to be desired
Rough. This was a really rough one to get through. None of it made sense, the drama led nowhere and plot lines were left just hanging in the wind. Renn “fought” so hard for her business and there was absolutely no talk of it. She didn’t do one thing. The ending was snuffed short. If I’m going to read about surprise babies I wanna READ about them. She announced it and then the book was done. I’m trying really hard to give this author a chance but I’m really disappointed so far

So this is so much a book I wanted to read. Feeling betrayed when her husband used all her money and she finds him one a date with her bff she now finds herself going home. She doesn't head home right away but visits the local bar finding a friend from her Dad. He makes an offer and what does she have to loose? So this romance was what I needed to read and I am happy I did. Can't wait to read more by this author.

This wasn't one of my favorite books since I found it hard to connect to the characters. There wasn't the development to the story that we usually see and the characters had no depth to them. I didn't like the bunny storyline at all. Lots of steam but not much else but there was definitely the possibility to be more. I thought the story ended abruptly.

This was a fast paced, steamy romance read. Our female lead is Renn who discovers her hubby is a piece of poo and cheating on her with her BFF. She meets her fathers friend at a bar and is propositioned to come home with him and his two besties. I liked the characters and the stories from them but I thought that the relationship aspect was a bit rushed but I loved the guys protectiveness.

This was a steamy read and good read. Renn has a good life in NYC with a thriving business, husband, and a beautiful apartment. She finds out her husband is cheating with her best friend. She runs home to her hometown in Louisiana to run into his dad’s best friend Mateo. He introduces her to his 2 best friends Lucas and Eric who are also best friends of her Dad. She finds excitement and joy with them. And finally opens herself up to being a much stronger woman.

This is a good reverse harem read. It is about Renn, Lucas, Eric and Matteo. The story is a dad best friend with some excitement along the way. Renn has just discovered her husband with her best friend along with some other shady stuff her husband has been up to. She decides to go to her dads but meets the unexpected on the way. This is a steamy and sexy story with a touch of blackmail and steamy bits. I enjoyed the story and like the characters.

When her ex comes crawling to get more money from her, they take care of him. I think they should have done more to the ex but their family was more important.
